THE BEST GENERAL TSO’S CHICKEN I’VE EVER HAD!
Seriously, you’ll love this place. The food is delicious. I was in the area working and grab a very affordable lunch special. The hot and sour soup was amazing. Egg Roll was tasty, and the General Tso’s is to die for. Check this place out!

Best boneless spare ribs and chicken with broccoli Ive ever had… the fried rice is excellent as well. Excellent customer service, fast, really fast accurate delivery in Astoria, decent prices and very clean.

In a place where there’s no shortage of Chinese takeout, this place exceeds expectations. Tried them a few weeks ago and the food was good. Went for a variety of dishes for a family night to go. They made it on the spot — and fast. They didn’t give me any grief about using my amex card — which was surprising. The price was very fair.
Something very interesting happened when I was in there which is worth mentioning — they were actually friendly to me and my son. Before you dismiss that, ask yourself how many Chinese takeout joints you’ve been to in NYC or anywhere else where they smiled at you and exchanged pleasantries? For me, just one other.

My wife and I stopped in for a quick lunch two days ago and I was very disappointed with what I ordered. The Wonton soup was very salty and over cooked, I tried to return it and get something else, the women behind the counter was very rude and instead of offering me something else she wanted me to pay for the soup. I left it on the counter and cancelled the rest of my order. This has to be the most disgusting chinese restaurant in Queens, my wife ate her meal but later on had indigestion the rest of the evening, upon leaving the restaurant she demanded the chinese noodles back, not only did I comply but also gave her the duck sauce and soy sauce packets and happily left her a penny tip.

I was disappointed with my order. I went with the recommended shrimp toast. Overcooked and bland! I had boneless ribs it had a lot of fat on it, their pork fried rice tastes sour. I tried their won ton it was sour/​rotten. Wasted my money, threw everything out after few bites.

Quick service and food is always on point. Their boneless spare ribs with extra sauce and wonton soup are my fav… Definitely the best Chinese food in Astoria.

Best shrimp toast of all the chinese places i’ve tried in the area. They actually used panko bread crumbs.
Off the beaten path so everything is just a bit cheaper. lower overhead for being in a plaza.

Why are there so many shitty Chinese restaurants? I really think at this point its just a clever joke orchestrated by some secret shadow government. Fortunately if you are in the Ditmars area, Dragon Gate isn’t apart of this conspiracy. Whenever I go I always see the same kind woman working the cash register with her daughter just chilling on the side. Food is ready for pickup in five minutes and delivery usually comes in 15 minutes. General Tso’s and Lo Mein never fail.
