The service was fine, but the breakfast was slightly disappointing, I don’t understand how anyone could mess up such an easy meal to cook. They store was interesting.

Very disappointed. Food was terrible. Sugar cured ham was was salt cured ham. Worst tasting ham I have ever had. Salmon patties were out of a box tasted like pure pimento. Biscuits were burnt on top. Wait staff totally ignores you. Manager wanted to argue about the type of ham it was obvious she did not know the difference between sugar cured and salt cured. Green beans way over cooked rice was rubbery. Place was to loud. Kitchen noise is loud. The dining area lloks dingy and dusty. The fireplace was nice. The gift shop was nice but 10 people are watching every move you make. Was made to feel very uncomfortable while browsing. Cashier was rude she did not know how to operate her register what ever she did made my transaction decline. I told her to try it again and it worked the second time. Parking spaces are to close together very tight fit getting in and out of car. The manager did subtract the charge for the ham. Over priced boxed food. Won’t go back.

The smoke from the wood fire was overwhelming. My Wife received a coaster for her iced tea but I got nuthin’ for my water. I guessed that you had to pay in order to receive a coaster. This was my first meal in a Cracker Barrel and it reinforces my anti-franchise restaurant philosophy: Don’t eat in them! My Wife’s Chicken Salad was mediocre and my bowl of Chili was factory-made, no doubt about it.

this was my first time at a cracker barrel. i walked in to the store and omg i can’t believe i’ve never been here! they have all sorts of odds and ends and trinkets for sale. i’m hungry but my man can barely drag me over to the restaurant side. our waitress is super friendly. service and timeliness are great. the food is pretty generic american breakfast food. not as good as the diner i go to regularly down the street, but not the worst either. i’d go back if there were no other options within a 30 mile radius.

Cracker Barrel is normally our«go to» place. This location needs serious help! Our waitress Danica did her best but she was so overwhelmed waiting on the whole first section by herself! Why do they have it that one person is taking orders and there are 5 people carrying the orders out? They kep t pounding us with WEAK coffee because it took so long to get served. First order delivered was wrong. Our food wasn’t hot the 2nd time around and I’m not sure our Turkey Sausage patties was cooked. Didn’t finish them. Womens bathroom had maintenance issues. Will not go to this one again when in area.

Conveniently located within walking distance of the Hampton Hotel. Service was a little slow but the food was decent for a chain restaurant. Wish I had researched the Unilocal listings a little earlier in the evening instead of what was convenient. I’ve found the local family owned eateries are the ticket to a good meal.

We love Cracker Barrel… This visit was horrid. I was very disappointed for taking my family here for our first night of travel for vacation. Greeting: we had no issues with the minor dinner time wait. Better than expected and we were greeted politely multiple times. We were seated fairly quickly. Service: our waitress seemed overwhelmed and like the kitchen was underperforming from the start. She was polite but seemed hurried. She even informed my wife in advance that the dish she wanted to order took a longer time to prepare. She said they would be happy to make it but we might be there longer than expected. Obviously being travelers with kids, this warning was appreciated as thoughtful. She even suggested some alternatives. Food: food quality was atrocious. The kitchen staff needs to be retrained or spot-checked without mercy. My food was lukewarm except one scalding dish of broccoli. The hash brown casserole was crisp throughout and cool. Greens– cool. Baked sweet potato– lukewarm. My wife’s dinner was the same. The bacon in my daughter’s plate was overlooked but her pancakes were smoking hot and tasty. My son’s chicken-fried chicken was decent and his hash brown casserole looked better than mine… Though also cool. Cornbread tasted like bacon(off-putting to my wife… I liked it). Biscuits were good. Ambiance: it’s a Cracker Barrel and lives up to the standard. Bathrooms were decent. The manager was busy doing service recovery with another table and the checkout person was more interested in the other customer’s complaint than asking how my meal or service was. I will be following up with CB corporate though as this store/experience does not live up to their standards.

This was my first trip to CB in about 16 yrs. Passing through WV for the night and wanting a quick, nearby meal, we settled on walking there. Food was delicious and fast. No complaints although it did seem like our server couldn’t tell the difference between the chicken fried chicken and the country fried steak. Overall a good meal and a decent price– $ 30 for three adults and a toddler.

Great location, service and food. To be transparent, I am a Cracker Barrel Fan and this location did not disappoint. My server, Shane M. was courteous, attentive and knowledgeable in the menu. I ordered coffee, MultiBerry(new) Pancakes with scrambled eggs and bacon($ 11.53). My server, Shane even threw in a few of CB’s yummy biscuits with Apple Butter(complimentary). That extra effort earned Shane an extra tip today; $ 3 on a $ 11.53 bill — not bad. Keep up the great customer service Shane. In summary I would highly recommend this Cracker Barrel location and I plan to return on my next road trip.

