I was very dissatisfied with Dsparada’s staff’s customer service. I called to schedule an appointment and clearly told the receptionist I wanted to get my hair colored and highlighted(which typically takes about 3 hours with my hair being very long) and I made it clear to the receptionist that my hair is very long. So I was asked to come in at 12:30 that day and when I got there, Dan was going to be my stylist and when I explained to him what I wanted, he said he did not have time to do all that today!!! I drove all the way for my appointment to this place just to be told he did not have time because he has another appointment at 1. I don’t understand why they would only schedule me for half an hour for what I wanted done. Dan said he was going to ask his manager what to do about it. But I was not going to waste my time and my money at a place which I was not even sure how my hair was going to come out especially if he did end up doing it in a hurry!!! Very poor customer service!

New to this area and been very worried to find a hairdresser like mine back home. Well, just left salon and I couldn’t be happier! I have found a place that not only is welcoming but perfectly matched up my color, covered some straggly grays in the process. My hairdresser John was very attentive, asking all the right questions and made sure to give me EXACTLY what I wanted. About same prices as back home, BUT better quality products used. Usually my scalp burns whenever I get color. Not here! I was totally comfortable, no ammonia AND only sat for 15 min for color. I wasn’t expecting to be at salon for 3hrs but it was worth it. Every moment was spent on me and the final look was perfect! Décor is cool too. Very modern. Mirrors look like vaginas to me but that’s me… lol I also liked that in 2 – 3 weeks if I see any grays they have an «express color» appt available(basically root job for $ 30.) that’s awesome. Believe me, I’m a nervous Nancy with trying new places but if your willing to spend money for great hair, this is the place. If not, stick to local Hair Cuttery and cross your fingers.

My wife’s been going here nearly two years. I’ve been going here for nearly a year now, based on her results. Both Jen(our stylist) and Don(the owner) know their stuff. If you spend more than five minutes talking about hair and product with them, you realize it. My hair is the bane of every stylist I’ve every been to. It has horrible cowlicks that appear everywhere, without warning. Consistency of cut has also been an issue for me in the past. We’ve all been to places where they get your hair perfect once, and spend the next four visits trying to figure out how they lucked into it. That isn’t the case here. At this point, they’ve tamed my hair into something manageable and consistently stylish. My wife opted to go with a non-traditional color with her hair, and the expert advice of both Don and Jen has turned her hair into the subject of non-stop compliments. Random strangers stop her in stores and ask her where she gets it done. Coloring hair is an art and a science, and the folks at dsparada have mastered both. I recommend them without reservation.

I went one time right after it had changed over to a DS Parada. The stylist was trying to match the highlights in my hair and ended up matching the faded color and not what had originally been done by another stylist, even with her notes. I ended up leaving looking like a raccoon or a skunk. It was about 2 weeks before my sister’s wedding. I cried every time I ended up looking in a mirror.

This is by far the WORST hair salon I have ever been to. I have just moved to the area and I searched for a decent hair salon for a long time. I came across DSPARADA and I thought I give it a shot. So many things went wrong that I don’t even know where to begin. First off, the owner, has just recently FIRED all his staff. So I made an appt to go there 3 weeks ago. When I got there, they had no idea I had an appt. because apparently the stylist that he just FIRED stole all the client list and took it with him. They did not as much as apologize to me, they just said well Edward was fired and he stole the client list. I had an engagement to go to, and had to get my hair done. After arguing with them for 10 minutes, the only one person who works there the owner, said he will do my hair. He basically just put my color on, and his NEW assistant who really had no clue what she was doing did everything else, including putting my toner on, washing my hair, blow drying and styling it. She had no idea had to put the toner on. She did a horrible job as far as blow drying my hair, and believe me I have straight hair, it does not take much to fix my hair nicely. She had NOCLUE what she was doing. I was soooooo frustrated and stressed out. And then I was given a bill for $ 200…They had charged me for a hair cut(which I didn’t get) and also charged me the most expensive rate, because the owner did my hair. The funny part is that he DIDN’T. The worst part is the whole time I was there this guy complained about his staff and how they were horrible and how he is the best, and he had to fire everyone… He was so UNPROFESSIONAL. I have never experienced anything like this before. STAYAWAY from this place.
