I’m sure their items are adorable and I wish I could’ve seen them. Showed up at 4:55 because I was running late today(it’s the holiday season!) but I needed about 5 more gifts to make Christmas perfect. I know they close at 5 but I figured I could get in and out pretty quickly. Unfortunately I was informed that they were already closed despite the fact that the door was unlocked and people were still shopping in the store. Well, I tried to shop local but it looks like Target will win this round. Was looking to spend $ 150 – 200. I’m sorry I couldn’t spend it there. I know it’s my fault for showing up late but good retail sense dictates that you should let a customer in(especially 4 days before Christmas!) I’ll definitely try to shop here again in the future — at an earlier time.

Between the two stores located across the courtyard from each other at Lafayette Village you should be able to find many things to either decorate your house, or buy a gift for a friend. Today my wife went to buy a thank you gift for a friend and CeCe listened to what she wanted to get and put together a great basket that met every need my wife had expressed during their talk. The inventory is ever changing so you will always have a reason to stop in and look around. At least that what my wife tells me.

This is such a fun shop, it is almost impossible to walk out without buying something! Every one of us in our Wine Walk group(third Thursday of each month at this Village) bought something here. Personally I walked out with a birthday card and after enjoying a glass of Sangria with a macho man ice cube in it, had to purchase the ice cube tray for it. After having been a regular customer at this store when they were in North Ridge years ago, I am so HAPPY to see them back. This is fun place to browse, and a fun place to buy gifts!

New Gift Shop in LaFayette Village where Village Sculptor had his Studio Between Mavalios Tea and Oxford Green near Olive Wagon! Cute, Charming and Small, though the space is utilized well, looks good and everything is nicely mechanized! Cool Display of Very Beautiful Soaps in a Sink! Non-Glass Pitchers and Drinking Vessels! Jewelry and other Gift and Party items!

I can not give you the exact date this little place opened, but it has been fairly recent! This shop is located in LaFayette village. It is in between Mavalios(a tea shop) and The Olive Wagon. It is a pretty standard little gift shop. You can find some local stuff, like sauces and such, to glass wear, napkins, jewlery, and decorations. It’s a fun little store to shop for something a little different than what you will find at a department store. Price wise, it seemed pretty standard gift shop prices. Based on an overheard conversation of some patrons placing an order with the shop owner, it appeared she’s able to personalize some products. However i didn’t want to interrupt her and get specifics, so we’ll have to head back over sometime soon, and i will update you then! until then, support small business, shop local and check it out! However be warned there is an attack dog when you walk in… well ok, more like a cute little poodle who wears a sweater and is very friendly that you want to take home with you. But i’ve had coworkers terrified of something even smaller, so be warned! Animal lovers will fall in love, and animal ‘fraidy cats… take a deep breath, don’t make eye contact and just keep walking in the door. :D
