ADDCOMMENT1SEPT2014: ESTABLISHMENTCLOSED, construction workers seen going in and out on some sort of remodel. We walked in and the place was deserted. The upside of this was that we could sit anywhere, so we chose a window seat so as to people watch looking across to the park. The light from the window revealed that not only was that table dirty, but so were all the ones around it. If in a desolate establishment they can not take the time to clean something I can see right in front of me, I shudder to think what the standards are out back.

Really good food. I’ve had Kung Pow, Orange Chicken and Udon noodles with Satay sauce and all were amount the best I’ve ever had(I’ve been to many Chinese over the years). Also the wings are good(heavy on whatever spice they put on Chinese wings that makes them good: many places skimp on this). The fried rice is real fresh tasting and luncheon specials can be had at night for a dollar more. Goods service also.

This restaurant takes the place of 5 Spices China Bistro that use to occupy this space. At least 5 Spices had some good dishes and demonstrated some skills in the kitchen. Why they didn’t take off more than it did is a mystery(aside from being in an office building). We tried Tung Long Garden last weekend with my parents., and what a major disappointment. It offers many of the standard dishes you’d expect at a Chinese restaurant — nothing distinct or memorable, unless you count all the empty fish tanks by the door. Are they merely decorative? More on that later. The blah menu wasn’t an issue, as my parents are old school. I’ll take well done standard dishes over terribly executed fancy dishes any day. Signs were already pointing to the«run away!» when we asked about 3 seafood dishes, none of which were available. I get the seasonality and limited quantities of some items, but all 3? And in a restaurant where only one other table was seated? So we went for safe dishes(like beef. pork…veggies…) and one dish of shellfish which they amazingly had(guess that explains the empty fish tanks…)! When the food came, we kind of all wished they were not available too so we would have had the chance to just walk away unscathed. Sadly, what came were very so-so dishes where the flavors and cooking were just off and not properly balanced — either slightly too sweet, too bland or not cooked with enough«wok hei» and generally lacking. The only truly good dish was our dish of veggies, and that should be something good chefs in Chinese restaurants could make in their sleep. The waiter who was so eager to get our order in kept coming back to our table waiting for us to make up our mind on dishes. I was half tempted to tell him it would be easier to tell us what they did have, then to wade through a 4 page menu with not all items even available. Poor experience, and definitely no intention of returning.

Just decent food. Not too bad not too great. Prices for lunch are pretty good though. I have to say if you are going to get Chinese food in Quincy center you can find better places.

This place rivals some of the best places in chinatown. I’ve been here for lunch, which was quiet. Never been here for dinner yet. Good traditional chinese food none the less

Worst delivery, and Chinese food, experience everrr. The guy on the phone was rude & impatient(was upset that i didn’t clarify sizes from the outset, though he hadn’t asked). The food was horrible when it arrived — We just finished & I already feel sick. Sweet & Sour Shrimp were large balls of dough & the Stuffed Tofu w/Shrimp Paste was just squares of cooked tofu. The photos on this site could not be further from accurate. We called the restaurant to let them know the soup had broken open & spilled all over the bag & the guy became upset, saying it wasn’t his fault & asking what«i expected [him] to do about it.» Super disappointed & frustrated that I spent so much here over the place I was originally about to order from. Do nooooot waste your money!

We ordered delivery from this place a few months ago, and it was some of the most disgusting Chinese food I’ve had in years. I could barely stomach a small serving, and I told my boyfriend that I didn’t even want the leftovers in our fridge, I threw them out.

The food here is good, I think it is probably some of the best locally in the Quincy area. So why do I give it two stars? The food is only worth getting if it is take out during the day. Never go here at night, and never eat in! The worst service. The place closes at 11pm on the weekdays and I was there with a friend at 9:45. During the dinner service we were repeatedly approached by the server if we were done eating. Now there was other parties dinning too and they were treated the dame way. So I asked the server what time they closed and he said 11. It was 10:10 and people are leaving and we ended up to be the last ones to leave. The kitchen staff was already dressed and walking out the doors. Then they started to turn all the lights off. My friend was appalled at the service. Both of us had never been treated like that in any dining experience. We could only speculate that they had a bad night or maybe the boss wasn’t in and the staff wanted to leave early. What ever it may have been it was wrong to treat any customer this way. Tung Long Garden have to fix them selves or they will just go right out of business.

Tung Long Garden is awesome authentic Chinese cuisine. The flavors are clean and the food tastes of fresh ingredients. It’s also much healthier than your traditional American Style Chinese. It’s like a taste of China Town right here in Quincy. Everything I’ve tried so far has been superb. I’m a pretty picky about Chinese food too…
