I LOVE this place’s food but I hate their service! I have been going to PF Chang’s all over the US for years and the only consistent thing is that their service is suspect at best! This particular visit was with my wife the night before Valentine’s day. We arrived around 4pm(trying to beat the rush) and I was sat quickly at a bar table. My wife was doing a bit of shopping and she arrived shortly after I sat. The server was frantic and came to the the table shortly thereafter. We had enough time to review the menu and ordered our drinks, appetizer and entrees all at the same time. The appetizer came out quickly and was fantastic… as always. My wife’s ahi salad came out almost immediately after the appetizer. My entrée was nowhere to be seen for about 10 minutes. A manager happened by our table and asked how everything was and I was honest with my review. 5 minutes or so later my entrée arrived and, as always, was absolutely fantastic. By this point my wife had already completed her meal and was watching me try to hurry to stuff my face. The server came over and told me that the entire meal was on the house because of the service errors. Because of the intervention by the manager I’m giving this spot a decent rating, but once again the service was incredibly poor! If PF Changs ever figures out how to make their service on par with their food quality it will be a 5 star review!

Like any PF Chang’s it is what it is. This one sits on Providence Place mall where I believe the Napa Valley Grill used to sit and is a pretty small location. If you don’t make a reservation before you get here, good luck as this place gets packed and you will be waiting for a bit. The service was pretty good, attentive and the manager walked around to check in with guests. The problem I see with Chang’s is the menu. It is the usual Chinese fare, sushi, Dim Sum, rice dishes etc. But pretty basic meals, nothing out of the ordinary and at this location everything from the rice to the Thai Pad noddles to even the kids meals were overly spicy and each had a kick to it. Not sure why but did not expect such a kick on even the Dim Sum. In the end prices are okay and the place was okay but nothing to write home about.

There are extra drinks on the dessert menu. Be sure to ask for it. Diana is the best waitress ever!

Went here for the first time, my appetizer came out with my sushi entrée when I asked for it first and it was not busy at the time. The chicken satay could of been better in taste and temperature. Most likely won’t go back but it was worth the try at least I enjoyed the sushi.

Went here for the first time last night. Will definitely be back. Service was good, drinks were good and food was good. Enjoying the leftovers today.

Overall nice ambiance, and moderate speed of service with friendly staff. Nothing really to complain. We had a few cocktails and satay and a teriyaki type dish. Having had food at other PF Chang’s I will say taste wise this place is not on the top spot, although we did like the cocktails.

So the other’s reviews are true. Service here is terrible. I got a simple to-go order of appetizer and main dish and they forgot the rice. THEYFORGOTTHERICE! It’s raining here and I don’t have a car so there’s no way I’m going back to claim what should have been included in my bag. I kinda sensed that the front desk person was just being an ass after she saw that I didn’t leave any tip because well, it’s a to-go over. If you want mediocre food with a shit service, PF Chang’s welcomes you!

A good little spot. Went here for a company dinner they were very accommodating and the staff was super friendly! The appetizers were better than the main dishes however. Do yourself a favor and get the rips to start they fall off the bone! I got the King Pow chicken… It was bone dry and not much spice or flavor. But overall I thought it was a great dinner and night.

They messed up with our order. And when they brought the wrong dish, it took forever to get the right dish. And without an apology! Imagine waiting for close to an hour for your dish when the rest of the group is done with their dinner. The Manager came and talked to us and offered to take the dish off the bill which they did. She also offered us dessert, coffee etc on the house, we didn’t take any since none of us wanted. She gave each one of us appetizer coupons for our next visit… That took the bad taste out of the dinner quite a bit… Hopefully next time around we have a better experience and wouldn’t have to go through such a harrowing experience. With a chain like P F Chang’s, you expect a much better dining experience.

Bad experience here tonight there was fruit files in the rice as well as my Mongolian beef the waitress who was very nice saw it as well and asked the women’s manager to take it off the bill she was very arrogant about it and would not take the full meal off for someone who eats here a lot that’s not acceptable in my opinion definitely do not see myself coming back here it’s a shame to because I liked this place a lot.

Based off my first and only experience here… ugh. The only saving grace was the manager Greg who was quick to rectify a horrid dining experience… poor guy, I think I overheard that this was his first night as manager. So long story short it took us almost 2 hours to leave this place and it wasn’t because we were having a good time. :We were seated at 635 pm, took almost 20 minutes for our waiter to show up and take our drink order. We put our food order in right away, 2 apps and 3 entrees. 20 minutes later the drinks come out, 20 more minutes the apps, 20 more minutes the food, and it was gross, like it had been sitting under the hot lamp for the past hour… I blame the waiter, whos name was Carlos, or Pedro… didn’t catch it sorry… he was so inattentive, I almost want to pull the race card here, we had crap service, he didn’t explain specials or loyalty card or anything to us but he did to our neighbors… our food(the first batch that was dry and over lamped) came out the same time as people who ordered 40 mins after we did. We also had a late addition to our dinner party, he didn’t greet her, offer beverage or to take an order… just awful service… So we call over the manager after choking on a couple bites of our overcooked heat lamp neglected and dry food. His name was Greg and he does rectify the situation fairly quickly, brought us fresh dishes, apologized, made some excuses, and comp’ed us our food. He was really nice and has some great potential if this really was his first night as manager, seems to have been a somewhat shitty night, because he had to talk to a lot of patrons at their tables while we were there. Greg is the only reason this review does not get 1 star. If PF Chang’s at Providence Place reads this, please realize Greg saved your butt this night.

