I will give this place 5 stars. It is like a subway. You see everything. The sauce, cheese, herbs, meats and veggies are all spread for you to see and choose what you’d like on it. When we ate the pizza, it was perfect. The crust was crunchy and the sauce was savory. You pay the price of the pizza and can add on whatever and however much You want. It is the best if you like to create personalized pizzas.

Conveniently close to my work, fresh, just the way I want it and reasonable in pricing. Better than the other pizza places around such as Little Caesars.

The staff was really friendly! This is my second time here and I’m excited to try The Beast. Blues was really fun and helpful! Excited to come back. Only wish you had buffalo wings on the side!

Delicious! I love crafting my own pizza and Pizza Studio has a pretty good selection of toppings! I’m always happy with my food and continue to go back! Sometimes at dinner time the line can get a little slow but that’s too be expected. Just account for some extra time and enjoy your food!

First and last experience. Placed an order online for 3 pies on a Friday evening. Ordering online was a piece of cake. After arriving in a fully packed pizza parlor to pick up my pies I was greeted by a smiling face asking if I was the online order. Yeah yeah you know it! Prepaid so I bounced and took my 11″ pies back to the palace. Smelling good, we opened up the boxes only to find dissapointment on top of thin crust. Toppings were scarce and lopsided. Ordered 1 meatball pizza and it had about 9 nickel-sized meatballs on about ¾ of the pie; two slices had none. What. The. Fu*k. The other two, although having ordered more toppings, were also scarce with inconsistencies throughout. Pictures are worth a 1000 words but I didnt take any and I also have no more words to write.

Love, Love, Love, this place! I’m not a thin crust person but I love their pizzas. It’s not your average pizza. This is an artist pizza to go with the local art that covers the wall. It is a healthy version. You choose your crust, your sauce, and your toppings. They even have gluten free choices.

Good crust choices, so-so on toppings, and semi-friendly staff. I really liked the«whole wheat flax seed» crust. As compared to Blaze pizza and Pizza rev, they do not have as many toppings(I missed spinach and fresh garlic and some others)… and the toppings did not look very fresh either. Pizza is cooked in an electric oven on conveyor belt, not in an oven. Which is good and bad. Bad that you don’t get the smokiness of the wood burning stove, good that your pizza is baked correctly every time. Crust seemed bit thinner than the other places also, which I did not mind, just means I am consuming less carbs. We will try to visit this place again and see if it’s any better next time.

We signed up for the«frequent diner» card at Pizza Studio in Poway and we receive email updates from time to time. Yesterday we received an email stating a Monday Happy Hour promo — $ 5 pizza’s from 7 p. m to 10p. m I convinced my wife to head out on a Monday night due to the great deal. We show up and on the door a sign reads«this location is not participating in the „happy hour“ pizza special. » Then why in heck did you send me an email stating you were running the special??? False advertising at it’s very core. Very deceiving! We went over to Five Guys and had a nice burger instead. Don’t trust Pizza Studio advertisements or email specials. They are just luring you in. And to add salt in the wound — they jacked up their prices significantly over the past few months.

One of the new assembly-line pizza joints. It is similar to Pieology, Project Pie, PizzaRev, and Blaze Pizza. I think Blaze is still my favorite. Mind you, I have not tried Pieology yet. Nor have I tried MOD Pizza — the original«Chipotle of Pizza». As for Pizza Studio, the venue was fine, the service was OK, and the pizza itself was average to good. The ingredients did not look entirely fresh. The tomatoes, for example, were so limp that I skipped putting them on the pie. And I love tomatoes. Service was OK, but the person who greeted me seemed a tad impatient with my newbie questions. That’s no fun. I think if Pizza Studio steps up the ingredients it will be an easy 4 stars for them.

Just like your typical PizzaRev, Blaze, and Pieology. There is nothing to complain about, but it was not the most amazing custom pizza place I have been to. It is nice and clean inside, and the workers are diligent in keeping the restaurant appealing inside. A great place to stop in for a quick pizza.

Love this place, and what I deem to be my almost guilt free pizza! The people are always friendly no matter how busy they get. The firecracker crust is just the right amount of spice, and adding balsamic glaze, and basil is always a delicious choice!

Great experience tonight. The place was clean and it was surprisingly calm and quick to get my pizza. I am docking one star bc it seems like they stick new people on without good training. I do not hold this against the new ppl but I am sticking up for them. There is a high turn-over here and I have seen the owners present on their laptops(+awkward+). My pizza was awesome and there is one guy here who really stands out from the pack: shout-out to RYAN. He is friendly, charismatic, personable, energetic and real. Thank you for always providing me w/great service, Ryan. This place has had a lot of strong workers come and go and that’s a shame. At any rate, here is my breakdown: +2 for overall taste and product quality. +1 for featuring local artists and keeping the place looking sharp +1 for hiring fresh, young faces that work super hard –1 bc Im still having to check my pizza before I leave, to make sure it’s not burnt. I’ll hook up the 5 stars when your oven speed matches my palate. Till then… CYA!

