This may be a good stable to take lessons from, if I had gotten the chance to actually experience it. I found their ad on Craigslist so I texted the trainer to ask about lessons, as it was stated in their CL ad this was a preferred way of contacting them. I got a couple texts back regarding pricing and then I was told I would be called back the following day with more information so I could schedule a lesson. No one ever called. Now I completely understand not having time to text all day, but when you say your going to call, actually call. I just found it unprofessional and felt like they didn’t care about my business since they couldn’t even call me back when I was clearly ready to schedule a lesson. Also, if you can’t respond to text, take that out of your contact method on your ad. Or if you don’t want any new students stop posting so many ads.

I had the best experience with the San Diego Saddle Club. Horses are beautiful and healthy, the costumer service is responsive and amazing. I had a private with Holly. She clearly understood my needs. We went over the basics and she corrected my rusty technique. I was so happy that I decided to book more Great professionalism and competitive prices make SDSC a must academy to go.

My nine year old is really enjoying San Diego Saddle Club. We love the personal attention they give to each rider, especially as she is learning and getting better. The facility at Peppertree is just wonderful, and the horses are great. We think this will be a fantastic year for riding, and hope to do a show or two. She still has a lot to learn, but the instructors are knowledgeable, and patient.

Had an absolute blast at the San Diego Saddle Club! It’s been 10 years since I’ve ridden, and Sara did an amazing job getting me back in the saddle. I’ve already recommended them to friends, and will be going back as much as possible! Holly is easy to reach and work with, which was wonderful while trying to schedule lessons!

Unfortunately really unhappy with my experience with this place. It took me forever to get ahold of the trainer after calling 3 or 4 times and leaving a voicemail which wasn’t returned… then eventually I was able to schedule a lesson… after I had been scheduled for over a week the trainer texted me an hour or two before the lesson asking if I could reschedule for 5 hours later. I agreed to change my plans around, but then when it turned out that I couldn’t change my entire evening around to fit her schedule even though I tried my best to do so, I left a message asking to reschedule my lesson and never heard a word back. Which in my opinion is totally unprofessional especially since she was the one who initially wanted to reschedule. Wasted a week on waiting for a lesson here when I could have been looking elsewhere… Have been searching for a barn where I can take biweekly lessons and get back into showing and now it definitely won’t be this place!

San Diego Saddle Club is great for any level equestrian! Having never taken lessons before, I was excited to try them out when our wellness committee organized group lessons with the San Diego Saddle Club. Their prices are competitive, and we were getting lessons by Holly Bergay, one of the top equestrians around! The horses are all fantastic, not your typical barn sour horse with no get-up-and-go. They are well trained and kept us riders on our toes… challenging us to become better riders and learn to communicate with them! Lessons were always fun and enjoyable, but at the same time Holly expected us to pay attention and learn while we were there. If you’ve been considering taking lessons, stop thinking about it and just do it!
