Jammie’ crepes is a regular stop for us. We live in town and it is one of our breakfast and dinner options that are not out of line expensive here in Princeton. My family usually order the savery crepes(well, except my youngest who is more into the pb&j). We love the turkey club, the goat cheese veggie, and all of the breakfast crepes. The specials are always good. Yesterday I had the Cajun potatoes, egg, bacon and cheese… it was sooo good. They are filling. The restaurant is order and sit which makes it difficult sometimes. Yesterday, my youngest and her friend sat on the counter by the window while my husband, older daughter and I sat at the immediate outside table(with our dog). It is counter ordering and bus your own table(which is familiar to me since I grew up in a hippy small town in Massachusetts that has been doing that for years.). I love that all of the paper products and utinsils are earth friendly… nice! We have been there so many times that I can not give you a number, but I have never experienced anything but friendly service. My only slight complaint is that the ordering process seems to be time consuming, at times. I wonder if the register is cumbersome or something. But, that is no biggie. This place is great!

I absolutely LOVE the vibe of this cute little café! My husband and I have made this café our go to place whenever we visit Princeton. We’ve tried the Hammin’ Cheese, Melty, Jammin’ Turkey Club, Everything’s better with Bacon, and the Hazelnut Chai Brie. I still can’t decide which is my favorite(which is a good thing). Pity we were always too full to try the 20 layer crêpe cake.

Residing in a pleasant location — Jammin Crepes had a very comfortable experience lined up for any customer that walks through one of its two(separated) doors. Quick service and good coffee. My Cinnamon Breakfast came out in just under 10 minutes and it was SO good. I rarely finish my entire meal — but this one got me going. I got breakfast at 12 noon here. Everything on the menu is a crêpe. They sell jars of jam and other things off shelf. It’s a busy place it seems.

We have eaten at Jamin several times. Positive — the food is good value for the money. Tasty, quick, lite meal or snack. Nice atmosphere, clean, etc. Downside, they can sometimes be gratuitously rude, inflexible. For example, they have a policy that everyone in a group must wait in line to order, and only after you place your order will they will allow you to find a table(they don’t have a host/hostess doing seating). We are slightly elderly, my wide was tired, I went in line she took a seat, and my wife was told to get up and stand until I had placed the order(they had plenty of tables, literally the justification was«this is our policy»). A staff member came out from behind the counter to make a scene about this.

Hands down the best breakfast I’ve ever had! I ordered the cinnamon breakfast crêpe with fresh local strawberries with maple syrup on top. This comes with a very light amount of eggs and bacon wth the strawberries mixed in, paired with cinnamon. The combination of flavors and the quality of the crêpe really exceeded any expectations I had about eating a crêpe. All day I’ve continued to think about going back for another. The owner is very kind and he has a very well run operation with the best food I’ve tasted yet on the east coast. Very nice environment to dine in and feels local.

After a rather unlucky experience at Jammin’ Crepes during my last visit(see my last review), the owner reached out to me to give me a better sense of what was going on within the business at the time(personal family issues, tough times, etc.). She invited me back to try them out again, reassuring me that I will have a better experience. As promised, I had a great time! The owner met me and was very cordial about accommodating me. I ordered the Jersey Sunrise(a special they were having), which was absolutely delicious(another friend who went around the same time told me she even got 2 of them). Other than that, my friend got the sweet potato creperino, which she enjoyed. Like I said in my previous review, the crepes here tend never to be bad, and well, after my last experience, this place showed me that they can make some pretty nice crepes as well. I look forward to see how this place continues to develop, but I’m sure I’ll be coming back. I recommend it especially for brunch, as they have both savory and sweet crepes, with a decent breakfast selection as well! Seating can be a bit difficult sometimes when it gets crowded, so try to get in before peak hours.

Cute shop that’s centrally located in the middle of Princeton’s popular Nassau street. They have a large menu of both sweet and savory crepes, with interesting combinations. Best of all, they’re happy to customize to fit your preferences. I wasn’t really feeling anything too cheesy, so I got a crêpe with eggs and stewed-ish tomatoes(along with salt & pepper). It was simple, but equal to the size of a relatively large slice of pizza. The outside of the crêpe had some good crunch to it but wasn’t covered in oil from being cooked on the griddle. No part of the inside of the crêpe was empty without filling. The tomatoes might have been a bit less sweet if they were sautéed, but this is something I tend to be pickier about than other people(I prefer less-sweet tomatoes in most foods). And after eating this around 9am, I was full until dinner! I had a snack or two, but no lunch — I was impressed at how filling it was! In terms of service, the woman who took our order was quite friendly. The crepes came out within 5 – 10 minutes of us placing our order. I was surprised at how busy this place was on a Wednesday morning, but my mom who I was with told me it was almost impossible to get into on the weekends, so they must be doing well!

