The food is outstanding. This could be a little gem of the reviews were only on food quality. However, you can open a restaurant and have incompetent waiters. They were sweet, well mannered but they will walk by and ignore you. They got our order confused and the food took a ridiculous long time to be served.

2nd time around, just as awesome! The food is beyond delicious, staff is GREAT this is so my favorite place. I’m not typically a try something new person. Both times I have been here & have tried a new dish I have been impressed. The foods so good, I keep wondering if they have my grampa in the kitchen cooking :) Both times we went in the evening & had male waiters who were attentive.

I guess they get one star because food is ok. The service here is horrible. Not once did waitresses stop to refill our cups or ask how things were. Food took forever to get to our table. Then they only bring one little itsy bitsy thing of white salsa. There are 4 of us. I asked for more and they only bring one more. When we asked for refills on the sodas(when waitress would be called) she brought refills back in cups ½ size of originals. We probably waited close to one hour for the food to finally arrive. The sangria after I asked if it was home made and not can stuffed was brought with canned fruit. This after waitress assured me no can stuff was used. I usually do not write bad reviews. But this place I recommend to nobody!

Eh. Restaurant is cute. Service is ok. Food was eh. Too much mayo in the aji sauces. Huacaina & yucca frita was delish. Ceviche mixto was not spicy, clearly had not been marinating in the lime/juices long enough to get flavor. Salsa criolla was just thinly sliced raw onion, not marinated like it should be. Bisteck anticucho was covered in seasoning, had to scrape some off, it was too overpowering. Tacu tacu de pollo was alright. Just tasted like soy sauce. Missing that extra flavor. Maracuya was delish. Came here hoping to find a new peruvian place since inka trails had closed. Definitely pails in comparison. Would not drive out of my way to eat here again.

After losing Inca Trails in Claremont we happened upon this little gem in Rancho Cucamonga. There is a Peruvian sandwich shop by the same owner on Archibald. I had the Pollo Saltado and it was amazing. Tender chicken in a very flavorful sauce. I have ordered this more than once for lunch and a few times for dinner take out. The prices are very reasonable.

My aunt and uncle told me about this place and I’m very happy that I tried it, the food is yummy and the prices are also great. Not to mention that they also have great music playing all the time, makes me want to dance when I’m here.

I normally don’t like to leave bad reviews but unfortunately, today I need to. My parents and I came here for dinner because we were craving Peruvian food and the place we usually like to go to was just too far a drive so we opted here instead. The older lady who sat us down was nice and so was the male who was working up front but the younger lady who took our order totally ruined dinner for us. First, she didn’t even write our order down. I’m assuming she just thought she’d wing it and hope to remember our orders rather than inputting it into their tablets like they did with every other table. Anyway, a couple sat down next to us maybe 10 minutes after we ordered and much time passed, probably another good 10 minutes and their food got to them before ours did. Finally, my mom got her plate and we also got a plate of fried rice we ordered to split all around and we were expecting mine and my dads plates to follow but nope. So we gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited a bit longer but it was just becoming very annoying so we hauled the waitress down asking for the rest of the food and she had to ask us what we ordered again. Thinking she would go back to inform whoever is cooking, she didn’t… No, she went to the restroom instead. We had to ask the male worker and he went back to ask the waitress after she came out of the restroom and we were able to hear them discussing our orders. Then my dads plate comes and still mine hadn’t arrived so we waited again… Still no food. We asked the male again and went to go ask our waitress AGAIN then came back and told us that according to the waitress, we never ordered those dishes. Why the heck would only ONE person in a party of 3 order food? Like, oh yeah, my dad and I just came along with my mom to watch her eat??? He said it would take another 10 – 15 minutes and we sure«fine.» So I just ate the plate of fried rice we wanted to share and boxed my plate when it finally came out. Terrible service. Still had to pay the whole bill, which wasn’t to our surprise but they did not receive a tip. In my family, we are normally very generous when we tip but my dad and my mom and I felt it fair we not leave one. This happened this evening, February 14, 2016

The food here is fantastic! The flavors are wonderful. I really enjoyed the empanadas and the chicken fried rice dish was seasoned perfectly. I will definitely be back, because there’s so much more I want to try.

Great place, great vibe and great food. Had some chicha morada and lomo saltado. I will be returning fursure! Great service aswell. It’s pricey but never the less it brings back many memories. And for those who left the three star/two star reviews. If you need authentic food like Mexican food go to Mexico, Spanish food go to Spain, Italian food go to Italy and Peruvian food go to Peru. For us being in the states this is the closest authenticity we will get.

