This is a much deserved updated review. The gals in the morning at this location are awesome! I’m not so great with names, but they do a great job of remembering mine. There is a girl in the morning who I think is a supervisor who always recommends the newest menu items or helps me out when I’m not sure what to order. Very knowledgeable. Today, there was a very rude customer who was hostile to me and the cashier basically accusing me of cutting in front of him even though he wasn’t standing in line. I wish I could remember this girl’s name, but she gave me a cup of coffee on the house for having to experience that unpleasant incident. That made my day as it had gotten off to a rough start. Awesome service here!

Located inside the Marriott, this Starbucks has limited hours. It’s in a great location for hotel guests but their staff needs to work on being prompt. Posted hours showed they open at 6a. But the first worker to show up arrived at around 6:15a. He hustled to get everyone served quickly but it took time because he worked the cashier and was the barista at the same time. The next one arrived at about 6:25. And the last one around 6:35a. By the time they opened, there was a long line of irate and caffeine deprived guests. 2 large groups of parents trying to feed their kids before an early morning game ended up leaving because they were understaffed and didn’t have any food ready. They didn’t even turn on the lights until the third worker showed up. Because of the line & large orders preceding me, I ordered a doppio on ice. I guess it was so simple(given the previous customer’s large & complicated order) that the cashier looked stunned for a minute. This location lacks a scanner for those paying with your mobile device. It’s not a big issue as they can manually enter the payment.

Sabrina really took great care of me at this Starbucks and offered great service with a smile when she was the only one working cash register and drink station.

Daniella is fantastic, joyful and extraordinary in her service. She GLADLY made me a decaf pour over(most groan) and had a smile the whole time as she focused on my order. God bless you Daniella and have a great day.

This is a great little Starbucks conveniently located right inside of the Rancho Cordova Marriott. The baristas here always seem in extremely high spirits and you can tell that they deal with a lot of out of towners and have a ton of local regulars. The service here is always consistent and the product produced is always consistent as well. This place can get pretty busy and also can run out of food rather early, so beware…

Service has much improved in the last year! Jenny is awesome!!! My drink is now made perfectly and most if the crew even know it by heart. Thanks for always being welcoming and speedy!

Located inside the Marriott Hotel, I thought I would try this Starbucks out since it was walking distance from light rail and the Saturday farmer’s market. The prices seem to be a bit higher here, which is a shame considering there is Starbucks just down the road in Gold River. If you feel like pretending to be a tourist, this is a good Starbucks for it. They have flatscreen TVs in the seating area with CNN. Also have those brochure racks with local attractions. I grabbed one featuring nearby caverns and caves. Love that stuff! There was also a brochure highlighting the Marin town of Novato. WTF? The coffee was coffee. It’s Starbucks, people. It’s like reviewing a McDonald’s hamburger — the end product from a chain business is pretty uniform. At least, that has been my experience. I don’t see why you couldn’t try out the Marriott amenities if you are there. For instance, we sat by the garden area/pool with our lattes — it was a bit chilly — but in a few months it would make for nice ambiance. Maybe you could sneak into one of the conference rooms and grab some mints. I mean, you are paying a bit more for your coffee, may as well make the most of it!
