Usually lean upon family or friends for airport rides. But this time our group was 9 people(including a toddler) and 9 peoples’ worth luggage to/from airport. too much to ask anyone for rides – would need at least 2 minivans each way, so we hired a van. It’s not cheap to do so, but we found Sterling. Everything went extremely well, and I would not hesitate to use again. Booking Process Smooth, no problems. Dealt with Vincent(owner?) most times. The only hiccup here was that my impression was that a 20% service charge was a gratuity for the driver. Nope. Driver Gratuity is extra. Not a big deal because of the price we got(see«value» below). Cleanliness: Overall, van was very clean. But we booked a car seat through Sterling also, for the toddler. It was somewhat unclean. We were ready for this, and had a blanket to drape over it for the little one. Driver: We had Russell both ways from LGA. Very friendly. didn’t have GPS the way back, so I had to direct him. But not too big a deal. value: I found Sterling via groupon, but didn’t book via groupon – I booked directly, but he gave me the groupon price. he did add a 20% service charge on top of it, but I think Sterling was still the cheapest around for what we got. Not sure what the non-groupon price would be. Would I use again? It’s not often that we have such a big family vacation, but if we do again, i’d call sterling.
