AWEFULSERVICE… The nice older lady behind the bar tried but was NOBUENO… The nachos apparently came out of the microwave! The waitress’s were nice and friendly but I will never patronage that spot again

The food was average but the atmosphere of the old building was very interesting and historically significant. Unfortunately the customer service was lacking. I felt like I was imposing when I ordered food. It is a place to have a beer with a friend and watch a little ESPN. It is not the go to and hang out place that it could be especially with the floor space it has available. I think the idea is to be like a Hooters or a Hot Shots type of place but they are missing the implementation, employee training, and the spirit of the full concept(Make the customer feel valued). I support riverfront initiatives such as this regardless.

Place blows. Slow service. Crappy attitudes. Not worth going down to river. I will do my drinking at the square. I tried to like this place three times and they are out!(Monday Night) usually there for business. No more.

Good bar food and great beer collection. All in all a good sports bar. Just like any other Tilted Kilt in the country. If you have ever been to a Tilted Kilt you know it’s not a family restaurant. So don’t expect this one to be one.

Was there around 3pm today. Got seated, menus and drinks pretty fast; but after waiting 25 minutes for someone to take our order we left. The really sad thing is that they were not busy. There was only about 10 customers. Will NOT go back and will NOT recommend.

I’m updating my review after my most recent visit and also dropping a star. The fact that I keep visiting this place and giving them negative reviews is starting to feel like I’m beating up on someone that has a mental disability. I have been to good Tilted Kilts in other locations and I really don’t want to see businesses fail in Quincy, but these folks seriously do not get it.

I’ve been trying to get to this place for some time now. I was kind of surprised that on the opening night of the NFL Season, this place wasn’t packed. Service was a tad slow, but our waitress knew the menu. Food was good, but maybe a touch on the expensive side.

We got there about 6:00PM on a Saturday night, only about 8 people in the place. One waitress started our order, and then another one took over. It took about 10 minutes to get a drink, we ordered the pretzel, as we thought it might be faster, it was not, that took maybe 20 minutes to get. The tea is good. We also ordered the Shepard’s Pie, it is hamburger, peas, a few carrots and mushrooms, in a sauce with mashed potatoes on top… not worth 10.00. The service is horrible. They must hire waitresses on their looks and not abilities or intelligence. Several times, waitresses tried to give us other people’s food, they are just clueless! While we were there, one couple was giving the manager a real piece of their minds… not sure what happened there… something about the food. Then another couple came in about 6:05, ordered, still about 8 people in the place. They still hadn’t gotten their food at 7:00 and had to leave for another engagement… they were not happy. The manager was giving all kids of apologies, explanations, etc… However, from other comments, seems like this is typical. As for the bill, we had a gift card and gave the waitress some cash to cover the rest of the bill, she shortchanged us 2.75…maybe she just can’t count. Oh, and they don’t have handicap parking, and steps… but I guess old people should not be going in there. Won’t go back.

This place is terrible. The staff was rude, the wait time was long with the restaurant being mainly empty. The manager was alerted about the issue and did not do anything about it. Her reaction was inappropriate and our table was not treated with respect. I would never come here again, and I do not recommend it.

As i write this review waiting for my check… If I could give them a lower star, I would. I don’t even know where to start. Every single worker here was absolutely incompetent with his or her job. Messed up orders. Had to go up to the bar to get our pop refills on our own. Can not operate a simple remote on the TV for changing the channels that I had to remotely with my phone. Cold food. I can become a fulltime stand up comedian and get my own late night show purely based off of the stories I can tell based off of my experience here. The one pro: the ranch was above average, but I did have to wait fifteen minutes for that and go up to the kitchen and get that on my own

If I could give this place negative stars I would. This was the absolute worst service I have ever received. Hands down. The servers are clueless and the manager could not be reached because he was ‘busy’. We waited over an hour for our food which all came out within a 20 minute window and was cold. They came out with only two trays at once(there were 15 of us) and came around multiple times with the totally incorrect meals. My burger had a very well done egg on top which I asked them to redo. It came out 15 minutes later after o had eaten my cold, extremely overdone burger. We had to go back to the KITCHEN to get ranch and basically serve ourselves drinks at the bar. We couldn’t have even sent any food back because it would’ve been an even longer wait and we weren’t confident they would even bring it out. One friend even called the manager directly while we were sitting there and he wouldn’t get on the phone. Horrible, horrible customer service. Clearly they hire waitresses 100% based on attractiveness and not on abilities or intelligence. I’m seriously in shock over the entire experience. We also came to a SPORTSBAR to watch a game on the Big 10 network and after asking several people they ‘couldn’t figure it out’ Stay away unless you would like to wait over an hour for cold, terrible food with the worst service of your life.

First time for dinner. Husband and I wanted to try it and see what the place looked like. What a waste of a Friday night. Ordered a couple of beers and a pretzel with cheese sauce. Pretzels were no more than what you would buy at the carnival. Ordered 6 wings and a Reuben. Never got them. 45 minutes later, left money on the table and walked out. Won’t be back… Don’t waste your time.

I’ve seen the Tilted Kilt around, but hadn’t ventured into one yet. It was what I expected. Mildly attractive woman servicing food and drinks with limited knowledge of the menu and an appeal to make as much money as they can in tips! They have a slew of beer on tap, but the bartender was less than helpful in selecting something. I ended up with a pumpkin stout. Im not much of a stout fan. They have some decent happy hour special. pint of fries — $ 2 or $ 3 and $ 2 sliders. Fries were fries. pulled pork sliders were nothing to write home about, but they served their purpose.

5−15−14 Went for lunch, ordered a glass of Cabernet, the bartender sent Chardonney, and argued that it was Cabernet. Ordered a margarita flat bread which consisted off tomato and cheese, without any basil or other seasonings. Service was poor, food average.

Stopped by Tilted Kilt today for lunch. This was my first time at this new Quincy establishment. Food was very good albeit the price tag was more than I like to pay for a cheeseburger. I had the Pub Fried Egg Burger with french fries and my lunch guest has the Black and Bleu burger and sweet potato fries. Service was adequate however $ 37.00 for a burger and soda lunch for 2 is outrageous in my opinion. The décor was fun and there were more televisions than I could count. I am sure it gets a fun crowd for game nights.

It’s a beautiful place the service was not good the girls were hired more for their looks lot of them are teenagers. There was a few gentleman sitting next to us having a good time the girls seem to enjoy hanging around the table and the manager cut them off at four beers and kick them out which was uncalled for. The girls jobs are too collect tips but my wife was not happy with the way they flirted.
