Marlene made my entire experience at Chipotle amazing. She was so hard working and polite. She exceeded my expectations for a hostess. The food was excellent. I got a burrito with extra meat, steak and carnitas with chips guac and pico. Marlene went out of her way to help all her customers as soon as they walked in and kept the reaturuant clean and all while keeping the ice in the soda fountain filled. She is quite the asset for your company I just wish I had an employee like her. Thanks for hitting a home run with the excellent food which reflects well on your kitchen staff and with hiring exceptional employees. Best Chipotle experience ever! Thanks again. I’m looking forward to the next time.

This is an interesting iteration of the Chipotle chain. Pretty good food here but way small interior space. I come here in good weather for the patio.

This Chipotle just blew me away! My favorite thing about getting chipotle is the salad dressing. They had just run out so they made a fresh batch just for me. Took only a few minutes! They didn’t cut any corners on my meal and then compensated me for the short wait! Not even necessary! Truly went above and beyond and made my day after a long draining day of work. Thank you Friday night crew! You’re the best! Gold standard of chipotle service!

Yes, definitely not a Chipotle. But as Michelle said, there’s a good local place, Las Tarascas, a half mile or so further down the road.

O M G please someone tell the manager to either hire more people or schedule more mployees if you’re going to mail EVERYONE a free burrito coupon … food is awesome and my sympathy to the hard working employees.

Wtf? This is not a chipotle, but a residential address. However, if you keep going down the street you’ll find a very satisfying local Mexican restaurant that will hit the spot!

I went into day for lunch and got it to go. Once opened took a bite and my brown rice is hard and my chicken is burned. Not a real pleasant taste. Maybe a different meat next time.

Great location I’m so glad they put one close to my work! The staff is so friendly and so nice when I came here and the place is very clean regardless of the E. coli outbreak Ha ha ha but Isabela was very nice when she rang up my order. I will definitely be back for more yumminess

I’ve received great food and excellent service from every Chipotle I’ve visited, and this new location is no different. On each of my visits here, the staff has been friendly and enthusiastic. The only reason I don’t come to this one more often is because the parking lot and surrounding traffic have become horrendous in recent months. This location’s indoor/outdoor ambiance is nice. The indoor area may be a little too small, considering Chipotle’s long waiting lines… but there’s plenty of outdoor seating too if you want to watch all of the crazy traffic go by. Thank you Chipotle!

I honestly have no clue why this location has such a poor rating. This is BYFAR my favorite Chipotle in town. I used to go to the Roseville location when I lived around there and I always got small portions and terrible service. All the workers seemed like they hated their jobs and would take out their frustrations on my burrito portions. I stopped eating Chipotle for awhile because of that but I decided to give this location a chance and I am so glad I did. The staff here are very friendly and don’t seem pissed off to be there. More importantly however, the food is fresh and the portions are HUGE. I usually get two meals out of a burrito bowl from here, and only at this location. So thank you staff for making lunch time awesome every time. I’m a loyal customer now!

I might just be saying this cause the people here are so friendly there but I think the food somehow tastes better at this location.

Came by around 9pm and the staff was friendly! We enjoy our take out experience lol. No line, no waiting. Clean restaurant. Portions were decent and wasn’t cheated out of anything. One burrito split and they offered to rewrapp it but we just took the the extra tortilla on the side. Very accommodating and we will be back!

I am so very disappointed in this Chipotle store. I went into the store this evening because of a sponsored fundraiser for my kids’ high school– I as the only customer– everyone else in the store was staff and the table occupied by the male staff was quite loud and obnoxious. The woman was«rolling“the burrito for the order and one of the boys at the table yelled at her across the restaurant, «Hey… Isabella… I like how you’re rolling that burrito…» She looked at him and said, «Oh yeah? You like how I’m rolling the burrito? I’m rolling it EXTRA tight…» As a high school educator and parent I knew enough to know they were either making sexual innuendo or suggesting my burrito was a phat joint… Either way it was a turn off… Then to make matters worse, they were skimpy and stingy with the rice and beans and the foil wrapper tore when she wrote on the burrito so their was sharpie ink on the burrito when we got it home. I do recognize that it’s fast food, but c’mon! A little professionalism… At least fake decorum while customers are in the store!

