Great shop for inexpensive jewelry, and accessories. Their clothing is cute but does not come in any larger sizes. That is a problem given not everyone is a small. I would like to see them expand their sizes. Best thing about the shop is it is color coded so if you need something in a certain color it is all grouped together.

I don’t usually visit this type of store but was tagging along with my wife and daughter. I’ve never seen so many accesories to dress up the ladies and in almost every color imaginable. I picked up a couple of ideas for gifts for Christmas, so it was worth following them around. Bracelets, necklaces, boots, scarves, earrings and lots of other things I didn’t even reconize. A very sassy store…

I’m not much of an accessories girl. I often forget to even put a pair of earrings on. But I appreciate how other ladies jazz up their outfits with a remarkable item or two. Enter Rocio L and Amanda H who were sporting some sparklies and raving to me about Charming Charlie. Happened to find myself on that side of town this weekend, so I swung in for a gander. Woah. I was expecting something like a Claire’s for adults(which it is**), but was not expecting the real estate of this place. It’s huge! Even being«not much of an accessories girl» I spent about 40 minutes in here, combing each of the aisles, wanting to be sure I didn’t miss the perfect little piece. Everything is color-coordinated, but the designs aren’t necessarily repeated. So each table houses a different array of goodies. On top of the expected jewelry and handbags, there’s some clothing, hats, shoes, and belts. Also tchochkes like lipstick cases and bejewled compact mirrors. The quality varies. Some pieces, I thought, looked close enough to what you might see at White House Black Market; but others looked and felt cheap. The prices are excellent, especially if you’re going with a trendy item that you may not wear after this year(I’ll be sad when it’s no longer kosher to wear my one-sided feather earring!). – **There’s also a section for girls that’s rather large in itself.

If you read Rocio’s review, then just know… ditto!!! I walked into this place and heard harps and angels singing! This is my idea of HEAVEN! I grabbed a basket and began my venture around and was greeted by a sales associate who said, «I was going to ask you if you needed help but you obviously have been here before. You look like you are at home». I said to her, «honey, I’ve never been here but I am definitely at home!» Like Rocio said, everything is organized by color you you could literally have an idea of an outfit you want to accessorize, go to that area and get your necklace, earrings, bracelet, hat, shoes, and much much more! In a perfect world where money was endless, I would get dressed and just stop by Charming Charlie’s and accessorize and go about my day. The best part of it all? ITISSOOOOOOAFFORDABLE!!! I filled my basket with all sorts of jewelry, walked out spending a little over $ 100(don’t tell hubs) and counted 14 pieces! 14!!! You cannot beat that!!! Just try to keep me away from this place… just try!

As a costume-jewelry-crazed gal, Charming Charlie is my idea of heaven. The first time I walked into this place, I spent over an hour going from stand to stand, gawking at all of the different pieces. They have everything from earrings, necklaces, bracelets, headbands, belts, purses, to shoes… and the list goes on and on. The store is arranged in what they call a «boutique» style. Each little island display is separated by color(i.e., light blue, purple, green, fuschia, silver, gold, etc.). It is overwhelming at first as you try to take in all of the amazing accessories. But the enormous selection isn’t even the best part — the prices are a steal! Earrings are between 7 and 10 dollars, and the same price applies for necklaces and bracelets. Purses are a bit higher, but given the cute styles available, they are still a bargain. I will note that the inventory is not always the same. If you see a piece you are in love with, don’t make the mistake of walking away because if it is the last one, they may not carry it again. The next time you need to jazz up an outfit for a girl’s night out, special event, or dinner out with your honey, stop in and check out Charming Charlie. I know this shop is going to be trouble with a capital ‘T’ for me!
