LOVE their honey wings, chicken lomein and hot and sour soup. I try to eat healthier now so I try not to go there as often as I used to but their food is great. The lady remembers me and when I send my bf to pick up food for me she asks about me too. From a few places I have tried in the neighborhood this place is the best.

Wish I could give 0 stars. Seriously the rudest staff members ever would not even recommend this place to anyone

I have tried a bunch of chinese restaurants in the area, but Peking Restaurant is the impressive one. The food is always cooked properly. I did not get food poisoned here unlike two other restaurants in Queens. We used to go to one spot in Fresh Meadows. The prepared food initially was spot on. After our second visit. we had noticed the amount of oil that was leaking from the egg rolls… gross!!! Wifey and I said, «Fresh Meadows Chinese restaurants have nothing on Queens Village Chinese restaurants!» My recommendation. each time that you order. make sure you give Suki your name. She’s the best one you should order from… just to make sure you get what you order. She will remember the type of food that you usually get. Her memory is impressive. For example, the first time I had ordered vegetable brown rice with no mushrooms for my wife… on the next visit. Suki had remembered and was like«Oh yes. I remember you… you’re the one who didn’t like mushrooms.» On Friday and Saturday nights, the place is always packed with customers(which is good so that you know the food is constantly moving). Trust me. you won’t be disappointed. The fees are reasonable. When I visit a new chinese restaurant. I order either sweet n sour chicken, general tso or sesame chicken since I can tell the quality of the place as a whole based on how they cook those dishes. Here at the Peking Restaurant, when I ask for pineapples and green peppers with my sweet n sour chicken. Suki always says, «No Problem!». Unlike other chinese restaurants who tell me, «Oh no. there is no pineapples and peppers in that dish.» How can they tell me they don’t add that? I’m not going to have an argument in a restaurant about adding pineapples and green peppers in the sweet n sour red sauce. c’mon now. Definitely try this place. you won’t be disappointed!

I will always love this place the people have been here for years. Since I was a teenager we have been eating here. For Chinese takeout in the Queens Village area nowhere else to go but here everything you want is fresh. the staff is always nice and if you get something delivered and you don’t like it call them they will come pick it up and bring you whatever you want whether it be another entrée or your money back no questions asked.

Gave them a 4 star instead of 5 is b/c I don’t like the flavor they add to the chicken wings. Just moved to queens village from woodside so this place is very close to my house & pretty much my reg right now. Food is very good & delivery very fast. Overall is a good place to order from.

My son’s house is just 2 blocks away, so we call this Chinese-American place for take-out on occasion. Very tasty food, plentiful portions, prices lower than comparable spots in Flushing, with similar quality. We went to visit Grandma recently and brought her a selection, and she loved the chicken and eggplant. She’s 93 and fairly picky, so our compliments to the chef! Delivery is always fast, they get the order right, and service is with a smile. They’ve earned their high rating, and I’m pleased to praise this consumer-friendly establishment.

I am usually not a fan of Chinese food but when I am in the mood for amazing chicken and broccoli I go here. The place is very clean, the staff is very nice and they always remember you and your order. Their delivery is always on time and if you don’t like what you ordered they’ll really make it for you. I recommend this spot as the best Chinese food nearby.

Food is OK, super cheap and the delivery is amazingly fast. These guys stayed open after the hurricane when the area didn’t have power!

I went to Peking based on the really good reviews found on this site. Well, something catestrophic must have happened fairly recently because my experience was far different. I ordered a combination(chicken with garlic sauce), wonton soup, steamed vegetables, and an egg roll. The fried rice in the combination was so saturated with oil, it was like rice pudding. The egg roll had absorbed enough oil, I actually was able to drain 2 tablespoons of oil out of it. The broth in the soup was salty and tasteless, and the wontons had a «funny» flavor to them. The chicken with broccoli was swimming in a greasy, salty sauce that came very close to rendering the broccoli as inedible. How can you kill steamed vegetables? Oversteam them and serve them with another oil-based slick-on-the-top(garlic?) sauce. To add insult to injury, they forgot(and Chinese take-outs never forget) the can of soda that should have come with the combination. I should look at it on the bright side… they could have given me a second egg roll instead of nothing at all!!! On the bright side, I must say, they DO have one of the cleaner Chinese open kitchens I have seen. Too bad the food is so not good!

I love the food here between the general tows chicken *spicy with white rice or just plain chicken wings it’s seasoned with garlic or ginger I think it makes so tasty made hot fresh to order I love also their vegetable steamed dumplings. Or a big soup like the seafood mix soup I mean honestly anything here(I’ve had about everything) is still good my favorite-spot in Queens. They are must for me. I go so often the owner knows me and who I dating and when I break up ha ! And she tells me what I’m going order. She knows me well and my Comfort food! Also a super cute view is after school is done for the day you can see her two sons reading and doing homework in the tables in front. Just go so yum!

Great take out Chinese food! The woman who takes your order is friendly and very nice. She remembers our favorites even though we don’t order too often(once a month or so). The food quality is very good and always freshly made. We’ve tried many different items from their menu and It’s all very good for the price.

I am very picky when it comes to food; especially Chinese food. One of, if not my favorite dish is: Sesame Chicken. I don’t just like it any way; and honestly, this is the first Chinese food restaurant that actually satisfies my picky taste. The service is above average and has a cozy atmosphere; I’ve been a regular for the past four years. They are usually right on the money with my orders. I highly recommend this take-out restaurant!

This is definitely one of the better Chinese-American fast food joints. The food is fantastic. Chicken and broccoli FTW! Lo mein, fried rice, and I can go on and on. I’m addicted to the fried shrimp, which they make completely differently from other places: not too much breading and for some reason it’s pounded flat. The woman up front is really friendly and very honest! One time I forgot to take my change and I swear, this woman ran out and chased me down the block just to give me my $ 1! Now THAT is honesty! I ended up putting it in the tip jar the next time I went to buy something, because she deserved it :)

Peking Restaurant has been around for years. I would measure since the late 80’s/early 90’s. The food is consistent. It is your standard Americanized Chinese take out. I have tried almost all of the take outs in the area and I find Peking to be one of the better ones. Try the sesame chicken and shrimp toast if you are not on a diet.
