This specific location has been around since ’95, and they do testing and adjusting of your clock (which can take a few months due to constant backlog). It’s pretty neat, since they work on all mechanical movements on both old and new clocks (where they actually take the clock apart, each part being examined for damage and wear) as well as restoration on mantle, shelf, wall, and tall case clocks (American, British, German, English, Dutch, Swedish, French, and Italian). They are also are qualified to offer watch services (17 jewels or higher). In addition, Eastern Standard Time also offers grandfather clock house calls — that’s right! They service an expansive area (DC/​VA/​MD) where an experienced and a competent horologist comes to offer preventative maintenance and consultation, routine check-​up, as well as any diagnostic testing to routine maintain your clock. You can also opt to have the store come and safely pick-​up/​return your clocks, so you don’t have to lug it over there. Just a note: they do not work on cuckoo clocks, so keep that in mind! :D
