A very beautiful wild area where I often have come to walk — usually without seeing a soul, except for the deer and the turkey buzzards. This was the oldest inhabited area of New Jersey, and if you want to know what nature looked like in the past, here’s a good place. On the left, you see the meadows rolling down from Kingston village, while on your right is a dense wood with ponds and — amazingly — a very old bridge that doesn’t seem to go anywhere. I couldn’t improve on the text and pictures on the website.