I am usually a big fan of Pizza Studio, and I thoroughly enjoyed the pizza I ordered, but I was not pleased with management with the lackluster desire to fix the spout of the unsweetened ice tea container at the time of my visit. I ordered the Sausage and Peppers with added Bacon on the Rosemary Herb Crust and a self serve unsweetened iced tea. The pizza was great and came with a very good amount of all the toppings. The sausage was savory and a had a good herb flavor. I really liked the diced bell peppers because they remain crisp and tasty. The added bacon was a little crispy, but very tasty and the mushroom that came with the pizza were very tender. The amount of cheese was just right and tasted quite fresh. The rosemary herb crust is simply delicious, not to mention crispy with just the right amount of a chew. The rosemary flavor was very evident and good. The crust was medium thin crust and it help held up very well to the pizza’s ingredients. Other than a few burnt spots on some of the crust bubbles, the crust was great. Like I said earlier, I had a issue with the unsweetened tea dispenser. When I pressed the level, the unmix tea and water came squirting out of the sides, and what little tea I did manage to get in my cup, did not taste good, given it was not properly mix. I notified the manager and he said he would check it out, but after waiting for 20 minutes and repeatedly telling employees, including a young lady who off work, but checked it out, and confirmed it was not work, nothing ever got done. After waiting for approximately 25 minutes for someone to fix the ice tea dispenser, I gave up and asked the manager for my money back for the tea, which I got, and finally got to sit down and eat my pizza. Even still, after remaining there eating my pizza and drinking water, no even bothered to fix the ice tea dispenser. If they would of least attempted to fix it, coupled with the great pizza, this review would of easily have been four stars, but given the outcome, I had to resort to a three stars.

This was my first experience at a «make your own» pizza place. They have so many options for toppings and you can put on as many as you want for only $ 7.99! I opted for their margherita pizza which was just $ 5.99, such a good deal. They make the pizza right in front of you, so you know it’s fresh. And they have an awesome oven that bakes your pizza in a speedy fashion. I was very pleased with the customer service and quality of pizza at Pizza Studio. I’m excited to back and make my own creation!

Yes, I am a fan. They have firecracker crust which is pretty spicy. They ahve all the toppings you can imagine except two of my favorites — spinach and Riccotta. Say what?! Pizza Studio, if you are listening, please add! Now on to the good stuff. They have a choice of traditional sauce, pesto, buffalo or a combination of all of them. They even have grilled broccoli. They have sweet chicken sausage and spicy pork sausage. They ahve jalapenos and bana peppers. I am a huge fan of these quick cook pizza places(like a Chipotle for pizza). Blaze is still my favorite but this one is a close second! Oh and PLEASE beer! Why no beer? Pizza and beer go tgether like … well, pizza and beer!

I like the concept of picking and choosing my toppings on the spot and as much as i want with fixed price under $ 10. I chose an original crust with tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese(extra cheese), onions, olives, pineapple, green peppers and chicken sausage. The pizza looked delicious until i took a bite of it… it was too salty. Im not sure what made it too salty and i had this kind of combo before and it didn’t get salty as this. Took two slices and i was done. Not a good pizza for me today :(

I felt like this place was not as generous on the meat and extra toppings compared to the other places, especially since it cost slightly more than the other places. Everything else was just ok!

I swear to the almighty that the line staff are side-eying me and thinking«not sure if serious or trolling» whenever I kept telling them to add more meat. Yes to more meat, and YES I am serious. When I see the words«unlimited» and«toppings», rest assured that I will take advantage of said toppings. Rest assured, Pizza Studio staff will attempt to negate this. Cue to story time, ladies, gents, and kiddos. I opted for the rosemary herb dough and guiltily asked the employee«hey, which one has the least carbs?» with a laugh. Not serious… okay, maybe semi-serious. But hey, let’s live in the moment, right?! Diabetes be damned whenever I go to the Del Mar Fairgrounds during this time of the year. Next is the cheese — shout out to the AWESOME guy who loaded up my pie with goat cheese crumbles! Why opt for mozzarella when you can get delicious goat cheese?! Basically when I’m sad, I stop being sad and be awesome instead. For some reason the 11″ [in diameter] pie felt a lot smaller than the 12″ ones at other competitors more west and south. Smaller area obviously means less toppings can be placed on. Whoever said«size matters» is absolutely right, amongst other things. Limited veggie options, so here goes the mushrooms, pineapple, and peppers. Now comes the meat: less options, and each piece is slowly added on. I had to tell the employees multiple times«can I get more? yes, more.» and«don’t split it up, just slap on a bunch» and yet the slowly added on the meat. Needless to say, protein to carb ratio was rather low despite my efforts. Dammit Pizza Studio, you win this time… You may have won the battle, but you will not win this war. «You know nothing, Pizza Studio». The price seems to be the norm around this here neck of the woods(and pretty much all of San Diego county), which is great if you’re looking to enjoy a freshly made pie with prepared toppings and various crust flavors.
