I have purchased several pieces from Rogers over the years and always found them to be helpful and friendly. The selection is excellent and the prices cannot be beat!!!

We’ve been going to Rogers Jewelry for over 13 years, ever since my husband purchased my engagement ring from them. Even though we’ve moved out of Quincy, we still go there to buy any expensive pieces and even to do watch repairs. Jeff knows his stuff and doesn’t try to upsell or pressure you into purchasing anything. I’ve been to other jewelry stores nearby, including the big box stores, and there’s no one I trust more than Jeff.

I’ve found my forever jeweler. We had a wedding band emergency(bought a band from a well-known big box store and it was impossible to use with my antique estate diamond engagement ring) and, 6 days before the ceremony, Jeff found a perfect band, had it delivered, had someone put 14 diamonds in the band, and I picked it up in stunning condition. He was thorough with diamond types, ring options, and pricing. He was kind, passionate about his work, and willing to make the seemingly impossible a reality. My wedding was a complete dream come true and I want to thank Rogers Jewelry in Quincy for being a part of it! It’s the small, special things that make it such a fantastic memory for myself and my new husband.

Purchased an expensive ring($ 500+) from their website almost a month ago. Never received the ring, still have not received a refund, and am having difficulty getting any assistance resolving the problem. Online buyers beware! Addendum(1÷20÷12) — After pursuing a dispute resolution through PayPal, I was able to receive my refund in full. I am still very disappointed in this experience and with the lack of communication on the part of Rogers Jewelry.

I got engaged this weekend. I love my ring more than words can say. L bought my ring online and it’s a little big. Obviously I can’t bring it to where he bought it so I went across the street from where I work to Roger’s. I had sold some gold there in the past and had heard good things. I walked in the store and Roger was helping a customer. Two other women who I assumed were customers were hanging out in front of the cases. I stood and waited to be waited on. One of the women who I thought was a customer said«hi». I said hi back and then realized she worked there(no name tag, anything to imply this). She said nothing else so I said I was there to get my ring sized. She sighed(fairly loudly) and walked behind the counter. Again just stared at me. I assumed she needed the ring so I took it off and put it on the counter. She put it on a sizer and again, sighed! The whole time she was shaking her head back and forth. I was very confused and very uncomfortable. I couldn’t tell why she was so disgusted that I wanted to have my ring sized. Finally she lets out a big sigh and says«you’re sure you don’t want to get this sized where you bought it»? I explained to her that it was bought online so that wasn’t possible. She yet again sighed and handed me a a band to try on saying it was a 6 ½. I tried it and felt it was a little tight. I told her I would like to try a 7. She actually said«your making a mistake. the band is thin and you will lose it». I explained to her that my fingers tend to swell but she again sighed and shook her head. She then took out a envelope to write on and said«that will be $ 63 dollars». My head was spinning from this awful experience and I said«I’m not sure if that’s a good price as this is the first place I’ve been» she then said«I really couldn’t tell you». I said«thanks I’m going to check around». She walked away and I walked out angry and disappointed. Not sure if it was because I didn’t buy the ring there, I was only spending $ 63.00 or that it was close to lunch time but that woman was horrible. I’ve never been to a local place that has lacked completely in customer service. Maybe at Kay’s or Zales’ or a chain, but never a local place like that that depends on local patrons. It’s really disappointing. I sincerely hope that Roger sees this review and corrects the problem with Customer Service. I would so much rather give my business to a local shop then some place at the mall but looks like that might be where I’m heading.

The cusomer service and quality was above and beyond! I brought in my grandmother’s ring to be restored and it looks better than ever! They respected the fact that my ring had immense sentimental value to me and were less concerned about making a «big» sale and focused more on my happiness. I had been to other jewelry stores where it was VERY clear the workers were on commission and this was not the case at Rogers. And because of the service and selection, we ended up purchasing our wedding bands there as well. We will definitley be back and passing along the word! I’d rather give my business to local honest people than chains that are just out for a big sale. Thanks Rogers!
