Bayside OB-Gyn

My OBGYN retired and referred all of her patients here. I have had 2 appointments and both were great with the doctor (Skudlarek). The problem is that everything leading up to the appointment and even getting test results after the appointment was difficult. The staff leaves you feeling as though you don’t matter; it’s difficult getting through on the phone (and it’s the patient’s responsibility to call in for test results), schedules are always changing, doctors are running late, and the staff is not kind or understanding. I showed up in a snow storm for my annual and the receptionist told me she wasn’t sure the doctor would see me because all her earlier patients were late. Um, what? They’re not rude exactly, just absent. I called to cancel my last appointment and the receptionist just said «OK.» She didn’t ask why. No matter how good the doctors are here, it’s just not worth it.