This place was pretty good. Nice service, good food. Great lunch specials! It can be a little pricey though without the lunch specials…

Very good food, great service. Probably silly to comment on a side dish but I really liked the beans a lot! Prices almost seem too cheap for the quality of food, very relaxing place to sit and eat.

Lovely restaurant located within the same lot as my company. We come here for lunch quite regularly. Service is great and the ambiance is quiet and relaxing. I’ve had several dishes, but I’ll post my favorites. The lomo saltado, which is good. The quality of the beef is great. Always cooked well, not overdone or dry and well seasoned. The pesto spaghetti with con carne, lightly flavored pesto spaghetti noodles with an excellent piece of flank steak. Again always cooked well, still tender and excellently seasoned. Perhaps my favorite, the Tacu Tacu de mariscos. A typical Peruvian Creole dish, made of leftover rice and beans fried together with a seafood sauce or gravy. The seafood included is shrimp, calamari, mussels, octopus, and scallops. The sauce here is much more like a gravy, and I have never had it this way… however it’s so delicious and for me and my Creole roots, its a comfort dish. The fish is good quality and fresh and the dish is just perfectly prepared. My only complaint, the bread they serve always seems old, but I could care less about it lol! Their aji is perfectly spicy and just the right consistency imo. Oh, and let me not forget to mention their empanadas. Perfectly crispy yet flaky and tender. The cheese empananda is my absolute favorite, with the chicken being a close second, with the beef being a close third lol! i definitely recommend this place for an authentic Peruvian meal.

Ordered the Salchipapas and it was delicious. The ahi sauce was amazing, not as spicy as other Peruvian cuisines, but that’s what makes each one unique! I’ve ordered tallarin saltado, lomo saltado, saltado de pollo, tallarin verde, pollo a la brasa, papa la huancaina, and so many more and they were all delicious! The drinks are all great as well, my favorite is the Chicha Morada. All I have to say now is VIVAPERUCARAJO!

The food was tasty. I ordered the chicken, with the rice/bean combo. It’s filling. I thought the place was ok. Nothing special about it. It’s located in a strip mall but it’s clean and decent. I do recommend.

Seriously this place was amazing. I never had Peruvian food before so I swung into this place with the SO. We had the lunch special and it was incredible. The Peruvian rice tastes buttery but light and delicious. And the main dish was grilled sliced beef with peppers and onions over french fries. They also serve everything with this spicy dipping sauce which is insane! They also have special Peruvian desserts and drinks you can order. All in all it’s pretty legit. While probably not the healthiest thing out there it was absolutely delicious. I will be stopping in again to explore the menu a bit more.

Although I’ve been to Micas Sandwich a few times, this was my first visit to the new sit down version of the restaurant. To me this restaurant pretends to be a full service restaurant without actually knowing how to be one. Order an appetizer? Shouldn’t there be some plates for sharing? They bring out dinner rolls… How wonderful. Maybe you should have brought out appetizer plates so we don’t crumbs all over the table and have nowhere to set down our knives. Numbered signs on the tables… Is this fast casual or a sit-down service restaurant? Soda served in a takeout cup? Wait a minute I thought this was a sit down restaurant. This restaurant is called Micas Peruvian Fusion… I don’t see any fusion on the menu. Where is it? There are some differences between the Fusion mica and sandwich mica, but the menu is mostly the same. If you’re just ordering items that can be found in both restaurants, just go to the small one on Archibald, you’ll save a few dollars on each dish, won’t have to pay a tip, and won’t be confused with the service.

The food was excellent. It’s hard to come by good food hidden off in the tiny little nooks of our little town. Fortunately, there are more and more little gems worth taking the time of checking out. I came here with my family for dinner. My girlfriend and I shared a soup and some fried rice. We ordered a Parihuela and a plate of Chaufa de Arróz. Both dishes were filled with an appreciable amount of seafood ranging from muscles, to fish, to octopus and shrimp. The flavor of the soup was light and balanced with acidity, while the rice had a hearty home cooked feel. The service was on point and we were given the server’s full attention. We will be back again.

The food and the service were outstanding. We ordered ceviche, seafood soup, and inca cola. The ceviche was my favorite so fresh and flavorful. We were pleasantly surprised to find out they have Ricotto hot sauce. We will be back!