This was a spontaneous crêpe purchase. I have a weakness for crepes so I have grown to have a strong opinion of good vs not so good quality crepes. I wasn’t a fan of the crêpe here. It was nice that it was a large serving, but the caramel sauce had way too much salt in it and just threw the whole thing off and made it feel a bit overwhelming. The atmosphere is cute though. It’s nice for little meet ups and hang outs. I would use this place for the atmosphere, not necessarily for a crêpe craving.

I am so glad I tried this place. I love the rustic décor, the staff was great, and the food — delish! I had the ham and cheese melty. The mustard aioli really made it fabulous. the portion was really nice, worth the price — which is a bargain. so nice to find a great, unpretentious place to eat in Princeton!

Eggs/bacon/cheese is outstanding but REALLY love the«Everythjngs Better with Jam» crêpe. Jan is excellent and great balance of ingredients. Only complaint is seating on a cold day — can get crowded and not a lot of tables but if your by yourself or with just one other diner, the counter area is a great choice.

I found myself saying«how’d they do that» more than once(which isn’t how I’d start off most Unilocal food reviews). Crepes truly mystify me. My first question is «how’d they get the eggs so thin?» My second question is «how do they get all the crêpe layers to line up so perfectly?» My favorite aspects of Jammin’ Crepes? 1. Ambiance: all recycled, reclaimed and re-purposed(whimsy and clever) 2. Sustainability: compost and recycle friendly 3. Diet Friendly: Gluten free? No problem! All palates and needs covered. 4. Price: 3 people had breakfast for $ 30 which isn’t bad, I pay just as much for a crêpe at a farmers market! As for the ambiance, a great example is the bathroom… note the mason jar light fixture, the rolling pin coat hook on back of door and the cast iron plumbing toilet roll holder. Lots of great details and ideas! Even the tables leveraged an order and«number» system and we were based on a deck of cards. Our crepes were served hot and brought out in the order in which they came of the«crêpe machine». My eggs were cooked thoroughly. The cinnamon was a little runny(I believe possibly suspended in a honey base). Tasted great though! There are signs indicating the«local source» or the produce leveraged which gives you the feeling of community and closeness to food. The crêpe layer cake was just sinful and amazing. And yes, there are truly 20 layers. My favorite bite was the slightly crispy edges as it was a both a taste and texture delight!

Not that this needs anther review, but here goes nothing! What’s bad about this place?! Homemade jams, butters, crêpe mix, goodies lining the walls to entertain you as you wait? A quick turnover and organized seating system(they use a deck of cards, instead of names– pretty fun!), and oh yea– the crepes! We went on a busy freezing Saturday(post yoga noms, of course) and the line was to the door, but we didn’t wait more than 25 – 30 minutes. We ordered«brunch” — obviously 1 sweet and 1 savory crêpe. The ultimate brownie(pictures) was amazingly delicious, but almost TOO glutinous. The other was a turkey sausage egg and cheese crêpe which was so well balanced and amazing! The coolest thing, they have bar seating which you can watch them make the crepes; awesome luck of you get here! Drawback: coffee, they fill cups pretty high, and you must navigate through the crowds to the sugar/creamer station to fill your cup and make the treacherous route back to your seat.

One of the best dessert spots in Princeton for sure. Cute place with a similar ambiance to Agricola a few blocks down. Only $ 5 – 7 per crêpe! Not sure if that is cheap for this area, but very cheap compared to NYC. However, my lemon + lavender crêpe did not taste like lavender at all. And neither did the strawberry + lavender jam. Don’t label things lavender if it has not even the slightest hint. There’s a theme running. Because Irish Coffee layered crêpe cake also did not taste like Irish Coffee… or coffee. Service took ages(my crêpe sat on the bar for minutes before a server finally brought it to our table) and none of the servers were able to answer my questions. Also, they have the weirdest hours of operations I’ve ever heard of.

