Went in looking for tap shoes since the 2 closest to me are no longer open. I usually like Payless Shoes but was disappointed tonight to find that they seem cheaper in the make of the shoes. I went to the cashier after noticing the tap shoes we were looking at looked worn and was missing some stuff in the shoe, the manager refused to help me. After the cashier asked the mgr twice and she still refused to even give me a couple of dollars off so I walked out. I guess they didn’t need my business. I even told them I was going across the mall to buy elsewhere.

I’m a strong believer in «You get what you pay for» and this store really sums up that motto. Payless is cheap shoes, hit and miss customer service, boxes strewn about the store and very little selection of quality shoes in my size, or my bride’s size, or my daughter’s size. If it tells you anything, we left without buying anything or settling for what they had on the shelf.
