I stayed here with my mother and two young daughter. Hotel was clean, staff was nice. Breakfast was simple, muffins, bagels, toast, 2 kinds of cereal, instant grits and oatmeal and a waffle maker. Oh and Activia yogurt, juice, coffee, tea, hot chocolate. Took the girls swimming in the indoor pool, which was freezing cold and not heated. Hot tub was very small. Our room was on the first floor(room 123). 2 queen beds. Clean, but you could see where they had patched up paint, you had to pull on the door to be sure it closed all the way. For 4 people staying in the room they only gave us enough towels for 2, we brought our own anyways so not a big deal. Beds comfortable, TV worked fine. Microwave and fridge were a plus. Even though we were on the first floor and near the pool it was pretty quiet. The bathroom door would not stay open unless it was propped by the garbage can, and it locked on us a few times when it closed behind someone. I was a bit disappointed that when we came back to our room from the day, our sheets were not changed they just made the bed. Towels were replaced. We did not have a do not disturb sign either. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate packets and hot water were available in the lobby in the evening. Would I stay here again? Yes!

Very nice stay, met our needs and then some. The staff are friendly and helpful. I was surprised at the quality of the hotel.

Been to better. Been to worse. $ 80 per night for a suite isn’t bad. Completely nonsmoking is a plus for me. I loved the retro design. But the sink was broken. The stopper was pulled out and sitting on the vanity. The security latch on the door fell off when we tried to latch the door. Other than that, the room was clean. Either we had the world loudest neighbors or the walls are paper thin. We heard their tv better than ours.(They really liked the Simpsons.) luckily they went to bed pretty early. And head the advise of other travelers before. Go out for breakfast. By 8:30 am, it looked like a plague of locust had come through and trash was everywhere. We pass through this way a lot. Next time we will try holiday inn express.

The reason this place is getting 2 stars and not one or ZERO is because the front desk person and the head of housekeeping really tried to help and were lovely people. Our experience was TERRIBLE from the first night. We stepped off the elevator into the hallway on the second floor and had to avoid a giant stain which resembled something one would see at a crime scene. We had traveled all day to get to Princeton for my stepdaughter’s wedding and by the time we arrived at the hotel for the night we were exhausted. The room was so dirty! There was a used towel hanging behind the bathroom door, the carpet was soiled and the cushion in the window seat looked like someone had urinated on it. I went downstairs to get some cleaner to wipe down the hard surfaces and when I came back up my husband said we were switching rooms because there were pubic hairs on the sheets! Disgusting! The next room we went to had the same problem, PLUS dark«mystery» stains on the sheets. We called and had the front desk person come up to look at the sheets, and while she did not seem surprised, she did find us a room with clean sheets but the toilet rocked every time it was sat upon. The next day we left early and asked the housekeeper for extra towels on our way out. We received the extra towels, but NOTHING else. The room was not refreshed at all so the beds were unmade and the extra towels were just sitting on the sink. The man on duty that night didn’t seem to care and did nothing to fix the problem. The next day I left early and as my husband was leaving he ASKED the housekeeper to clean the room. We returned in the evening to find a dirty room… again! The person at the desk and someone in on her day off, apologized and then went up to our room to refresh it. That was very nice of them. One of the housekeepers came to the room the next day and apologized. That was also very nice of her. This hotel is very dirty for something that has only existed for 2 ½ years. Clean the carpets! Vacuum the floors! Attach the toilets so they don’t rock. Whoever says this hotel is awesome is lying. The people are nice, absolutely, but the hotel is a disaster.

My husband and I stayed here only one night b/c we were just passing through the area. Its a newer hotel, just opened in January 2010. The bed was really comfy, had 3 pillows and we asked for and received 1 more, the room was spotless. Bath towels were big and fluffy. The whole hotel is nonsmoking and no pets which was great with us. They didn’t supply any shampoo in the bathroom, we didn’t ask for any b/c I had some with me, so I don’t know if they actually have it on hand if you need it. The room was very quiet, our room was on the first floor, just 4 doors down from the breakfast area, we never heard a thing coming from the hallway, above or beside us. This has to be one of the quietest rooms we ever stayed in. I only gave 4 stars b/c the breakfast bar had a bit to be desired, the bagels were dried out, no hot tea bags, and out of milk for the cereal. Even with the bad breakfast we would stay here again.
