I was happy to find a Groupon that provided an affordable price. However, the facility was hard to get in and out of with a moving truck and entryways are often blocked by others. Most importantly, my things were covered in mold after just over three months of storage. I’ve had to completely throw out an expensive wool rug and my leather couches are now covered in a nasty, moldy residue (not to mention the gross smell). Obviously, the agreement prevents me from customers from getting any compensation in a situation such as this, but I would have expected better from a «climate controlled» facility. Needless to say, I’m pretty disappointed.

I used Security Self Storage for my relocation from Illinois to North Carolina. I am very happy with my choice, the price for the location, size of storage and quality of storage was unbeatable! Sonja had great customer service and was willing to go above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. We also used their U-​Haul service and was nothing less than pleased with the rental experience! I would recommend this company and location for your moving needs.

I have visited Security Self storage office at 3628 Tryon Rd, Raleigh, NC 27 606, In order to store my car. I was welcomed with smile by Sonja (the manager), she was very helpful and answered all of my detailed questions. She showed me all the available options and their prices. I really appreciate her business, and I will definitely come back if I need to store anything in the future. Also, I will highly recommend it to my friends and family.

Excellent customer service! I highly recommend that you call the store directly if you cannot or don’t want to make a reservation online for truck rental.
I mistakenly reserved a uhaul moving truck for the wrong time and day through the uhaul website. I wouldn’t have even known there was a significant problem until Sonja called to remind me of my reservation. First, I have rented lots of cars and trucks for work and personal use, but this was the first time I ever got a courtesy confirmation. Second, after I realized there was a big problem because I booked the truck for the wrong time, Sonja went out of her way to find a truck that I could use — all on the busiest moving weekend of the year. I have no idea how she managed to get me a truck; I checked with every single other truck rental company in a 50 mile radius and couldn’t find anything. I was very grateful for her help; I don’t know what I would’ve done because my lease was ending the next day. I would highly recommend this location.

Great customer service and clean facilities. Best storage facility I’ve dealt with in the area. 24 hour access to storage unit is a plus, too.
