First time trying this place out after moving into the neighbourhood. The prices were good and the employees were friendly but it took a long time to get my order. Overall, 3 stars. Food and service was average

This hurts me to give this place two stars. I’ve grown up loving this place. In the past, portions were generous and the food was amazing. The family that owned it prior to the summer of 2015 always remembered locals and were super nice. I used to order squid or any seafood pan fried noodles and each time the noodle to topping ratio was great. There would be enough noodles to classify it as a noodle dish. Also the wonton soup was amazing. But now let’s start with the new owners, the wontons are now bland, the pan fried noodles barely come with noodles(and was charged more for it), and the noodle soups tastes off. It’s come to the point where I usually go for the fries. A few weeks ago I ordered Hawaiian chicken for my boyfriend and we got this impossible to chew dark meat or over friend chicken. Some of the stuff that made this place five stars are starting to bring it down. However, there are still a few things that are still good with the place that makes it worth still going, like the chow mei fun, lo mein, and shrimp with broccoli. Honestly I was really close to giving this place two stars but I really do love the shrimp chow mei fun.

I’ve been a regular at Jingy’s, formerly known as China Taco House, frequently ordering beef with veggies on lazy Saturday afternoons simply due to the convenience of the location and portion size. I’m sorry to say, but goodbye Chingy. After trying Happy Fortune I can confidently say I will be a regular here indefinitely. The Chinese lunch specials are outstanding given 2 dishes per order, higher quality of meat(might not be real chicken, but it tastes good), and super large portions. A smile from the cashier, a bonus. Granted health is out of the concern with MSG soaking the meal, but what Chinese restaurant isn’t filled with MSG? I ordered Chicken/Broccoli and Chinese BBQ pork with white rice and wonton soup. I was surprised how heavy the to-go bag weighed, more than my Friday night groceries. I unpacked the cargo as soon as I got home and dived in and instantly tasted the difference in quality. Each item was separated to its own compartment,(mixing the items taste better), the broccoli was not soggy, chicken glazed with oyster sauce, pork not too dry, and rice cooked fresh. Thumbs up. I’ll be back.

We order for delivery here on occasions because the food is what one expect at a normal local Chinese takeout restaurant. The food is not bad nor is it great. It’s one of those places that serves my Lo Mein the way I like it not too soft and not too firm. The way I like it is overly soaked in soy sauce and they don’t make it greasy. Their Lo Mein is flavorful. The right texture and the right size. The only gripe is that the«Lobster» Lo Mein is not really Lobster, it’s Crawfish. If one calls it Lobster at least one tiny piece chopped up and thrown can be considered Lobster Lo Mein but it’s all about 10 tiny pieces of Crawfish. The House Special Buffalo Wings came in 8 pieces(pretty much 4 whole wings chopped in half). The wings are a bit soggy but not in a bad way, meaty and actually tasty. It tasted similar to Tobasco sauce but in a thicker and there’s certainly an abundant amount of sauce. I could taste the vinegar in the«Buffalo Sauce». It was good though. It’s been a while since I could remember how their rice dishes are but from what I can remember it is also your typical Chinese style rice dishes. Other than that, the with every order delivered you get a clear bag with a pack of hot, duck x2 and soy x2 sauces with a napkin and plastic form. And a fortune cookie on the side. Maybe a soda too,(depends).

I love this place. The family is always here and so nice, the kids are adorbz, and they are all very welcoming and hardworking. The food is great, too. Best crab Rangoons ever! Getting my weekend fix as we speak…

This place is… strange. That’s the only way I can describe the food. Their broccoli in garlic sauce is so weird and doesn’t taste like garlic. at all! I can’t even compare it to anything. other than«chemically» and the smell is so potent. The General Tso’s chicken doesn’t taste right, either. Such a weird flavor. The pork fried rice has a grainy texture. I won’t be ordering from here again. So far, the best Chinese restaurant I’ve been to is Peking Express in Greenpoint Brooklyn on the corner of Nassau Ave. and Monitor St. They know how to make amazing food and their fried wontons are off the hook! Any place in Sunnyside that I’ve tried is so gross.

I have officially given up on decent Chinese food in Sunnyside. After reading the stellar reviews below, I was truly excited to try this place. I ordered chicken with mixed vegetables combination with fried rice and vegetable lo mein. I could not eat the chicken because it was mostly raw and basically just tossed in some sauce. My vegetable lo mein was one gigantic gooey clump. So disgusted by the food that I immediately threw it out and no longer have an appetite nor will I be craving Chinese food again anytime soon. Unilocalers beware!

ABSOLUTEBESTCHINESEINSUNNYSIDE/WOODSIDE! We tried them all looking for a good Chinese place but this place is best beyond all standards. The General Tso Chicken is actually fresh tasting and crispy. Only down side is you have to order without an online menu but it’s your standard fare so it’s okay but it’s amazing with taste and quality, no doubt!

Ate here twice based on the glowing reviews of other Unilocalers. I found this place to be exactly the same as all of the other run of the mill Chinese take out joints in the area. Nothing special, nothing different, nothing I would go out of my way for.

This is the best hole in the wall Chinese place ever. It’s like every other Chinese spot but with a twist. The Sweet n sour pork has a hint of citrus, the sesame chicken has a tang and the honey mustard chicken is to die and for. I can’t seem to find it anywhere else. I moved to brooklyn and still order from here and pick up. They are well priced and fast and no complaints from me.

Better than average, especially given the options in Sunnyside/Woodside for good takeout Chinese. Since they opened up I’ve had delivery twice from them. Fast, cheap and really good. Not greasy at all. I had the Buddhist Delight(vegetables and fried tofu in a light sauce) and also tried the Chicken with Broccoli which was very good. No extra charge for brown rice, either. And I liked that the lunch special worked on Saturday, too.
