South Shore Dental Prosthetics

It pains me to say this, but for a 40 year old man I am a HUGE BABY. The inescapably, but RATIONAL fear of pain and the sound of the drill have caused me to avoided the dentist for the past eight years. Until a horribly cracked tooth forced my hand earlier this week, there was nothing in this world that could have dragged me to one.
That said, like all matters in my life I turned to the people I trust and respect in times of necessity. For the past two years I have been lucky enough to have DR. Katarina Pavlicic as a client of mine and felt comfortable seeking her advice as the pain mounted and the need for treatment became unavoidable. Surprisingly, on her vacation, she took my call and was kind enough to listen while I whined on and on. She gave me many suggestion and solutions on dealing with the pain with the bottom line being that I could see one of her recommended colleagues, or wait and see her in two days.
I chose the latter and have been thrilled I did so. From the moment I arrived and was greeted by Rene at check– in, to the dental assistant Ellen’s amazing way of being comforting and funny I was put much more at ease than I expected. I relaxed and put my trust in Katarina. Before I knew it, I was walking out the door. It was not painless, but it was nothing like I had feared and I will definitely be back for continuing treatments. (NOT RUNNING BACK, BUT WILL BE GOING)

I have tried several dentists in the area over the past few years and have finally found a keeper… Dr Pavlicic is a true professional. She is gentle, talks you through everything and has a warmth about her that instantly makes you as a patient feel at ease. Highly recommended!