They don’t know how to serve proper scoops at this location. Always get the skimpiest portions, even when requesting double. Typically order a veggie bowl… And they give they tiniest scoop of guac, like seriously, there is no meat or dairy in my bowl and you can’t even give a full scoop of guacamole. I have officially given up on this location after 4 visits and never being satisfied.

I was so excited that the Chipotle had opened near my house and in a nicer area than I’m used to going. I figured that I’d make a little bit further of a drive but I have to say, the longer drive become a big disappointment. Saturday evening, not very many people, and no line at all. I walk in to eyes, all staring at me. No «hello», no «hi, can I help you», no «give us a second». None. Just blank stares as they all looked at me and I looked at them as if I were some lost puppy trying to find a home. What seemed like forever, someone finally approached me and helped. I ordered to go and my sister specifically wanted a veggie bowl. When I said veggie, before I could even stop the person, they plopped on a heaping amount of fajita veggies. Now, I am not complaining about the wonderful portions they give, but my sister didn’t want fajita veggies. Fail. I didn’t want to make a big deal, so she ended up scraping them out, but still. Service was poor, store was nice and clean. Food was freshly prepped(never disappoint) and my husband and sister said their portions were more than fair and food was tasty. Guess I can’t complain about the quality of Chipotle, but I sure can complain about the service. Work on it guys. I’m sure it’s new and it will take awhile, but take notes and maybe I’ll be back to see.

Huge disappointment. I love chipotle and was excited to have one down the street from me. Despite the fact that they never have a line they take forever and have terrible service. They give you insanely tiny portions and give you attitude if you ask for more. The entire point of paying $ 8 for a burrito is that it is going to be gigantic. Lots of room for improvement. I truly hope managers see this and spend some more time training new staff.

Update to previous review — I’ve been here about 15 times since my last review and all were excellent experiences. My take on this location is that they take slightly longer to make your bowl/burrito but are better with portions and listening to your requests. I’d rather them take a little more time and my bowl be better, than fast and mediocre. So this location is now always my go to Chipotle. Also notice their guac is always better quality & fresher than Zinfandale.

This location sucks. I get they’re new. But there is no hustle in how they work down the line. The first time I came here I was in at 11am, when they open. First customer, no brown rice. As soon as I walked in, an employee walked out with a bag of chips for a smoke break. Second time I came here, I was in at 11:15am and no guac. They already charged me for it, said id have to wait a couple mins. 15 minutes later I left with a cold bowl. Eating here now for the third and final time. Dining in. No hustle. Undercooked rice. Cold chicken. Zinfandel for life.

I couldn’t believe the low rating this new chipotle had until I went there and finally saw why the low rating. Came here because the Zinfandel chipotle is always super busy and wanted to check the place out. Over all the inside looks is pretty good until I walked in the bathroom to wash my hands before ordering… out of paper towels !!! First bad thing. Then the line… was short but noticed thee employees were just taking their sweet time… really? With little people in front of me it took over 15 minutes to get my burrito bowl. As with all chipotles, the amount of food placed on your bowl is sad now. Feels like the bowl is half full or half empty whichever way you look at it. I still think that even though the lines are bigger at Zinfandel, they move quicker. In terms of food amount, please chipotle put as much as you used too. Please !!!

I went to this one once when I didn’t feel like driving to the other one. What a mistake. Never thought it’d be possible to ruin a burrito, but these guys somehow manage. Usually when they poke holes in your tortilla, they offer to make you a new one. Not here. I’m not the type to make demands, so I just took it home and ate it with a fork. It was mostly dried-out rice anyway. They’re also super stingy with the guacamole. Whatever. The one in Citrus Heights is a thousand times better.

