Food is the same as any other Chipotle but there is AWFUL customer service at this location. If I’m going to Chipotle, I will go to any other one.

Man, what would my life be without Chipotle? Having one on college hill is my saving grace after long Scili study sessions. The food here is always consistently good, and the service is commendably efficient, even under the duress of long dinner-hour lines. I always order my usual: a salad bowl with meat, cheese, pico, corn salsa, and guac. It’s healthy, yummy, and filling despite being on the pricier side. The quality of Chipotle’s meat does differ across locations, but I have yet to be disappointed here. There barbacoa has been without fail delicious. The employees are generally young, probably high-school or college aged. They’re not excessively friendly — their goal is to move fast — but they tend to do their job well. There is some indoor seating, but you have to be lucky to get it. There are also a couple of seats outside. This generally isn’t a great place to sit and chat with a large group of friends, but it’s fine for a group of 2 – 3. It’s also quite nice to sit at their window bar seating and people watch. In a nutshell, this Chipotle is a safe bet for a tasty, quick, healthy meal.

We LOVE Chipotle but we had a pretty bad experience at this location. Bored and disinterested employees, cold food and it took several minutes for the employees to acknowledge us and take our order. It doesn’t take much effort to be pleasant or to keep food warm. We won’t come back here again.

Rude people! Terrible service. Skimpy portions. Yes, it’s just another Chipotle, so the food is the same that you know very well, and it’s the reason why you are going there in the first place. But this particular restaurant stands out easily as the worst Chipotle that I have ever been in(and I’ve been in many, and I generally _love_them!) Probably because it’s close to Brown University, and students in general don’t care too much about the quality of the service, this place treats you(the non-student) as crap — someone who is there to quickly give them their cash and run away with a bowl of edible food. They don’t pay attention to what you say or order, just hurry you up to the cashiers. Will avoid in future.

For a chain, it is decent food. I don’t think anyone needs a burrito the size of their head, but that’s my opinion. I usually get the tacos or a burrito bowl. I like mixing and matching meats for my tacos. My husband is a big fan of the vegetarian option(and he’s not even a vegetarian), the sofritas. I think it is a bit much to charge $ 2 for guacamole, but it’s pretty good so we usually get some anyway.

This is the second time I’ve gone out of my way to go to this chipotle and it’s the worst business I’ve ever received. The two times I’ve gone I ordered a chicken quesadilla and when I got home it was PLAIN cheese. How do you mix up a chicken quesadilla with plain cheese? Is this place a joke? I’ll never come back and I bet none of my friends will after this horrible customer service and experience. Giving them a 1 star was being generous.

Like this chipotle better than the other one I have been to in RI across the the street from Panera. They give ALOT of food a don’t gip you. Very considerate to their customers as we’ll. when the steak wasn’t ready and I had to wait 5+ mins for it, they compt my guac.

We walked in yesterday(our 4th time there) and immediately regretted it because of the line. The wait actually wasn’t that bad. The staff really hustled! They had 5 staff members in line: — Heating up burritos & tacos, starting bowls & salads — Putting rice, beans, & meat in — Salsa, Cheese, Sour Cream, Guacamole, etc. & wrapping burittos, tacos, etc. — Putting your meal in a bag, asking you if you want a drink or chips — Rings you up The food was great though! I always get a carnitas bowl with white rice, black beans, cheese, sour cream, mild salsa, and guacamole. The packed the bowl with plenty of food this time. So I’m only taking a star off for the size of the restaurant. We tend not to eat in because there truthfully is not enough seating inside. I don’t advise going to eat there during dinner with a big group because you could be sitting on opposite sides of the restaurant. For a busy area(Thayer Street) they should gave put a lot more seating in.

The last time I visited this Chipotle will be the last time I visit this Chipotle. As you know, Chipotle is known for its very large burritos. However, for the first time in my life, I left Chipotle hungry. The burrito was probably half the size it is usually, which jilted my plans of eating half and saving half, and they really tried to charge me extra for guacamole in a veggie burrito. The whole point of getting the veggie burrito is to get guacamole in the place of meat! Every time I go to this Chipotle, I think of the old adage«fool me once, shame on you. fool me twice, shame on me.» Shame on me no more, Chipotle on Thayer! I’m a Gordito Burrito baby from now on.

