I’ve been here a bunch of times and missed Sun Luck from Park Slope but this is definitely the closest. I’ve gotten the healthy dishes as well as the not so healthy dishes and both are very tasty and well portioned. It isn’t in the greatest area in town but they do delivery rather fast and their delivery team is cordial. You have to try the spicy garlic sauce, it’s really good. I’ll continue to eat here(delivery/pick-up) regularly.

My family has been buying from Ha Bo since like the early 90s. They seem to have switched owners a lot over the years and quality has changed from time to time. In its present form, Ha Bo looks far more brighter and cleaner(they did some renovations some time ago) and it appears to be less dismal than it used to be. The food tastes okay, but not as good as it used to be way back. Recently I bought an order of Chicken and Broccoli. The nice part is that it came in a reusable plastic container(not one of those cheap styrofoam containers that are stapled shut). The bad part? Whenever I moved the container oil spilled out. Where there should have been brown sauce, was nothing but a pool of oil. When I tried eating it, the chicken and broccoli were practically swimming in oil… I mean I know takeout isn’t supposed to be healthy, but I never had that experience at any of the other Chinese takeout places in the area… Nevertheless, I do like the nice touch ups they’ve done to the place. It looks less like the crackhead hangout it used to be. Also, the woman up front is super nice :)

just a mediocre spot for me. some days, the food is really good. However, its not always consistent. I’m a lil concerned about their B-rating mainly b/c its hard to get a clear view of the kitchen… I hate the locale… ghetto hang-out spot in vicinity. They also need to work on customer service… about 2.8 stars… I’m giving 3 to be generous, but i will be watching em very carefully…
