Huddle House

Great location, too bad the service was horrible and the place was as dirty as a rest area toilet.
The employees talked about how disfunctional the management and owners are the whole time I was sitting in the place. One of the managers breezed in and breezed out. Never checked to see how disgustingly dirty the food prep and grill areas were.
Obvious from the employee comments and the shape the place was in that the owner doesn’t visit their investment with any regularity. Looks like I’ll be using McDonald’s next door while I’m in town.
Huddle up? Not at this location.

My daughter and I stopped by for a quick, hot breakfast on a cold morning. The server did not say hello, introduce herself, good morning, kiss my butt, nothing… just…“What do you want to eat?” Really!!! For fear of receiving brown water to be passed off as coffee, I ordered a sweet tea. It was fine but we were never offered any refills and despite my efforts to grab someone’s attention, no luck of the server refilling the drinks. The food was ok. We both ordered biscuits with gravy, sausage and eggs. It took over 30 minutes to get our food. While waiting for our food, our server was searching for things behind the counter and loudly complaining about coworkers, work conditions, etc. All of that should happen AWAY from customers. The server never came back to check on us except to bring the check. When I went to pay the bill, a different member of the staff was at the register. She did not acknowledge me for a few minutes then only to ask if I was paying with a card. After telling her I was paying with cash, she simply said, «OH!» and walked away. A few moments later, our ever so congenial sever (please note the sarcasm) pops in to take my money. It was our first and most likely last visit.

The last time I ate here it wasn’t too good. This place is going down real bad. My waffles and hashbrown were not that good and the customer service was bad. It took forever for my table to even order and receive our food. They had no clean silverware so I just asked to use the plastic. They need to hire more people at night. Servers and cooks. I do not believe I would return after this experience.

You would expect a kitchen that was visible to its guest to be on there best behavior? You would be wrong at HH. I can’t believe more people don’t get sick. If you use your hands to pull bacon from the fridge «wash them after». With eggs and pork don’t mess around. The only reason I ate my food is that it was platted by a different worker. Some folks had dirty bacon hands, plate there food. Watch out. I gave two stars because it was good, just not safe.

Waited 45 minutes. My boyfriends food had frozen shredded cheese on it. I NEVER received my food. We will not be returning to this restaurant. It used to be a very good place with nice people but it has gone downhill big time!

If your in s hurry this is NOT the place to go waited almost 45 minutes for my food AFTER receiving the wrong order coffee is Luke warm at best gotta do better…

This place is never consistent, sometimes the service is great and the food is ehhh, while other times the service is horrible and the food is good. The food is never more than «okay» though. I think the problem begins with a serious lack of decent management. That’s why it has closed down twice in the past. They should take note and do better.

Lack of breakfast options in area forced me here. But it’s surprisingly clean, friendly staff, and has good food at a fair price. Not the fastest place but that’s not bad really.
My gut grenade was not over salted which is a good thing for sure. Too many places put too much salt. With the bacon and sausage in my eggs no salt needed.
I’d come back.

My first time in a Huddle House. It’s like a «fancier» Waffle House, and although the food tastes better, the service is slower. My stuffed hashbrown, egg, bacon, sausage, gravy would have tasted a lot better if it didn’t have a nasty tasting cheese sauce on top of it. The kids had shrimp and fries and chicken tenders and fries. Their meals were better than mine. Wife had the pulled pork that was just okay tasting. Total came out to 31 bucks. I see no need to revisit.

Not bad for this area, the competitions is giving it a run for its $$, but it conveniently located and under renovation.

This is for my 4^th. visit near the end of October. Classic modern diner with an open menu for almost whatever you want, any time. I like the fact you can have waffles with your country fried steak. Burgers which were hot and tasty with fries or sweet potato fries were delish. This place gets busy so get in early or late. I’m not sure when this store opened? but it is good to see more places opening up closer to Radcliff. The economy must be doing well.

What happen to this place? It was so great until this visit. We arrived at 10.24 for a late breakfast, WE sat at a table for five minutes and no one acknowledged that we were even there. I had to get up to fine the waitress for that section. She was at the register taking phone in orders. She apologize for the delay and took our drink orders. The hot tea was nearly warm and she only half filled the coffee cup and never offered creamer or lemon. Long story short by 11.05 ordered food not delivered. Saw it sitting by the cook (.who was the manager) five mins before we left. Our waitress was stooped talking to another customer in another section, while our food got cold sitting on the counter. Headed for lunch at cheddars from there.