This place is nearly always packed. You can expect a line during popular dinner and lunch times. But it never takes long to place your order or get your food. While I am not a fan of chains, Chipotle tries to be a good corporation, and well, there are not a lot of choices for quick bites on Thayer. This location always has a ton of staff working ensuring that food is fresh, quick, and as you order. This also means that the restaurant is very clean. I have not used their restrooms so I cannot comment on that. However, the food is consistent, and the staff are friendly.

It’s not okay for a Chipolte. They usually have better consistency from store to store. The rice was undercooked or was drying out. It was hard.

They have sofritas as a vegan option. That is amazing. You just earned so much respect and love, Chipotle. It makes me so sad to go to so many other locations that do not offer vegan«meat» options. Nice staff, clean bathroom most of the time, and clean facility.

As a student at Brown, I frequented this branch of Chipotle a lot. It’s clean, the line moves pretty quickly, ingredients are fresh, and they even offer cheap margaritas in plastic cups(which are quite strong, just saying). However, I have found the portion sizes to be quite hit-or-miss. My standard order is a chicken burrito bowl without guac(it’s a total ripoff at $ 2 for what can generously be classified as half a scoop). Sometimes, my bowl is overflowing, and the staff struggles to fit my lettuce in the bowl at the end. More often, my bowl is clearly underfilled with room for two whole servings of lettuce. Paltry servings of rice, beans, and chicken are at fault here.

I love this Chipotle! Everyone is super friendly and fast, which is a plus in the evenings when it gets busy. It’s very clean compared to other locations I’ve been to. I love that they open up the windows and let the sunshine in so you can watch the world go by on Thayer on warmer days. Knocking off a couple of stars because although it’s fast, it’s not the best Mexican food I’ve ever had, and additionally, the last time I got a chicken burrito here, the chicken definitely could have been cooked a little longer. Consistency is key.

We’ve all been to a Chipotle or two so this location isn’t really any different. I do want to give credit to the staff for hustling like nobody’s business. It gets slammed here(as in 25 people waiting in line) but they kept up great. I was happy to see the Sofritas on the menu which is a great vegetarian alternative. Sadly, I cringed when I watched my burrito being rolled up. Honestly, if your job is to make burritos, why do you suck so bad at it? With as many people coming through here any given day, you’d expect that each person working would be an absolute burrito genius. Instead, I was handed a mushed up, ball of filling, barely contained within the now torn-to-pieces tortilla. But prices are decent, service was relatively quick(for the Thayer area) so I’ll keep coming back like the burrito masochist that I am.

My favorite chipotle to go to hands down. I’m here today with a couple fiends and the weather is just perfect to head out to Thayer street and grab a burrito on the wonderful day. Brown university is so lovely and fun to walk through. And this is always a great chipotle to go to. The service is fast and great and they always have a smile on their face. Like I said before the best time to go is during the spring when the weather is perfect and the windows are open and Thayer street is alive

Like all sane people, I love Chipotle. This location is definitely one of the better ones. Things I like: — clean tables — fast turnover — fresh, delicious food — low prices — ability to people-watch on Thayer street Thinks I dislike: — inconsistent portion sizes depending on who’s making the burrito/taco — paying $ 2 for guacamole, especially given variability of the amount of guac you get depending on who’s your server — insane crowd at noon and at 6pm Tip: Get the chocolate milk! Also, I can never finish a whole portion of Chipotle, so I normally get 2 single tacos($ 2.30 each), which is exactly the right amount.

I don’t know when this place became comfort food to me, but after years of working in NYC and eating lunch here it is. It’s just nice to go somewhere where you know you will get a relatively healthy meal(or at least it is how I order) that will be good every time.

Customer service is poor and extremely robotic. My burrito had to be rerolled due to the crew members tearing it. Usually wouldn’t mind but after waiting for steak, I was extremely hungry and growing impatient. After swatting for my steak, I was unhappy with it. Undercooked and fatty! Gross! Only positive was the soda machine, free refills and I love me some root-beer. Def. Won’t return to this location.

Look, chipotle burritos, tacos, etc. are a certain taste standard. And this is why I keep going back to this location. It’s just so close. However service and portions are incredibly hit or miss. I’ve noticed a negative attitude primarily from people who aren’t required to wear the dorky t shirts who I can only assume are management. The food is also quite hit or miss. This place suffers from a lack of competition. Sadly they are far and away the best burrito on the block. The steady income from the college crowd won’t shock this location into upping it’s game. If you are on college hill and want a burrito for lunch this is still your place.
