I love the Seeds of Change quick-cooking packages. The quinoa/rice is fresh and moist tasting, and fully cooked after a short time in the microwave. It’s a really convenient lunch and I feel like I rewarded my body with a healthy treat, unlike most of the food I’m used to seeing come out of the heat box. I would definitely recommend the Seeds of Change hot pouches to others, and look forward to trying their other items as I see them.

In their catalogue they manipulate the colors of the some of the crops with Photoshop. I ordered about 8 different seed packets from them and two of them were«use by 7⁄2011.» I ordered these in mid 2013. I emailed them about both these items and they were apathetic and full of themselves in the response– something along the lines of «depending on where you grow the crops will have this color.» Of the 8 seed packets ordered 3 of them did not sprout. The radicchio had an outrageously small amount of seeds in it. Disappointing. Seed Savers and High Mowing are so much better and honest. So many more options out there, thankfully

Seeds of Change began as an organic seed company to maintain heritage varietals. Their farm, out by Espanola(New Mexico), still exists, but it’s no longer the roots. Seeds of Change has a shout-out to its New Mexican roots in its mandala logo. Now based in California, they have expanded their product line to simmer sauces, instant rice blends-now they have Italian pasta sauces, salad dressings and chocolate bars. Their tikka masala and korma sauces are excellent for making instant Indian dishes;their chocolate bars are all delicious. Their Dharamsala and Tigris rice blends are wonderful as a basis for vegetarian/vegan dishes. Seeds of Change has changed… and it is change to believe in.
