Becker’s Corner

One of my absolute favorite restaurants. I have yet to order something here that wasn’t delicious. They have a great beer selection and bar as well as fantastic food and cakes. Previously a one-​room-​schoolhouse, the ambiance of the stonework room gives off very Haycock vibes. Perfect place to hit up after a day at Nockamixon.

Just ate here with my fiancé. Food was good and service was pleasant. Had the Texas petal burger. It was cooked perfect mid rare. My fiancé had the veggie quesadilla and liked it. My only complaint is the sloppy Fries barely had any gravy and cheese curd on them… other than that it was spot on!

Waited 45 minutes for a limited menu and an inflexible owner. After seeing a table empty for 20 minutes I had to tell the waitress we have been waiting for a long time and no one is cleaning that table! Finally, we got in and the menu was a joke. We had a discount card that the owner would not accept because we could not use it with the other couple we were dining with. I had enough and walked out never to return.

Went to Beckers and ordered roast beef with caramelized onion panini bread and it was on a ciabatta roll instead. It was too much bread for the amount of roast beef on it and it was dry. Yes I had to get the dipping gravy for an extra fee. But I was looking forward to my sandwich on panini bread not a dense ciabatta roll.
However, the steak dinner there was amazing.

They have a great beer selection, and some of the best burgers I have ever tasted.

The Crab cake sandwich was amazing, salad was very fresh possibly local vegetables. Nice whole in the wall in Quakertown. Would eat again/​10

Just stopped at Beckers on our way back from Nockamixon State Park. Our server Erin was very friendly and attentive. She picked up on the fact thay my fiancée is almost totally deaf and went above and beyond to make him feel comfortable. Plus, the food and drinks were great. Roast beef sandwich and au ju were amazing!

Great service, GREAT FOOD, great beer list! If you’re camping in the area do yourself a favor and stop here for lunch/​dinner.
Highlights: Texas Petal Burger and General Tso’s wings! Those wings are banging!!!

We love this place! Great food! Great beer selection! Wonderful people! We have brought our kids many times (3yo and 9yo), and they are always welcomed with crayons and coloring books. The food is phenomenal! My husband particularly loves their Ruben, and he won’t order a Ruben anywhere else! I’m a vegetarian and haven’t had an issue finding things to eat. (I do eat dairy and eggs) Their mozzarella planks are totally awesome! You will definitely enjoy your time at Becker’s.

The Texas burger is to die for. All types of flavors dance across your tongue as your brain tries to sync up and understand how can this local yocal place produce some great flavors! This is one place I will definitely return to!

It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but this is one of the best places around. Excellent beer selection, both bottles and tap. Nice local atmosphere with great food and a friendly staff. Kiersten, Kate, Erin, and Sheila have been there forever and are some of the best! They like to let you sample the beer and give great suggestions. I’m there almost every weekend for lunch.
If they have bread pudding, do yourself a favor and get it! If not, try the Dark Side of the Moon cake. You’re welcome!
They also sell bait, if you’re heading across the street to go fishing at Lake Nockamixon.

Big menu and good food! Everything is fairly priced and the service is good. Also, if you sign up on the birthday list (not sure if that’s what it’s called but) you get tons of coupons. I recommend trying a burger!

Best burger and fries ever! Friendly waitress, beautiful building with great landscaping. Good prices. My new favorite place in that part of the world. :-)

Food is great! I loved the fried banana peppers! The beer selection is great. Atmosphere is dark but inviting. The staff is friendly. Lots of interesting patrons to talk to– especially if you like fishing! ;)

Working in the area I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing what this place has to offer regularly for a bit. The food is excellent and consistent. Along with their selection of beers and specialty cocktails, it pretty much has something for everyone. Its one of those places that as a visitor you don’t want to miss and as a local has you wondering why you haven’t been coming here for years. The staff is friendly, attentive and you can tell cares about what they’re doing. The menu is fresh, inventive and delicious.
Seriously stop here if you haven’t already.

Best place I’ve been to in awhile. Great bartender. He really knew his stuff. Great wings and French onion soup. Selection of beer is outstanding.

A nice little spot near Nockamixon to swing by and have a drink and a meal. They have a great beer selection on tap, a bunch of local items, something for everyone.
Food has consistently been good. They could easily get away with doing the bare minimum since there isn’t really any competition for the day-​trippers to the lake, but I haven’t tried anything here that I didn’t thoroughly enjoy.
Service is prompt and friendly. The bar area has a cozy feel — it’s dimly lit but clean.
The only reason I chose 4 stars instead of 5 is because the bartender was weirdly pushy about joining their e-​mail list. When we said no, she kept going on and on about all the reasons it was great and it got awkward so I finally just filled it out, figuring I can just block the emails later.
That issue aside, we will definitely be back! The service, food, and craft beer selections speak for themselves :)

Can’t say enough good things about this place. It’s dive-​ish appearance on the outside is a little deceiving as the inside is very tasteful and cozy. I love the layout of the bar area also, really has that locals feel to it.
With few places in the Nockamixon area, I come here quite often. The food is always consistently good. Also, be sure to check out there specials, which change frequently. Oh and all of the burgers and sandwichs are always spot on. I can be a bit of a pain when it comes to ordering food and the staff here will always accommodate my requests, that alone is worth five stars. Wait staff is awesome as well. My waitress recently brought out the wrong order on my last trip in and took the order off the bill to compensate for the extra waiting time. Can’t remember the last time any dining establish has done that for me.
I’m not a beer drinker but according to my boyfriend there selection is pretty vast. Martinis here are always tasty and pretty large too.
Five star service and quality all the way!

Good, fresh, home made food. Great beer selection, cozy atmosphere. A little gem hidden away by Lake Nockamixon. Had the special jumbalaya. Very tasty.
My wife was pleased, so that is enough for me.

Last time we stopped in we were unable to sample their menu. This time we stopped with friends for dinner to have the full experience.
Overall, the venue is nice. It’s relatively small as a dining establishment, but holds people well.
They have a very solid beer selection here touting several microbrews and specialty cocktails, a big plus for this «middle of nowhere» bar and restaurant. Many of the visitors to Nockamixon State Park should find this appealing if they stop in for a cocktail.
They have a nice menu with a variety of appetizers and a reasonable selection of entrees. I had the opportunity to sample their spinach and artichoke dip and baked mozzarella. Both were enjoyable. The spinach and artichoke dip comes in a relatively small portion that will serve 1 – 2. Sometimes restaurants go overboard on how much of this appetizer they serve. The mozzarella comes with 5 pieces and a good portion.
For dinner, my girlfriend and I both had the filet of beef with crab meat. The dish is served with a side of fresh potatoes, but also included frozen vegetables. Our meats were both cooked to our liking and the portion of the steak is large for the price. The crab meat served on the steak is light. However, the sauce adequately compliments the dish. I’d recommend they ditch the frozen veggies, it was a real bummer on a plate that otherwise had good preparation.
Service was satisfactory during our visit.
Overall, this is a very nice place to dine and grab a cocktail. I’d make the trip again to meet up with friends and enjoy a nice evening out.
