Lee’s Hardwood Floors Inc

Lee’s Hardwood installed new hardwood floors last week in our living room. They did a fantastic job. The price was very reasonable. All the people we worked with were great (from the estimator we originally met, to the office staff, to the actual installers, sanders, and guys who stained/​poly-​ed the floors). The communication was great, they showed up when they said they would, and answered all our numerous questions. And the finished product looks amazing!

After Lee’s Hardwoods charged my credit card for my $ 1,500 deposit, I was advised I had to sign paperwork releasing them from any and all damage they may do to my home while re-​sanding and finishing my floors. I did not sign the paperwork and they cancelled the job saying they will refund my money with a «check in the mail». Examples given to me by Tina Lee: If a guy puts a handprint on wall that won’t wipe off, they will not be responsible for repainting the wall. WHAT? Yep, that’s right. I would have to pay for their damage to my walls when they’re coming to restore floors? In this case, I would have to pay to paint the entire downstairs and stairway because they can’t keep their hands off the walls or other sloppiness. At no time during the sales process, and certainly not before they took my $ 1,500 deposit, did anyone mention that small little detail.

Just got new hardwood floors installed replacing run of the mill builders white carpet. Lee’s Hardwood Floors did an amazing job. The entire staff that worked on my home were personable, knowledgable and efficient. The dust containment system they use is very effective. Bottom line… my floors look amazing. I would recommend this company to anyone in the area — have already informed my entire neighborhood on FB! Thank you to everyone at Lee’s for making my house beautiful!

The best flooring selection in the Triangle with the most knowledgeable staff. They are helpful, explained everything to me and knew their stuff. Daniel was completely honest with me concerning what to expect. The other two companies I talked to breezed through the estimate and didn’t tell me nearly as much as he did about how my old floors would look after refinishing. He set my expectations realistically and I really appreciated that. All the installers are employees and they are really good. From start to finish, the job was handled professionally. I won’t tell you it was easy — finishing floors is a big undertaking — but I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I have used Lee’s Hardwood Floors 2 times. Both times they were fast and efficient. When I hired them the 1^st time, I felt like they were the most knowledgable about what my needs were as compared to the other estimates I got. The 2^nd time I hired them was years later to extend what they had already done as well as MATCH color to existing hardwoods. Color matching is very difficult to do when floors were installed 3 different times years apart. They do excellent work. I’m now in my 3^rd house in 6 years and when I’m ready to make changes here, I’ll be calling! :)
