Dr. Roe and his staff are professional and pleasant. I higly recommend them.

Dr. Roe has been our family dentist for at least 8 years — in fact, we started going to this office even before Dr. Roe joined the team. We’ve had nothing but delightful experiences with him and his staff.
I’ve had a horrible history with dentists — the kind that was to perform some sort of procedure every time you visit: replace fillings, add unnecessary fillings, extra xrays… anything to boost the bill. I even had one dentist tell me that my jaw was disintegrating because it occasionally pops when I chew gum! Ack!
Dr. Roe does not overreact and his approach to my dental care is so refreshing! I’ve gone years (knock on wood) without any major work. I get fluoride every time and I think that helps. Even though it’s not covered by my insurance, it’s only like $ 14… worth it!
I do have to say that for major procedures, Dr. Roe is more expensive that other dentists — but his honesty with my teeth far exceeds the value of these procedures when they do arise. I also have to say that we’ve had odd experiences with some of the hygentists. One is no longer there and with the other who was a little rough on the cleaning, well, we just changed the days we visit and now see an excellent lady.
And yes, it is true that they ask you to pay the bills up front when they are under $ 100 or something and you just file the claim yourself. But, my daughter and I make our cleaning appointments on the same day… since the charges are higher, they always file for us.
Dr. Roe and his team just moved to a fabulous new office on Creedmoor — we just love it! They send postcard reminders and call before cleanings. Their front desk staff are friendly and efficient. They have free Keurig coffee and free wireless! (Just ask for the password.)
I’m a huge fan of Dr. Roe’s office and have nothing but great things to say about them!

Dr Roe frightens me as he wanted to operate on a tooth of mine and do a root canal and yet when I asked other dentists it turns out that I didn’t need root canal or anything. He was so eager to operate on my teeth and do a root canal here and a root canal there. I felt that I was just another money opportunity and there it was he would «mine» my mouth for money. He claimed that the tooth he operated on before had a crack and I what was done was done, even though that tooth he operated on gave me so much pain and it was not resolved until I went to another more conscientious dentist. It saddened me to see the greed in the lives of these dentists that seems to have increased with the economic situation we are facing currently. And make money out of who?! Out of a guy who is living by faith off donations that come as charity from donors to Christian ministry work. The only reason I was going to that office was because of Dr Lot, Billy Graham’s son-​in-​law who was a real saint and a man of real conscience. Dr Tyson Roe disappointed me greatly and I would just be careful who I choose for a dentist.

So I used Dr. Roe as my dentist for just over 2 years. As an acutal dentist he was ok. But really all he did was look at my teeth and say ‘things look good’. Luckily I never had to have him do any actual work. So what I am reviewing him on, is his office in general. And the moral of the story is ‘What a sham’.
1) He does not accept dental insurance up front. You have to pay for the work and then you have to make the submission to your insurance company. And I have a very repeatuable dental insurance carrier.
2) Most insurance companies pay ‘usual and customary costs’ however, I always owe Dr. Roe extra money for even a routine dental check-​up.
3) His hygentists are a horrible. The lady that cleaned my teeth on average spent less than 5 minutes doing so. I am fairly convinced that it isn’t simply that my teeth are wonderfully clean but that she is doing a subpar job, so that over the course of time Dr. Roe will get a nice big pay check for all the dental work that I need to have done.
Overall, if you want an expensive dentist that does not cater to his patients, this office is the office for you. But on the up side, if you only have 15 minutes for entire semi-​yearly dental examination and cleaning, this might be just the office you are looking for.

Dude has been my dentist for five or six years now. He’s got all of the usual dentist stuff (pickaxes and shovels to scrape your teeth, bale twine to floss with, a big Makita cordless for drilling out the bad stuff and crazy glue to fill it in with, etc.), and he knows what he’s doing with it. But seriously — he’s always a gentleman to talk to, and I’ve recommended Dr. Roe to anyone looking for a dentist in the area. His staff are also wonderfully caring and capable people, and the whole experience is top-​notch.

Dr. Roe has been my dentist for the past … six years, maybe? It is hard to keep track of because I’ve gone to that practice my whole life, but for the first part of my life, my dentist was Dr. Lotz. He turned his practice over to Dr. Roe when he retired several years back.
Dr. Lotz was older and I remember being really surprised when I met Dr. Roe for the first time — he was younger than any dentist I’d seen before. But he was extremely friendly and gentle. I liked him right from the start.
The one constant, though, has been Wanda, my oral hygenist. She started cleaning my teeth from the very beginning and I’ve known only her. Well, her and one other woman who made me GAG AND THROW UP so I did not appreciate her at all. Wanda is gentle and extremely thorough in her cleaning. My entire family goes to her and has gone to her for the past 20 years — she is great!
The one thing about Wanda is that she only works part-​time, so my mother always books her six months in advance. She is wonderful.
Overall, this practice has been very good to my family and I would heartily recommend it!