If there was an option for me to choose zero star, I would do that. I walked in for a burrito. I won’t even comment further on how they wrap their burritos. EVERYSINGLETIME I go there the burritos are all popped and seriously messed up. Considering the reputation of horrible burrito wrappers, I ordered a chicken bowl with guac and chip. And here comes more issue. THECHIPSAREJUSTFULLOFSALTALLOVERTHEPLACE. I go to Chipotle all the time in different locations, bay area, and sacramento, and this location’s chips are just full of salt, it gives me headache. I brought this food home now I can’t even take it back to chipotle because they’re closed. Okay, well, chips are just chips. I hope the bowl is okay. I start eating the chicken bowl, and BAMM! I felt the piece of chicken bone/ligament while I was chewing the food(it was a hard pivot looking thing that I couldn’t chew)! Thankfully, my teeth are fine. But, unfortunately, I know now that THISISTHEPLACE I WILLNEVERGO and I hope that all you Unilocalers stay away from this place until Chipotle management does something about this. Also, when I went there, there were about four young gentlemen who just wanted to get things done and go home, tossing things around, saying ‘what up’ instead of saying hello, and weren’t really taking care of the customers. What’s really up is your mild sauce that’s shooting up as the horrible burrito wrapper just popped that 999th burrito. BAM, he set a new record. WHAT A DAY.

After discovering that WF had removed their burrito bar, and needing a place to have lunch, we headed to Chipolte. Oddly enough, we had never gone to Chipolte before, dismissing it as «just a glorified Taco Bell». We couldn’t have been more wrong! We got toe curling yummy vegan burrito bowls, in record time, and as an added treat, zero GMOs in our food. Generous portions, fair prices. We’re totally going back next time we need a quick meal on the go.

I must agree with the poster below! I am a huge Chipotle fan, I usually eat it about once or twice a week because convenience and taste. I work across the street and was very excited a new location was opening up that was close enough for me to walk to! I went there for lunch one day last week and I don’t think I will EVER go back! First of all they skimp on EVERYTHING. From the rice to the chicken to the guac it felt like I was getting half of what I normally do! The chicken was literally about 8 pieces and was like a quarter of a spoon full and if that wasn’t bad enough I pay extra for guac and they do the same exact thing giving me another quarter scoop! I even mentioned something and the server told me «Im sorry» and rushed me down the line. To top that off the food was cold and tasted stale and I went during a lunch rush! Not satisfied at all will definitely drive the extra 2 miles to get to the one down Folsom and Zinfandel. Bummer because Chipotle is my go to!

It’s a Chipotle which means big burritos. All non GMO now and this location has been open less than a month. This is a key fact because the staff hasn’t quite figured out how much fits into a burrito so be prepared to reign them in with toppings. They are also awaiting their license to sell beer so it’s your usual non-alcoholic liquid refreshment for now. I love everything here but lately I’m partial to the Sofritias Burrito with brown rice, lots of veggies and hot sauce. The chicken and steak are also amazing. They can make quesadillas and tacos as well but I tend to stick with burritos or bowls(burritos without the tortilla). It can be a large meal so be prepared to eat or take something home with you. Enjoy!

The venerable and progressive Chipotle folk have opened another franchise. Good on them. I’m jazzed that they are here(it’s close to my house!) Cons: Let’s face it, they’re in the old K-Mart center which is undergoing massive renovation right now. The new parking situation in this center is truly bad and the parking around Chipotle is the worst in the entire center. This location is in one of the most congested stretches of Sunrise Blvd. Leave extra time to negotiate traffic if you want to come here. Pros: Much of the traffic problem can be alleviated if you take advantage of the phone-in/fax ordering that Chipotle uses. Check them out!

It’s very clean(2nd day opened) very pleasant staff. The staff was very on top of keeping the dining area and restrooms very clean. I noticed that the manager walked out and asked each customer how their food was. This was a first for me at any Chipotle that I’ve visited. I will say that the brown rice did seam a little under cooked. I chalked that off as it being just two days opened. I would highly recommend this Chipotle over the other ones in this area. Great job.
