Goodwill

This is the Goodwill closest to my home and I happen to frequent the joint as I LOVE a good bargain find and do tend to shop mostly in second hand stores as I find normal store pricing OUTRAGEOUS unless I can find and exceptional clearance sale. I love this particular goodwill not only for its convenient location but I always find something there. They have great brand names and most things are in good condition. I have also found accessories and several household items. I also really like the «punch card» they have. Every time you spend over $ 10 (which is easy to do considering all the awesome stuff they have) they stamp your card and once you fill your stamp card you get $ 10 off. This is a great deal considering 90% of the time the most I spend is $ 25-​$ 30 (mind you this gets me 1– ¹¹⁄₂ LARGE bags of clothing or household items. If you love thrifting as much as I do I definitely recommend giving this location a try.

I was on the verge of giving this two stars, but I realized I was thinking only of myself. The issue is that this location has almost exclusively women’s clothing. At least, that was the case the one time I stopped in a year ago. I don’t often find myself in Powell, so I haven’t had cause to return. Now, if you are a woman, then maybe you’ll find it to be a much better thrift store than my rating lets on. In fact, considering that its shelves and racks are stocked with the former belongings of very well-​to-​do Delaware County women, it may be your dream thrift store. It only took a couple of minutes for me to realize they didn’t have anything I was interested in though.
Oh yeah, as with just about everything in this area, it’s pretty much brand spanking new. So it’s very clean and orderly.
