Spending the night with the sloths was a dream come true as they have been my favorite animal for most of my life. Feeding the lemurs, monkeys, and penguins was just the cherry on top. For the most part I was amazed with this place.

Even though I’ve been waiting over ten years to see a sloth, somehow the Sloth Center was able to exceed all of my expectations. I had an amazing time and 12 hours later my face still hurts from smiling so much. I’ll definitely be visiting again sometime over the summer. I did the sloth sleepover and I was in the same room as 10 sloths that are much more active than you would think. Thanks for everything and see you again soon my sloth brothers!

While the sloths themselves are quite spectacular and that part of the experience was fantastic I had to rate it low because of the horrible interactions with the manager. We arrived without our printed waivers and had to sign them there. We were informed there was an extra $ 10/person charge because we did not bring them with. This is in addition to the $ 100/person we had already spent for the one hour experience. Our guide was super nice. I would have liked a bit more information about where the sloths came from, ages, names, etc but she was very personable and sweet. Out of the 10 sloths only 4 interacted with us and we were told this was a rare and active day!!! Seems like if they are more active at night or morning maybe the tour should be geared towards those times? After our experience we decided to have a conversation with the manager about the extra charge because we did not understand the argument for it. This is where it went downhill. The manager was about as mean and rude as anyone I have ever encountered. We were just looking for an explanation and after spending $ 330 a little bit of professionalism and respect would have been nice. I have seriously never encountered someone so nasty with such a horrible disposition. And for that reason alone I will NOT be recommending this experience to others.

A fabulous experience that we will never forget! I learned a lot, and the hostess is wonderful and shows a lot of care for all her animals.

I don’t think there are words to express how awesome our experience at the Zoological Wildlife Conservation Center was. I found this amazing place by Googling«Sloths in Oregon.» After wading through the requisite news articles about lazy hipsters, I hit the jackpot. Myself and three girl friends(all of us are«adults,» in our late twenties) could not wait to visit the sloths. We weren’t sure what to expect, but we knew we could pet and feed the sloths, so that was all that mattered. As soon as we pulled up, we were greeted by licks and tail wags from Adonis, a Great Dane who is literally taller than me. We knew right off the bat we were in for cuteness. We paid $ 25 to take a tour of the center(which is actually part of the family home and property) and to pet and feed the sloths. We expected to walk around and look at some animals in cages and then go in with the sloths – we were in for an awesome surprise. Kelliee and her daughter Tessa took us around to visit all of the animals who live outside, introducing them all by name and giving all sorts of fascinating details about the residents’ stories so far as well as notes about their species. We met lemurs, monkeys, a bobcat, hyacinth macaws, porcupines… the list goes on. It was amazing. But that was just the beginning. Then we went in and met the sloths. They were even cooler than we had imagined. We learned so much from Kelliee. She also operates a research facility that observes sloths in the hopes of extending and optimizing their lives in captivity, so she knows her sloths. She really loves all of the animals she works and lives with and it shows. After the sloths it was time for a meet and greet with a menagerie of cuddly critters. Too many to name. We were in cute overload. Long story short, if you are an animal lover and you are looking to get up close and personal with these amazing, exotic fur friends you should visit this place. We can’t wait to go back!
