I mean … what can I say about a bar that has swings for bar steating? FUN! sipping rum from a fresh cracked coconut EPIC! top that off with the namesake mojito !!! Wooo weee drunk janja, toes in the sand and random conversations with random cool people. GOODTIMES. A couple of tips, if you can’t afford to stay on Put-in-bay try to get a trailer at the campground close by. Dont bring your car on the fairy. From the fairy DONT rent a golf cart, you could walk faster and the shuttle bus is cheaper and way faster. Unless you want to tour the island yourself skip the cart, there’s no where to park and once you park it you won’t use it til you leave, so upwards of $ 200 to drive 10 mph for 3 miles just to park it and come back.

Hands down some of the SLOWEST service I have every experienced. People rate it high as being intoxicated and pretending you are on a beach skews true business operational judgement. We went twice over the wknd and BOTH times, left after one drink. No on these seems to care. Avoid it and go spend the cabbage elsewhere.

Really cool set up with the swings and sand atmosphere. They also had corn hole set up and a general«beach environment». The mojitos were good and a decent price at only $ 8. Would definitely come here again.

Alright I loved this place. Spent two nights in PIB for a bachelorette party last month and we hit this place both nights. It’s an absolute blast! It feels like you’re at the beach with the décor, sand and swings! I love it. The band was decent and the bartenders were fabulous. Extremely helpful, fast and nice. So great about splitting bills and making 18 shots lol. Seriously, if you are in PIB and looking for a good night, look no further! Can’t wait to visit this place if I ever make a trip back to the island. Thank you to the staff here!

I have only been to PIB two summers my entire life, but luckily those two summers were when I was an adult of legal drinking age or I would have missed this spot! The drinks here are fantastic. I think the place was established in 2010(or 2012?) so it is fairly new. Love the beachy atmosphere, tiki roof, open air feel, and sand under the toes! We were in PIB for four nights and I made sure to visit Mojito Bay on three separate occasions. The cucumber mojito is my absolute favorite, I also enjoyed the original and pomegranate flavors! We got to listen to live music on Tues, Wed, and Thurs night. Thursday was by far the most crowded night and I will probably not go back again on a Thursday since I loved the more quiet, laid back, and less crowded feel of the other nights. There are outdoor games(Jenga, cornhole) and cute adirondack chairs to sit in, too.

One of the worst mojitos I’ve had and I’ve had quite a few. Lots of club soda, not enough rum, lime or sugar. Atmosphere is good, good music. Not sure if they mix other drinks better, we were on a mojito bender.

Went to Lakeside Marblehead to see my old stomping grounds(I live in California now); took my husband to see where I grew up. I planned a trip to Put-In-Bay and wouldn’t you know that Mojito Bay was his favorite place! We spent a lot of time here and had a great time! The atmosphere makes you feel like you are truly in an exotic place and on a real vacation! The bartenders were awesome and made excellent Mojitos! Highly recommend that you check it out when you are there.

Do it get better than this in Ohio? I mean honestly… you have the sand in your toes, a band playing, swings as bar stools, cute lounge chairs. This is my go to place in Put In Bay. it’s so much fun and the drinks are amazing.

Great outside bar, feet in the sand, corn hole, Adirondack chairs, rope swings at the bar. Unfortunately we had a round of TERRIBLE mojitos. I’m sure this was the bartender though and not the establishment. Went with friends who have been there multiple times and never had bad drinks.

Awesome place on a Wednesday night. The singer was fantastic and the reason we stayed for a few more. It’s a Key West bar feel in Ohio. What could be better?

Mojito’s and swings, what more could you ask for? This place is beautiful and the drinks made me very happy. It will be on place that I never forget. It was a beautiful date with my husband. The swings are the coolest thing ever!

A little too wild for my taste. I tried the coconut drink, I wouldn’t get it again. I did however enjoy sitting out to the side in the beach chairs. The live music the night we were there was horrible. That’s the main reason why we left.

Mojito Bay is my favorite place to day-drink on the island. The ground is covered in sand and they have swing seats at the bar. How fun! It really makes you feel like you are on vacation when you are here. There was also live music already playing when we got here at noon. The service was very friendly and fast, especially considering 75% of the orders are mojitos. Impressive. The mojitos are $ 8 a piece but there is a huge selection of flavors posted above the bar and boy are they tasty. Mixed drinks were actually much cheaper than I would have thought. 16 oz beers are right about 5 bucks. Definitely a must stop.

We love tiki bars, so this was a must on our visit to Put-In-Bay. If you like music, sand, swings and good priced drinks, this is the place to go. We loved the parrot themed chairs, the swings by the bar and the fun atmosphere. My only complaint is the cigarette smoke.

I had seen Mojito Bay’s website several times while planning our Memorial Day trip to Put In Bay. It looked like a BLAST and who wouldn’t want to try a gazillion different varieties of Mojitos from the comfort of your very own swing at the bar! Well, Saturday we drove past it about a dozen times and the line wrapped down the sidewalk. We kept passing, hoping the line would thin out. Luckily, around 4 or so, it finally did! There are no walls here. It is literally a thatch roof on top of several poles. This place looks like it was picked up out of somewhere tropical and transplanted right here in the Buckeye State! So it is a 100% open air bar. The weather couldn’t have been more beautiful, sunny and in the 80’s! It was the weekend to kick off the summer! We stood in line for about 30 seconds while our IDs got checked, we got a wristband from the doorman(who was a hoot and super friendly!) and walked straight up to the bar where there happened to be ONE swing available! I snatched it, while my husband and his our two friends stood right behind me. It was busy, but not so much that you had to rub your whole body against people to pass them. The service was LIGHTNING fast. I’m not kidding, the guy who served us the whole time(Joe?) could make 15 drinks at the same time and never mix them up. It was amazing just watching him! Plus they have kind of a «pit crew» of bar staff that runs around refilling the lime and mint containers. The live music was FANTASTIC. It was a bluegrass band playing all sorts of alternative and country music while we were there, but they have several different bands throughout the day and night! I was very skeptical at first of going in for fear that people were going to be SO drunk and with SO many people… but it seriously turned out to be the highlight of our whole weekend. The two guys who came with us said it was probably their favorite part of any vacation ever! So that’s pretty awesome. They really do have 20ish varieties of Mojitos.(Banana and Whipped Cream were our favorites) They are $ 8 a piece.(Yes a little steep, but the ingredients are SUPER fresh and very delicious, and the price is worth it for the experience!) Check their website for flavors. They also have a HUGE menu board over the bar to pick from when you get there. BUT they offer a full bar if Mojitos aren’t your thing! This place is A MUSTTRY on your list next time you make it up to the islands! I can’t WAIT to get back!

If Jimmy Buffet came to Put-in-Bay, this is where he would live. A beach bar with swings and an old white man playing guitar and singing classic rock, and famous drinking songs. Can’t get much better than that! Feel the sand in your toes and enjoy the people watching that will ensue! We stopped in for a drink or two while visiting the island for the day and had a great time! The service was speedy and the beer was cold, which is pretty much all I need to get me in island mode! I just made a rhyme!

Sweet little place to enjoy a drink! The bar has swings to sit on! There are games to play! The floor is sand, so lose your shoes and dig your toes in and have fun! You can even bring your dog! We did!!!