Love this place! Went here with my fiancé and a few friends so we ordered a bunch of different crepes to try. Peanut butter and chocolate hazelnut 20 layer crêpe cake: So. Amazing. The top half was the chocolate and the bottom was peanut butter. I’d never had a crêpe cake before and it was so good. Not at all heavy and would have been even better if it came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. I Hammin Cheese Melty: ate this one so fast, we weren’t able to take a picture. I’m not the biggest ham fan, but this one was really good. Very flavorful and every bite had an equal amount of cheese and ham. Brownies in a blanket: so happy this one came with ice cream because it definitely needed it. The brownie was very thick and rich, but almost too thick. I actually didn’t enjoy it as much because not every bite guaranteed the brownie in it so towards the end, you’re just eating the crêpe which wasn’t bad, just not what I wanted. Maybe if they sliced the brownie more thin and spread it as opposed to just laying a huge piece in the middle it would have been better. The salter caramel sauce it came with was really good! I would definitely come back and try more of their crepes!

Jammie’… I had really high expectations coming in. My friend and I arrived at 1 pm on a Saturday. And the line was almost out the door. The restaurant smelled like heaven with butter and yummy crêpe batter. We ordered the turkey club, some kind of apple pie want to be in a crêpe, yogurt parfait and a fruitella crêpe. Turkey club was the best one. There was a aioli that was suppose to be horseradish but did not have a kick. Mayonnaise on anything makes it automatically yummier so I was pleased. Plus there was bacon. What could have been a home run would be to get rid of that fruity jam that was in it and kick up the aioli just a notch. The other two crepes are overly sweet and filled with jams and simple syrup. The yogurt parfait was ordered by a friend and it came with some funky smelling granola. We asked for another and were informed by the owner that their granola was made in house fresh everyday… Probably with stale oil so I guess we got some of that stale oil fresh granola. She got the yogurt without the granola and really enjoyed it. Place is really lovely. Great design of the layout and clean and friendly. But really the food was unimpressive.

I’ve been here twice for lunch and it has not disappointed. I usually like to try out different menu items every time, but I broke my ‘rule’ and got the veggie goat twice. They use local, farm-fresh ingredients and the crêpe was chock full and very filling. A big plus is that they have a gluten free option!(Note the batter is made with normal white flour even for savory crepes and not buckwheat flour.) Be sure to come before or after the lunch rush, since it can get really crowded with long waits.

A group of us came here for lunch. I ordered a turkey crêpe which was really good. They offer nice size portions which are very filling. My friends ordered the sweet potato crêpe which I thought was ok, a little too plain for my liking. I felt like the crêpe itself was more pancake like than a crêpe. They do have gluten free options available. The staff was great and helpful. I really liked how environmentally friendly the establishment is. They recycle and have a compost. Almost nothing gets thrown into the landfill bin it’s even covered with a sign to ensure that before adding items to it it cannot go somewhere else. Keep in mind there is a $ 10 minimum for credit card use.

Princeton isn’t just a place for Princeton students, professors, and staff — it’s a place where people from all over gather to see this beautiful town. And what else would you do on a beautiful spring day when you’re hungry pre-adventuring Princeton, other than eat? We found Jammin’ Crepes and Unilocal and decided this would be a good first stop on our trip because of all great reviews and the farm fresh ingredients incorporated into the dishes. So how it works is that you order on line, get a table and place your playing card so that the staff will recognize which order goes to which table. Then, you dump your garbage and place your plates into the respective piles. Also utensils not provided with plate — you get the utensils(they’re all lying around in bins somewhere) and eat! The only thing that bothered me about this was that all the utensils were pretty dirty and dusty, so we had to clean it off with a napkin. The best part about this was sitting outside on a really nice day. The tables outside are really great! As for food — I ordered the Ham and Cheese Melty. This included black forest ham, melted swiss, pickled asparagus(I believe) and a ton of mustard. I really like mustard, so this worked for me, but if you don’t — it will just be too much mustard. My friend had a crêpe that had bacon and cinnamon(called Something Breakfast?) which was also quite delicious!

Crepes are one of those things that will either be good or delicious. Very rarely will you find crepes that are gross. I would put Jammin Crepes in the category of good. It’s an extremely popular place, causing it to be very busy on the weekends. Seating is decided by a host who directs you after you pay given that seating is very limited. For this reason, you also can’t just walk in and sit down without food, which is completely understandable. The line is also quite long, but it moves along at a steady pace. I had the health nut crêpe which is peanut butter, bananas, granola and honey. This was very good and filling. Again, not the most delicious crêpe of my life, but enjoyable. I also had a bowl of their corn soup which was very good. It comes with chunks of corn in it and a side of chips that compliments it quite nicely. I like this place… Located right on Nassau street by Palmer square, it’s very convenient for anyone who lives in town. I’ll definitely be coming here consistently to try many of their other crepes. But so far so good.
