This has become one of my favorite places! I have always worked out in some capacity whether it be videos at home or running, but I never really committed to joining a gym until my first class at Bar Method. The instructors are so positive and helpful, yet they want to see you work at your hardest level and the push you towards that! It’s a great group of women and a great workout!

After hearing about Bar Method from a close friend, I decided to tag along with her to class one evening. Boy, was I in for a pleasant surprise! Having played a D1 college sport and tried many group exercise classes, Bar is NOTHING like anything I have done before. The workout is always changing and the instructors encourage you to stretch beyond your comfort zone to attain the best results. I am now three months into my Bar routine and there is no looking back. Not only do I feel strong and confident, I have toned and firmed the muscles on my legs and waist. The biggest draw of Bar Method Princeton are its wonderful owners and instructors. They are women who are committed to your fitness goals, create a warm and welcome environment, and have built a strong community of Bar Method devotees. I am so glad I took the leap and tried something new. If you’re looking for a challenging workout, exceptional instructors, and a warm community of confident women, Bar Method Princeton is for you!

A great studio with incredible instructors! I’ve been going to The Bar Method in Princeton for a few weeks now and am very pleased with my experience. I’ve been to other barre studios in the past and none of them have had staff that were as friendly as those at this studio. The instructors have always made it a point to get to know each person’s name, starting from day one. While classes can have up to 20+ attendees, the instructors are keeping an eye out on every individual to assure they are in the correct position. Considering I am no barre expert, this is super important to me, and I appreciate the one-on-one help when I am doing something wrong. Each class kicks my butt and I’m sore as hell the next day, but I love going here! Highly recommend.

I love this studio! I come to class here when I’m visiting my family in NJ but wish I could come more often! The studio itself is awesome. The instructors are so nice and really care about helping you/making sure you’re doing excercises correctly. It’s a great workout and I really enjoy coming to class here.

Great for beginners! The studio is very clean, open and nice. The staff and instructors are extremely friendly and personable. The instructor makes it a point to know everyone’s name during class so she can help you out with form and technique. Good workout. I was sore the day after. It’s nice because you don’t really get sweaty so you can easily make plans after class but it’s still an effective workout.

I started going to Princeton Bar Method a few weeks ago to whip myself into shape before my wedding. Initially, I was a little nervous since I’d never been to an exercise class — ever. But from the first class, I loved it — all of the instructors are friendly, encouraging, and know how to keep everyone in the class motivated. The workout itself is challenging and fun — I look forward to going to class every week!

I kept waiting for Princeton Bar Method to join Unilocal so that I could write a glowing review, so I took matters into my own hands. I’ve been going to Princeton Bar Method(PBM) for about eight months and I can’t get enough. I’ve NEVER been big on exercising — I’ll do it, but I’ll welcome any excuse not to. Once I started at PBM, things changed. I am so excited to go, and have been taking up to 5 classes a week since I started. The owners, Amy and Jen, are incredibly nice, very professional, and extremely knowledgeable about not only Bar Method, but the body and health in general. There are about 4 other teachers at PBM as well, and I can honestly say I love taking classes with all of them. It is HARD work, but it pays off. We just had a 45 day fitness challenge, and I lost 7″ — and I think I’m on the low end compared to other challenge participants The studio itself is very clean and has a fun atmosphere. You can tell that everyone comes to work hard and have fun doing it, which is a great pick me up after a long day of work. I can’t say enough about Princeton Bar Method. It’s changed my body and my outlook on exercise.
