I’m keeping it short & simple. This IS the place if u want 2 get the best haircuts n SD. I completely recommend Joni (stylist) or Shelly (owner & stylist) 4 the best haircare period. Staff is totally relaxed & very cool. ALWAYS worth every penny!

Love this place, like walking in to family. Everyone is smiley and loving. People who go, stay. Duh you have to have an appointment, they are busy because they are so great. My family has been going here for 20 years, we will never leave!

I love it here!!! Such a warm welcoming salon. Everyone is so nice to greet you and make you feel right at home. I have been coming here since I was a little girl. I have never had a bad experience. My hair cut and color is always amazing, my skin has never felt better after my facial and my mani/​pedi is the best! I’m always ready for a night out on the town when I leave Twin Scissors! Thank you ladies for making feel and look so good!

I’ve been coming to this salon and seeing Michelle regularly for 6 years now. The first day I stepped into Twin Scissors (from a Costco reference no less) I felt like family and nothing has changed. Michelle is very talented– she does my highlights better than any hairdresser I’ve ever had. My cut always turns out exactly how I want it! She did all the hair dos for my wedding, and when my mom was sick — she even took time out of her Sunday to come to the hospital and do her hair, just to help make her feel a little better. Michelle is flexible and the price is right — I’ve paid a lot more for a lot less! If you’re looking for a place to come regularly and leave feeling fabulous, Twin Scissors is it!

Wow! We, family of 5, walk in to get my 14 year old a trim and see if worth being regulars. Two stylists look at us as I ask if they have the time for her trim, they say thy both have clients coming in 10 minutes so I ask about tomorrow and they proceed to say they are again completely booked. As my family is walking out they were rudely laughing. You just lost a family of 5’s business!

I did not receive a facial or service from Diedre, but I came in to buy 302 product from her. First off, she’s a doll! She stayed after her last appointment to accommodate me and spoke to me about which products would be great for me and my concerns. She even gave me a little zap on some problem areas and several samples of product she wanted me to try. I’m be back for a service for sure !!! Thanks Diedre!

I come here to see Diedre. She’s the one who does my facials. I’ve been seeing her for about a year now! She has definitely cleared up my blemishes! I started and is still on the microdermabrasion program to clear up and unclog my skin. So far great results and my skin is more clean and lighter in complexion! Every time I see her she does a great job of explaining how everything works and the products she offers is amazing! I will never use over the counter products to clean my face ever again!

Terri Lucero and I used to work together in the hair industry years ago. I got out of it and continued to go to Terri when she was at the HC Store and finally branched out on her own. It has been years! She knows what I want done and I can trust her to do it. I am never disappointed. It is hard to make a natural brunette look like a natural blonde but she does.

I’ve been getting my eyelash extensions and waxing done by Diedre for about 9 months now. I’m very pleased with the comfort and atmosphere. Diedre is a consummate professional and keeps me looking pretty!
Katie is only there to do hair a couple of days a month, but I won’t let anyone else touch my hair! She is accomplished at precision haircuts and a color expert!

Love love this place! My grandmother has been going here for 15 years and loves it. And now my favorite hairdresser Brittany is there so myself, my mom, my daughter and grandmother get there hair done here. They also do nails, facials and waxing. Great place for all your beauty needs.

Tucked away just off of the main street. You’d could easily miss this jewel! Great happy, comfortable atmosphere ! Great servcie, hair, nails, facials, just about everything you need for a «me day»! Shelly is wonderful ~~ top quality, flexible schedule and efficent, too! I love this place :)

I’ve been going to Shelly Isreal (Michelle) at Twin Scissors for many years. She’s been in Poway for a long time and her longivity thru these difficult times proves that. She stays current on style and color and other aspects of the business. Shelly does a lot of «pro-​bono’ type of work as well, helping where her services will make a difference in the community of Poway. I always have people ask me where I get my hair done and I know that has to be because Shelly does such a great job.
