Tea At Seven Springs

I’m such a sucker for afternoon tea so when we walked by, why not? I could use some tea. What I didn’t expect was an adorable tea room with a complete afternoon tea experience.
Cream Tea — The basic tea set for $ 7.95. Includes:
2 Scones of the Day
Cream, curd or jam
Frozen fruit salad or fresh fruit
Choice of Tea
I chose the Ice Wine tea. It had a slight hint of sweetness in the tea that wasn’t too overpowering. I’m not sure exactly what flavor scones we got but they were very light and fluffy. I really liked the scones with jam. The frozen fruit salad was a bit odd to me. It tasted like frozen whipped cream with fruit in it. The cream tea set is very reasonably priced and just the right amount of food for a light meal.
This is a great place to have a nice day out with just the girls or a children’s tea party. It fits in so well with historic Powder Springs.

I went to this place in Jan, 2008. It was a cute tearoom.
I can say they are famous for themed tea parties with a hospitable tea master. The day I went for an afternoon tea with my friend, I saw some little girls were having a birthday tea party. They all dressed up in a Victorian style dresses which made them looked like princesses. Before they started their tea, the tea master presented a fashion show. All girls were walking up to the stage and presented themselves. It was very cute. After that, the tea master gave girls a tea manner lesson before serving teas. It was very fun to watch. Anyway, this teahouse has a themed tea party for adults also.
I haven’t tried that one yet.
Foods were fine to me. I thought some of the cakes were a little bit too sweet for me. the Tea variety was average. I didn’t find any rare teas. The atmosphere was homey and country style. Good place to have a party. If you are thinking about having a themed party, please see the website.