I went to PF Chang’s for the first time a few months ago with my fiancée and another couple. They loved the place but I read mixed reviews and wasn’t sure what to expect. Overall, dinner was a good experience. Between the four of us we samples multiple drinks– Long Island rum tea, Asian pear mojito, Asian pear mojito, sangria, Mai tai, agave margarita. No complaints from anyone about their beverages For dinner my fiancé had the Mongolian beef, which he enjoyed. I got the spicy chicken and was able to order it gluten free which is always appreciated. It wasn’t the best Chinese food ever, but it definitely was on the higher end. Service was fabulous. Our waiter’s name was Roberto, and he was always on top of things, making sure we never had an empty drink and ensuring that we were enjoying our meal. PF Chang’s is definitely a worthwhile place to go where you don’t have to spend a fortune and can have a decent night out! The food was decent and worth three stars, but services and ambiance bumps it up for a low four for me.

A solid 3 and the bar staff actually bumped this review up. I have eaten at a lot of PF Chang’s throughout the U.S. and for some reason this location just didn’t measure up. I got the Egg Drop Soup which was delicious, but the Chicken Lettuce Wraps were just off. I can’t pinpoint what the reason why, but you just know after eating at so many other locations. Also, service did seem slow for just ordering a cup, of soup and some lettuce wraps. The space is very nice and the bar is huge. Like I said, the bartenders are awesome and always right there if you need anything. I also noticed that they have an impressive wine selection… Caymus, Hall, etc… and great Bourbon offerings. Improve the food just a little and this is an easy 4 star location… its tight in the heart of it all.

5÷3÷2015 My boyfriend and I were there on a Friday for dinner. It was fairly busy being dinner time and all, so we didn’t mind waiting for some awesome food :) We didn’t even mind waiting for our meal to be re-made after our order was placed incorrectly and the wrong dish was sent out to us. We DID start to mind when our check arrived with BOTH the incorrect meal AND the correct order charged to our credit card. Our waitress was quick to apologize and take the card back to correct the charge. But then we waited for a LONG time. It became apparent that she’d forgotten about us when she appeared from the back, said«Oh SH*T», and hightailed it back into the kitchen area. A few minutes later we were presented our corrected check and were able to finally leave the restaurant, albeit about ten minutes late for work. Our waitress was overall polite while serving us, and the food was delicious. We realize that it was a busy time of day. But after reading the other reviews here, I’m convinced that this PF Chang’s more often than not finds itself«in the weeds» during regular dining hours. For potential customers reading this review, I’d say maybe plan to show up a little before or after«normal» meal times so that you’ll have a «normal» restaurant experience.

The only reason this place is getting four stars is because the food. The ambiance of the place is casual yet has an upscale feel! I love the statue of the horse outside! There is also outdoor seating which is a plus on a nice day. I went for lunch with friends. We ordered some cocktails and waited at least ten minutes for our drinks! The bartender was not even that busy! Our server was efficient and kept apologizing for the wait. The manager on duty«Brock» was very pleasant and made sure to take care of us. He even recommended a couple of dishes to get since it was my first time here. Overall experience was slow paced. But I’ll return for the delicious food!

Although the green tea tastes more like hot water, The wonton soup was suprisingly really good and laden with shrimp, wonton and mushrooms. It wasnt too salty and it was just nice for a light meal. The dynamite shrimp was also really good and addictive! Service was alright.

The food was good, started with the hot & sour soup. It was spicy but a little cold. Also had the ginger edamame which was really good. Had two helpings because they messed up. Finished with the spicy chicken over white rice. That was really good and spicy. We did have drink issues. I wanted a pomegranate martini, no pomegranate. Then wanted a gin and tonic with New Amsterdam gin, no Amsterdam gin. Settled for Tanqueray gin but instead got a Mai Tai. All good, the manager gave us the drinks for free.

Came here during the week for a quick lunch. The place seemed pretty empty. Ordered a Mai tai, very good, had a nice run float on top. We shared some apps, lettuce wraps, pork dumplings, and dynamite shrimp. I would say the shrimp were a little bit of a let down, didn’t seem like some quality shrimp, but hey, what do you expect from a chain. I must just be spoiled from good New England seafood. Anyway, the lettuce wraps and dumplings were both great, lots of flavor. Service was good, a little over the top on how many stops she made to our table, but that’s better than lousy service right?

I had an awful meal here last night. The prices were shockingly high($ 10 for a Jack Daniels on the rocks) and it was NOT a generous pour. We then ordered 2 appetizers. Only 1 of them was delivered to our table. It was some kind of diced chicken that you put in a piece of lettuce to eat. It had no flavor. We waited 5 minutes for the second appetizer(dumplings) but they did not come. After another 5 minutes, we finally found our waitress and told her the 2nd appetizer was missing. She went to find the apps. Another 5 or so minutes went by and our dinners appeared instead. Dinner was awful. Tiny portions, poor quality and it was barely warm.(I had the spicy chicken). The chicken was cut in different sizes so the small pieces were over cooked and some of the larger chunks were under cooked. Finally, a manager came over when someone finally realized we never got our 2nd appetizer and she gave me a free drink. The entire dinner from when we sat to when we paid the check took less than 45 minutes! I have been to a lot of PF Changs and usually enjoy them very much. This one, however, seems much more concerned about turning over tables than they do about pleasing the customer.

I came here with a friend for lunch at the bar today and I was thoroughly surprised. Kevin is an amazing bar tender and the service was spot on. My friend ordered a bowl of soup and she got a HUGE bowl for only six bucks! It had at least three meals worth. I went with my regular GF chicken wraps and was not disappointed. Kevin was also concerned when I tried the hot and sour soup – «this is not gluten free, you’ll be okay?» which I truly appreciated. Totally rethinking my opinion of this location – thanks for a great lunch!
