The Slip-​Knot has been closed for a couple of years. In July 2015 it was sold to an auto dealer. It has not been announced what the future holds.

The Queen of Port Charlotte (my mother) tells me that this joint has dreamy burgers. I have yet to try them. I will wait to take mom…
I have enjoyed cocktails here on numerous occasions. The joint receives my highest recommendation based, if nothing else, on the fact that is has «Mobile Home Park» in its name.
The badass décor, scary-​lobster catchin’ vendin’ machine, biker types, pirate ship, and goony golf decorations cinch it.
It boils down to this: Entering this place puts me in a better mood. The prices are favorable, too. $ 3 bucks for delicious, domestic bottled beer. Ahhhhh!
