They’re more concerned about money than their customer service. Good businesses have a balance between these two goals, but they don’t. There is a cancellation fee of $ 35 if you miss the appointment, which is fair in certain scenarios. Mine, however, was not fair. My car was not able to start so I could not make my long-awaited appointment and the first thing the girl tells me is that it’s inconvenient for the technician that I don’t show up b/c they’re missing out on customers. Like really? I’m still a paying customer if I just reschedule. Are you not concerned about building a good customer base? Instead you’re concerned about how many slots you can fill & these slots better make it no matter what or we’ll charge them a nice little fee.

I had my lashes done by Jennifer & she was amazing! My lashes came out very natural looking which is what I was looking for. She was very detailed when putting on my lashes as well as explaining how to care for them. The appointment took about 2 hours but Jennifer made the environment very relaxed which was worth it because I was able to take a little nap :) I will for sure be going back to Jennifer to get my lashes refilled!

I’ve been going to the lash boutique for a little over a year now and have had three different lash techs. Tonight was the last straw. I showed up at 4:30 for my 5:00 appointment and was told to have a seat someone would be with me shortly. After about twenty minutes I see the receptionist talking to two techs who are both shaking their heads no, no, no. Then the receptionist tells me I don’t have an appointment. She looks through her books and tells me that the appointment was with Jen but she’s no longer there and the didn’t transfer my appointment. The new tech tells me that she can’t do it because she was only there for a treatment and her son was waiting for her. The brunette took off and didn’t even have an excuse as to why the will not honor my appointment. Bottom line go there only if you want a different tech each time. Maybe they will honor your appointment. Maybe not. They don’t really care

2 weeks ago, today, I had eyelash extensions done for the first time. The young girl that did them was so informative and sweet.(I cannot remember her name) I ended up getting the small set since it was my first time(25 – 30 lashes per eye) I had two lashes come out the first hour which was a bummer, but I had hardly any come out after except normal shedding.(for being 2 weeks in I still have a decent amount left). I loved that I didn’t really have to do my eye make-up, however, I had a hard time washing my face since I didn’t want to splash my lashes with soap and water. Not being able to cleanse my face as well has caused me to break out around my forehead :(another thing that drove me nuts was when one of the lashes literally got stuck in my eye. Because the extensions were much thicker it took me so long to fetch it out, not to mention the pain! Overall I do enjoy the lashes. I do think lashes are way over priced(not just here, but everywhere) I think I’m going to get 1 or 2 more fills and then go back to applying them myself.

When I went to the lash boutique, I felt as if they were just trying to fit in another coupon customer and get me in and out as quick as they could. I called about two weeks before I desired an appointment. The receptionist told me she could not fit me in. I told her that I had bought the coupon specifically for a wedding and was hoping to use the coupon for it. She said maybe she could fit me in. she called me back with a Saturday appointment(which is not the norm). I was excited and thankful. Once at the office, no one consulted with me before asking me to sign the consent form that said everything was explained to me. The Dr. who did my eyelashes(I had bought a small set) barely explained the process even when I told her I was new to lash extensions. She seemed annoyed when I had to ask her to stop several times during applying the lashes because the glue fumes were irritating my eyes. She did ask what look I wanted and I said full and natural. Her definition of full and natural was very different from mine. When finished I was not very happy with the look, but it was the first time I had lashes done so I wanted to get used to it before I asked for anything to be changed. Upon getting home and looking at other lashes online– I realized that all of the lashes she glued on were the all same length(whether at the corner of my eye or in the middle) and were a bit too long for a natural look. Had the Dr. talked to me after she glued them in I would have asked for some smaller lashes to fill it in(even if I had to pay more). But this was not offered to me. I didn’t think of it on my own at the time as I was still taking them in. I wish she had consulted with me before applying the lashes and looked at pictures to figure out the look I was going for. Since Poway is too far for me to travel to during rush hour during the week, I went to another salon in Mission Valley, Lash Beauty, and saw Agnes who did a great job taking off some of the long lashes at the corners of my eyes and filled in with smaller lashes to help achieve that more natural look I was going for.

I just had my Glitznow lashes applied by Melissa at this wonderful boutique. I had never thought about lash extensions until I saw the Living Social deal, $ 49 for a small set. As a lady in my 50’s, my lashes have naturally begun thinning and when I saw the deal, I thought, for that price, why not? And I am so happy I did! My lashes look naturally beautiful, and I really doubt if I’ll wear mascara again after seeing how gorgeous and full my lashes look. I will definitely be back to have my lashes re-filled and maybe even enhanced more. Thank you Lash Boutique for giving me back the beautiful lashes I was born with! :)

Service: 4 Product: 3 I had always wondered about eyelash extentions, but they’ve always been ridiculously priced until a Living Social deal made them worth a try. $ 85 for full set and an after care package. Ok, I was game. The Lash Boutique is located within the Better Health and Wellness Center located right off Poway Road. It’s a little ghetto strip mall sandwiched between a tiny liquor/convenience store and a auto shop. Inside, it’s clinic/spa and was clean and quiet enough. My brow stylist was extremely nice and didn’t mind that I had a few questions for her before I signed consent. If only I could remember her name. The receptionist thought it was odd that I wouldn’t sign an INFORMED consent without speaking to her first. That’s why it’s called an informed consent. Get ready to be there a while. Use the bathroom and if you don’t want to have a 2 hour conversation with your stylist, bring your iphone and headphones. It wasn’t at all painful, just tedious. In the end, I was totally satisfied with the look. Very natural, yet you could see a dramatic difference. Of course if you wanted super glam lashes, you could get that too. Why won’t I go back? Because fake lashes are definitely not worth it. The normal price for a full set is $ 300. Yes, $ 300 and they lasted about 2, maybe 3 weeks tops. The lashes started falling out a few days after I got them and I was extremely careful with them. They weren’t worth the effort and instead of being less maintenance, they ended up being more. So, if you’re into lash extentions already, you can give this place a shot. If you’re considering it, thinking they’re easier than mascara… well think again.
