Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. The store is clean, not too big, and well-​organized. The reason for four stars is because sometimes their prices can be just plain silly, but there are those times when paying a little more is worth avoiding a trip «down the hill» to Poway.

Good place to find some tools that ranges from affordability to GOOD LORD do i really a need $ 50+ hammer.
Lots of variety from simple everyday tools to gardening tools to automotive tools. Also has garden plants that ive been eyeing on. Will definitely be coming back for those.
Staff are friendly and will help you out on your project needs. Lots of parking so no hassle.

Great store that is open late when everyone else is closed we live in Ranchita so it’s a drive to ramona, if i need plumbing parts and it’s after 5:00 PM i know they will be open for my plumbing parts until 7:00 PM, instead of driving to Home Depot in Poway

We come here a LOT when we are in need of do it yourself items for our house. We LOVE the service. We have always been greeted happily and staff always seems genuinely pleased to help us if needed. Such a great addition to our town.

Went to send a Fedex One rate box. I priced it on line vs. UPS and USPS and it was $ 10.50. Went to mail package and they charged $ 15.00. I said that the website said it was $ 10.50 and was told the website must be wrong. Paid $ 15, went home and checked, $ 10.50. I know it’s only $ 4.50 but it’s up 30% from the posted rate. They push using Local Shops but this makes it difficult.

They’re great– they have what I need when I’m unwilling to drive“down the hill” to home depot. But you pay for the privilege. Prices much higher than down the hill. Good customer service tho. Good staff. :)

This is the place for the most helpful employees ever. When I have no idea how to proceed on a project, they are there to help. They show you what you need, explain what you need to do and are super nice about it. They don’t care if you are only buying a dollar bolt, you still get amazing help. Always well staffed, so you don’t have to wait for help. Prices are comparable with the huge box stores. Very glad they are here in Ramona.

Very good variety of products, most of the time we can find what we need here or at their lumber yard store. Store is neat and clean, employees are friendly and leashed dogs are allowed inside.

A perfect sized store for Ramona. And always very nice employee’s. The help I need is… where is something at, and I never get the 80 yards that way or somewhere over there, or the do have to help you look. Between the original B St. and the larger Main St. locations I don’t have to leave Ramona for the hardwares I need. From my fidley bits for the odd project to replaceing or finally buying a power tool. They got me covered. Thank you.

I went to ransoms today for a part to repair a toilet, I met an older dude in the aisle that worked there called Dave, this guy was amazing and totally helpful. If you ever need anything at Ransoms ask for this guy he is just the coolest and super attentive. I will be contacting management to sing his praises as well.

Great place to get hardware, parts, etc. They have a huge selection of paints, faucets, cabinet hardware, gardening soils, and more. Everyone is friendly and always willing to help. There is a Postal Annex inside too, to mail out your items through USPS, UPS, and FedEx. Plus they can make keys! How convenient!
I recommend joining their rewards program, I get reward certificates all the time!
