Lady on the phone was so rude & impatient it was crazy LOL. Worst customer service I got over the phone and I didn’t even have to come in. I call in to inquire about coming in for same day & she says it’s fine, but I was so indecisive about what to get so she tells me to call back when I do which was fine. Keep in mind, I swear, I was sweet & friendly talking to her…
I call back and I get hung up on. I’m like okay maybe it was by accident? I call again and tell her I decided to get acrylic gel & I could already tell she was impatient with me when I called it «gel acrylic» & had such a change in tone like MY BAD. She tells me okay we’ll take you in with whoever’s available, then I just ask «are you guys busy today?» wondering if I can request Vina, then she snaps saying «Honey, like I said we don’t know depending who comes in yada yada.» I just told her straight up that I changed my mind.

Amazing service! Annie is so nice and she’s the real mvp doing my gel acrylic! Made great conversation and paid a lot of attention to detail and to my opinion as well!

Fast, friendly service and very clean salon. Walk-​in on a Tuesday and they got my cousin and I sat within 15 minutes.
Personable technicians and knowledgable on designs and trendy colors. We both are very happy with the quality of the manicure we got which is acrylic with shellac coat. Working in the restaurant industry requires tough nails!
We both have had our nails done many times and this is by far the best salon for the price we have been. Next time we will get pedicures for the full experience.
Decent size inside with enough chairs for a fair amount of people, not cramped or not giant. Really nice interior with clean stations and selection of color is also very substantial – something to meet everyone’s wishes from children to working professionals.

I walked in to this place last week somewhat randomly, and had a great experience.
I got a gel manicure and regular pedicure for a reasonable price, I think it $ 25/​$ 18.
It took a while but the staff was very sweet and my nails look great.
When I got up to leave one technician fussed over my toenails because she saw that a little polish had gotten on my toes.
Will definitely return!

Love this place! They always fit me in and give me exactly what I want with excellence, definitely recommend them to anyone in Poway area or anywhere in San Diego that want a great «nail salon» experience. Plus the music is always fun

Awesome job to my teenagers. They got the acrylic nail done, almond shape and square shape. Thank you the awesome Harry and the simple Vina for the beautiful nail done to my teenagers! The flowers are fabulous.

this place is absolutely amazing. every time I come they are always so nice to me. they remember me & ask how I’m doing & how my daughter is doing. I’ve been coming here for almost 2 years. this is definitely a place I will continue to come too! both Annie & Vienna are wonderful!

Annie did an amazing job. Exactly like the picture I showed, very detailed! It was my first time and I’m definitely coming back to get more nail designs done. Awesome customer service as well, very funny and nice employees!

Every business is the same, they do good job so customers would come back.
If you come during rush hours, be patient, or call to make an appointment ahead of time before coming, remember this is a first comes first serves business.
I really love the girls here, IVY has good skill and very GENTLE. They are all professional and really sincere, they know what they doing and do it real good. Sometimes you might meet a person with not good english, it is fine, just show them picture of how you want your nails to be.
I know some people have bad days and would be easy to get mad, but calm yourself and be reasonable to others, try and see things for yourself, not through others’ view.

Yes, I did ask her if she had any children and then the follow up question of why she didn’t want children. It was appropriate considering that my 5 month old was in the stroller right next to us and she was asking me all about my daughter, what my husband does for a living, and where I’m going on vacation. I was not prying or being rude in the slightest. I was very nice and kind. If she was uncomfortable talking about herself then she should have said so instead of becoming angry and rude.
Either way, I expect to be treated kindly at any business where I pay for a service. Especially considering the fact that I treat everyone I come in contact with kindly and respectfully no matter who you are or where you come from.

I only paid $ 25 for a gel manicure which is a great bargain. Clarity Nails & Spa is located in the same parking lot as Little Caeser’s and Super Cuts. No wait at all on a Monday around lunchtime.

Annie and Vina are amazing. I lived coming here! They are both so sweet and did an amazing job!

I went to Clarity today as a walk-​in because my acrylics needed a fill. Annie was at the front desk & got me started immediately. As she began to file my nails she saw some issues with my existing acrylics (previously done elsewhere) that left me vulnerable to develop fungus & weak nails. She was great at explaining every step of the manicure, which in over a year of wearing acrylics I’ve never had & made me really comfortable with the entire process. She removed & re-​applied my entire set perfectly, they are so natural looking & smooth. She didn’t rush & continued to encourage me to speak up if there was anything I didn’t like. I would highly recommend this salon & Annie!

I’ve been coming here for several months and have always had great service. Annie always takes care of me and remembers exactly how I like my nails done.
I don’t always get a pedicure at every visit but when I do, I don’t ever walk out disappointed.

Good prices and very personal. Love their color choices. Love how respectful the people are.
They also are very helpful in that they help u choose a color if ur not sure.

Customer service is beyond perfect.
I drove from Lakeside to Poway to get my nails done.
The ladies are always so welcoming & make me feel at home.

Looked on Unilocal and found this place, Clarity Nails.
I have my usual nail place I go to who are fabulous in Mira Mesa but I was in the area so I came here.
I recieved Annie as my nail specialist. Do not ever get Annie. I got acrylic white tip full set because she couldn’t do the design I had wanted that I usually get done at my usual place. I showed her the photo of how I wanted it and she immediately said «We don’t have „stickers“ and can’t do that.»
I told her they WERE NOT stickers and that my other nail place did it by hand and with my nail polish I brought… she then became silent. I could tell she wasn’t really experienced or good thus I had went for the easy white oval tip.
I showed her a photo how the shape should be and she even messed that up. Plenty of mistakes done by her such as air bubbles and also the fact that she did not take her time at all and there were only 3 of us getting our nails done!!! GEEZUS.
Might I also add that I pointed out to her that she did not fill the acrylic on two of my nails that well and she never fixed it!!!
I will never come here again. To the managers or owners, please hire more competent nail technicians. It will be worth more your time and money paying them.
I have thought about coming back and getting my nails fixed but really don’t want to step inside this place again. Bad vibes.
I hope others won’t have the same quality of service I did.

My best friend and I decided to come here this past weekend to pamper ourselves. When she originally made the appointment at Clarity’s nails we had no idea what to expect… And it was so impressive. What I like to call a hidden gem in Poway.
This nails shop has it all if you want to treat yourself to a respectable manicure and pedicure. The salon is Supper Clean and has all upgraded equipment and nails polish brands from OPI, ORLY and ESSIE… Our nails tech were Ivy and Harry. They very detailed and did a wonderful job of cleaning, shaping and painting my nails. They took their time to make sure we would walk out of the salon looking great.
The onsite manager that was there very friendly and welcoming. Clarity was real treat … Especially they had great selection of color and high quality services. I’m definitely going back.
