On our third trip to the Ace yesterday, we decided that beer might help the afternoon project. Lo and behold, there’s a liquor store in Princeton Shopping Center. We had no idea this store even existed although we must have passed in front of it dozens of times. There’s a large selection of inexpensive wines and beers. There are even well over a dozen Riesling Kabinetts(one was okay, the other far too sweet; my search for one which tastes like the spine of a head of lettuce continues). For beer, we picked up Yuengling – cold – as we just wanted something basic but not horrible. There are some selections from Magic Hat, Dogfish Head, Flying Fish, and a few other standard smaller craft brews – nothing like Canal’s selection, but one doesn’t need to go to shopping mall Hell to pick up a decent beer. Efficient checkout and ample parking, open until 9PM Friday and Saturday.
