Royal Spa

I happened to pass by this place as I work right around the block. I was glancing at the ad poster outside of this place and the lady inside kindly invited me to take a tour inside. I really really liked how big and clean this place was and decided to give it a try on the weekend. I went today right after work for a basic facial and overall it was a so-​so experience. for the promotion price which is only $ 35 for a basic facial (usually 55) it wasnt that bad of a deal but i guess my expectation was too high. Because the spa itself was very nicely designed and def felt more luxurious than most spas in flushing I thought their service would be that way too. here are the things that they can work on. I dont know if it was the employees lack of English but the esthetician didnt really explain anything. I think I should know what type of cream or serum shes putting on and also how the procedure works. I only knew when she put the mask pack on because thats pretty much the only thing she explained. Even though I already have experiences of getting facial done from other places so vaguely know whats going on I would have appreciated the service a little bit more if I knew what she was doing exactly. Secondly, I think its very important that as its a spa I should feel relaxed and peaceful while getting the service. There was a child running around while I was getting my facial done and people (idk if they were employees or customers as I was hearing this from the facial room inside) talking loudly the whole time. It bothered me a little. Even if they were customers I think somebody should have warned them that there are other customers too so they should quiet down a little. Lastly I came home and checked my face and I see some of the blackheads still shown on my nose. Maybe I should have mentioned to my esthetician before the start that this was the part I wanted her to focus more but there was no consultation so I didnt have a chance. Facial was not much different from other places I have been to but took a little longer time than other places. Overall, I didnt necessarily had a bad experience here as the employees and the lady at front desk were all very polite and the place was nice and clean but it didnt not meet my high expectation. But for the promotion price I guess it was worth of a try. Who knows if I notice a huge difference of my skin tomorrow I might go back and buy their package. Package itself was a good deal too.
