Worst ice cream I’ve ever had. Tonight was my 3rd(and last) time going because it’s close and after each time I’m like, «I must have just gotten a bad flavor because how can ice cream be bad?!» But nope, it’s gross. How a place can mess up ice cream is beyond me.

No gloves being worn. Band aid in my soft serve. Never going there again. Calling health department on Tuesday.

Getting mint chip and pistachio together in a kiddie cup $ 2.85 wasn’t the most aesthetically pleasing, but it was sure was pleasing to the taste buds! The Ice Box is an ice cream shop set within walls so you may place your order at the window from the comfort of the indoors. A couple of stools and a counter line the outer wall, but there are three picnic tables set outside as well. Prices for their hard ice cream are kiddie $ 2.85, small $ 3.70, and large $ 4.25. Prices for the soft ice cream are kiddie $ 2.65, small $ 3.50, and large $ 4. Plus tax. The ice cream was fine. Sounds like it is from Richardson’s. The raspberry lime rickey $ 1.75, however, was a bit of a disappointment, being more ice than anything else.

The icecream was good… the service not so good/rushed: didn’t get a cone or one of the two flavors I asked for because of this. It’s a great location right across from Wollaston beach so I would come again. If located elsewhere, I’d not return.

Slushies, Soft Serve, and so many different flavors of ice cream! We spend a lot of time here in the summer time. It has outdoor seating where you can enjoy your ice cream and look at the beach. and it’s cheap too with big portions! Be careful. a small is not so small! I’m not complaining.

Great, cheap soft serve and others. Also has«water ice»(Philly speak for slushies).

What’s not to like? Richie’s Slush, Frozen Yogurt(including Coffee Toffee) and Ice Cream. I thought the prices were fair.

Oh my gosh — Richardson’s Ice Cream on the south shore! I grew up on the north shore of MA and loved going to Richardson’s in Middleton for their delicious ice cream. I now live in Quincy, and The Ice Box is my go to for having delicious Richardson’s ice cream close to home. The portions here are huge! I’ve ordered a kiddie for myself and it’s more than enough. The smalls have 3 scoops of ice cream! Stop by here for a delicious treat after walking on Wollaston Beach.

We came to the Ice Box after trying Tony’s Clam Shop. It’s a refreshing treat on a summer day. The servings here are huge! For a small you get around 3 scoops of ice cream so I would recommending picking two flavors. I tried the pistachio and cake batter flavors. There were a ton of pistachio nuts and the cake batter had huge chunks of cake. I liked the cake batter flavor a lot! The prices were reasonable and the portions were generous.

Walking along Quincy Shore Drive, we came across The Ice Box. The workers are extremely friendly and are not hesitant to give you samples of any flavours. Be aware that the portions are bigger than they sound. The small is two huge scoops. So, from that, I’m assuming the kids size is one scoop and the large is like four… A wide range of flavours to choose from! I’ll be back one day!

Well, whattaya know?!? The clam box’s ice cream spot is no longer located along the side of the restaurant. It now has its own location, and its own name! Nice. I ordered a kiddie sized lemon slush. Richie slushies are always good, so I won’t comment on the taste. But, I will comment on how it was scooped out. In lumpy bit and pieces. It made it particularly difficult to eat. Pieces of slush kept falling out of my cup. And in my book, it’s a grave sin to waste slushie. Not good… not good at all. On the flip side, there was little to no wait, the staff was kind, and there was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I’ll be here again. I’m sure of it.

The Ice Box is where Johnny’s used to be, right next to the Clam Box. Yummy flavors, good portion sizes, and happy staff! *hint* if you eat at the Clam Box ask them for $ 1 kids cone cards. When youre done eating head next door to get your $ 1 cone!
