Goodie’s Mini Mart

I am a firm believer of exceptional customer service and Goodie’s mini mart is a far outcry ! Although, a very convenient place to grab a quick lunch and the necessities. I would rather take the few minutes walk down or across the street to any other store. The ‘manager’ (older gentleman) is rude and unjust — and if there is no price on an item, (BEWARE) he most likely will create a price that fluctuates day to day (depending on his mood and if he ‘likes’ you). The woman in the deli lacks the concept of what it means to be courteous and friendly. If you want a sandwich make yourself known because she will not acknowledge your presence or express that she will be with you shortly (even being the only person in line). Gave this place a try many times and it always renders subpar. Good Luck!

I work in the building so having a mini-​mart is really handy. In addition to all the mini mart staples (candies, energy bars, soft drinks), they do also make sandwiches and scoop ice cream here. Oh yeah, and they sell beer and wine to boot.
If you need cash to pay for the building parking, Goodie’s also has an ATM inside.
Personally I’ve never had the food here, but I’ve heard it’s decent — I’d get food here except I can’t get over the persistent slightly-​chemical smell in this place. I really wish that would clear up.
The owner and staff are all very friendly and nice, which I always appreciate.

Convenient and clean. They have those little essentials that I need to pick up as I’m walking home from the train. There are no real convenient stores in Quincy Center so this is a treat for me. I don’t have to go back out after I get home from work if I just stop here on my way home.
THey have scooped ice cream in the summer and a deli dept during the day. Snacks, ice cream and even beer and wine! I recently quit smoking but their cigarette prices are competitive. Fresh fruit and yogurts make it an easy place to pick up healthy items for my lunch on the way to work also. Newspapers and magazines and a lottery counter. I wish they were open later. The staff is friendly and it’s always clean. Never a line and they take credit cards, unlike the store at the train station. What more could you want from a quick stop convenience store?

Goodies has many «goodies» that you cannot find at other convenience stores like:
* home made ice cream
* a small but well stocked deli counter
*beer and wine
They have a «larger than usual» selection of snacks, sodas, and candy/​gum.
The employees are nice and the store is clean and tidy.
Goodies is located inside of an office building — President’s Place in Quincy Center. It has it’s own entrance from the street and you can also get to it from the main entrance to President’s Place.