Well it’s been a long run but I finally had an unpleasant experience at a Cracker Barrel. It must have been my phone because no restitution was offered. somehow grandma’s breakfast went from 7.99 to 13.99. The manager assured me he was sorry but no clear explanation.

Love the store has so many cute things, always super friendly as well. If your dieting not a good place to go everything is super fattening although really good biscuits and gravy I tried to stay healthy today and got eggs which were extremely dry yogurt and parfait was good the turkey sausage was dry and small

If I could give zero stars I would. Nothing but nothing was cooked right. They need to reconsider who is in the kitchen. Also they have the toilets running constantly to clean them. What an incredibly irresponsible waste of water. I don’t think I will ever set got in a cracker barrel again.

I’ve always disliked Cracker Barrel due to how sick I get after, but this was by far the worst experience I’ve had at one. I am also a waitress at a very popular and highly rated restaurant so I know what good service and food is and neither were good. My waitress took five minutes to greet us… Seriously?! And then when she took my drink order I asked for a sweet tea and somehow got coke? And when she asked for my order I asked to give us a few minutes and she scoffed and walked away… WOW. Then as she was on her way back around I asked her what the soups were and she proceeded to say«Can you give me a minute?», in a snarky tone and walked away. To at least give CB some type of credit the food was decent. No waiter should ever sass or be as rude to their table as she was. NEVERAGAIN.

Cracker Barrel is undoubtably one of my favorite places to go. I’ve always loved the good food, and the service is usually top notch. At this particular one, I wasn’t disappointed by any means. The waitress had four stars with the red apron(she’s a trainer), and she was on top of it in addition to being very professional. Not much to add to this review.

The worst Cracker Barrel experience I have ever had. Bumped to three stars as they insisted I tell how everything was at checkout and after my story took half off the bill. The best option however would be a better experience and pay full price IMHO. Waitress was horrible. Didn’t bring muffins as promised, or place order as requested… Requested bacon, brought turkey bacon… Asked for no butter, brought all pancake orders with butter, asked for Apple butter, didn’t bring it. Place was almost empty and we had to hunt down wait staff for corrections with our order. Waitress finally asked us after the meal how everything was. I said the bacon was horrible, she said she rang it up wrong and offered to bring actual bacon as ordered. I replied that it was after the meal and a bit late… No offer for discount or refund even after admitting their mistake! Unbelievable!

My first Cracker Barrel experience and likely my last. Food was surprisingly poor. Just this side of having to send it back to see if it could be improved, but with little hope it could be improved. I’m surprised because I thought Cracker Barrel was some kind of bastion of southern-style cooking for the plantation-nostalgic states. Now I completely understand why no one south of the Mason-Dixon line is going to oust Paula Deen, no matter how many times she uses the n-word. They are apparently saving the flourish and the customer service for the store, which is how i would imagine a Disneyland gift shop as designed by Yosemite Sam. All a little much and ultimately unsatisfying. Looks like a good place to buy a rocking chair

Service was poor and food was mediocre. The place is way too crowded for my taste.

The food is pretty good. It’s similar to what your grandmother may have made for you when you were a kid. LOADS of breads, butter, and grease. Now don’t get me wrong. I grew up eating that way and so an establishment should be right up my alley. However it’s just okay most of the time. Case-in-point was taking my dad there for Father’s Day. The bacon was inconsistently cooked. One plate it was crisp and perfect, on another too crispy, on another barely warmed up and swimming grease. There was gravy on the side of my bowl down onto the plate and under the plate. It then smeared across the table to make a greasy, unpleasant mess. My dad was not pleased with his meal. Another reason for me to pay(in addition to it being Father’s Day) so he won’t have any regrets aside from the next 3 hours of heartburn.

EVERYTHING! From the service, to the wait time to the meal and check out was PERFCT! Outstanding job. Keep up the good work at this location.

Why do you always have to wait for a server to acknowledge your existence at Cracker Barrel? Hubby and I stopped here while traveling as it was close to our hotel. We sat for at least 5 minutes waiting for our server. We ordered when she came to the table to save some time. Our food came out reasonably fast, but the guy who brought it to our table forgot the biscuits and my salad. No return to check our drinks, if things were ok, etc. Now I remember why it has been 4+ years since I have last dined at CB…
