Curry is a locally owned hardware store that has been in business for many years, I’m guessing at least 50. This is a store that when the big box store moved in just down the street they didn’t miss a beat and just kept doing business. I have never seen a team of people more focused on customer service in any industry as the Curry team is. I will be a customer forever

I bought an older car. It came with two keys, one slightly smaller than the other. I assumed they were one for door and one for ignition. I went in to make copies and the kid working(18 at the oldest) looked closely at them and suggests I go make sure that they aren’t actually the same key that performs all functions. Low and behold he was right. Both keys were identical, saving me the cost of two copies. That wouldn’t have happened at the Home Cheapo. In 199something when the HD opened down the block there were many who thought it would be the end of Curry Hardware. It wasn’t. Some things in this world actually are the way they should be. And they have free popcorn on Saturday!

Nice neat store very helpful employees, but there prices are ridiculously high. From one ace hardware to this one a gallon of Benjamin Moore paint is $ 12.00 more. I like to support local businesses rather than big chains. I will not be shopping for anything in Curry again. I could see a couple or few dollars more, but not &12.00. Feel like I was robbed. Too bad because very nice people, helpful work there

I know blessed little about hardware. However, I always use Ace Curry Hardware. The people are all extremely helpful as well as knoweldgeable. I very recently came in looking for a week wacker. Ricky(the manager) took time to explain them to me, put it together, and even loaded it into my car for me, He took so much of he stress of the situation out of it for me, What a relief! Everyone has always been helpful as well as friendly. This is a much go to store for me. Everyone, without exception, is extremely patient and kind. They all know their stuff and go out of their way to explain everything to me. Kudos to the entire staff! Thank you so very much for all the assistance, kindness and friendliness which I always receive from them. It is so very much the slightly extra drive, Thank you all for your friendliness and support. I am much appreciative! Joanne M 7÷27÷15

I am completely inept when it comes to hardware & «fixing things up.» Then I got the idea to refinish my patio set. I went in to get some supplies and despite the crowd, was greeted immediately and was directed to someone who would help me pick up the items I needed(& to actually TELL me what to buy, because I had no idea). They provided instructions on the best way to sand and stain the furniture and did not try to «up-sell» or confuse me. Everything was organized, and the cashier was friendly too. Also, free popcorn! Great store.

If you are in the area and appreciate an old school service oriented hardware store stop in. This place has some of everything. The basement has the most organized selection of hardware on earth.

My neighbors told me that I could use their grill, but with tensions escalating recently, I decided to buy my own propane tank so that I can’t be accused of theft or a similar offense. So I drove to the usual places to get propane: gas stations, hardware stores, 7−11s. No dice. Then I started calling around. Since the world is nothing but people who neither answer phones nor call you back, nobody answered. And those who did stated that they had no propane tank. As always, however, Curry Hardware came to the rescue. They have about a million full propane tanks in the back for $ 52.99 new, and $ 19.99 swap. The even answered the phone on the first ring. The staff here is unfailingly nice, prompt, and helpful. And it is always full of grouchy know-it-all locals who, if you face with just the right demeanor, might even advise you on your plumbing problem.

Man, these poeple are fast, friendly and helpful. The kid at the register was new, I think, so he was having issues ringing us up but we’ve all been there, right? I’ll definitely return for more hardware needs.

They bend over backwards for service, all have good attitudes, but I question their decision not to carry«Ace Royal Signature» paint, top rated by a certain publication. In fact, they don’t carry any Ace paint at all, even though«Ace» is prominent on their signage, name tags, and mailings. They only have the hideously over priced Benjamin Moore. That being said, if you need a key cut, help finding a certain screw etc, it doesn’t get any better.

Although more expensive then the big box stores like HD and Loews you get what you pay for here and that is service the people here are very knowledgeable and know everything about your home improvement needs. It’s like stepping back in time when customers meant something to a business where they didn’t just see dollar signs but people friends and neighbors(yes they actually care!) I went just the other week to get a new shade for my bedroom I gave the employee the measurement she cut it per my specifications I took it home it was off just slightly I went the next day told them I was wrong which I was they didn’t even ask for a receipt they cut me a new shade right away no questions asked even though it was all my fault which I admitted to. I’d like to see that ever happen at any other hardware store. I’d pay the slightly higher prices here any day just for the amount of service you get.

I echo the positive statements others have written here. They are super helpful and friendly. The store is much more manageable than one of the big box stores. And sometimes free popcorn as well! I also get $ 5.00 coupons every now and then which is nice. For me going there is fun as opposed to Home Depot which is a chore. Feels like you have to walk a half mile to get a screw sometimes. That last sentence should be taken in a purely hardware kind of way.

Have been going to Curry Hardware for quite some time now(6 years) as it’s a great alternative to the Home Depot down the street. What keeps me coming back is the great customer service experience! The only thing that I do not like is that they do not have extended hours — then I have no choice but to go to Home Depot :( P. S. Love that they carry Benjamin Moore paints!!!

I’ve brought my dyson vacuum here to be repaired a couple of times. They got it working, but it never really worked perfectly. They’re pretty good at servicing customers. Not a large store and may not have everything you need, and a little on the pricey side, but overall a nice option to Home Depot.

This is a great store with customer service that can’t be beat. Today I walked in and for 11 cents(price of one screw) they solved my door knob problem in a few short minutes.

Been here only a few times because I usually forget to go here instead of HD! A year ago I needed a mouse trap and was perusing their options. An employee came right up and discussed them with me. He said the electronic one was raved about by customers. It looked clean and easy to use. Was $ 20 or so. I bought it. A year later I am sooo grateful he suggested that!!! I apparently only had 3 little field mice then to kill. Trap worked great! 1 year later, same battery in it, same peanut butter bait, my new-ish dog is alerting me to it. I check it. Fresh dead mouse-first in a year! I never would have thought this gimmicky looking thing would actually work so well! So thanks, Ace, for telling me it was so good!

Good store, good customer service. Only negatives are that they only carry BM(Benjamin Moore) paint and have a limited selection of hardware(like door/cabinet knobs/handles).

Best hardware staff in the state. It may not be the biggest but it is truly better than any box store. They will order any thing for you. My only complaint is I just wished they had longer operating hours.

This is the best hardware store I have been too. I walked in today and they welcomed me with a smile and great service. If you hate going to home depot like I do and value employees who actually care about their job and helping you then you should go to Curry ACE! Its also a good spot for propane refills!
