I wanted to take the time to tell you about my amazing experience with Dr. Ha, and his staff, at Highly Artistic Surgery Center in Poway. I cannot begin to tell you how pleased that I am with Dr. Ha, and the results of my non-​surgical face lift.
Let me start at the beginning of the story. As a 56 year old woman, I am no stranger to cosmetic procedures. I’ve had Botox, Juvederm, Restylane, and just about any other injectable to make me look younger. I’ve been to fancy La Jolla plastic surgeons, and paid an arm and a leg for these services. Botox to lift the brow — check. Juvenderm for thinning lips — check. I’ve tried it all.
So, if I’ve done it all, why did I still look old? And tired? And unattractive? I didn’t use to look this way. I was beginning to despair. Here I was going to «high end» plastic surgeons, but I just didn’t like what I saw in the mirror.
It was time for a change, that’s for sure. So, I decided to look locally for a good plastic surgeon. Dr. Ha’s office is up the street from my home, and he came highly recommended, too. I did my research and learned that Dr. Ha is an oncologist that specializes in cancers of the throat and neck, and does reconstructive surgery to help cancer survivors feel good about themselves again. As such, it made sense that Dr. Ha would know the neck and face, not just from the perspective of plastic surgery, but also from the perspective of a skilled surgical practitioner. So I booked a consultation with Dr. Ha.
I knew that I didn’t want actual surgery, but rather, a combination of non-​surgical procedures to help regain a more youthful look. At the initial consultation, Dr. Ha took almost an hour to look at my face, and discuss options with me. He explained that through a set of non-​surgical procedures, my face would look refreshed and toned. Dr. Ha also said that I would NOT look 20 years old again, but that I WOULD look 10 years younger — a better version of myself. This was OK with me! I’ll take 46 any day!
My second appointment was at the beginning of March. I took the afternoon off from work to do a series of non-​surgical procedures including Botox, various fillers, Fraxel, and Ultherapy. Each of these is designed to do something different, but work together to achieve a refreshed look. Ultherapy lifts the face, neck, and throat. Fillers restore plumpness, and Fraxel and Botox fight wrinkling. So it made sense to do these at the same time, for the maximum result.
Even though the results of Ultherapy cannot really be detected for 2 to 3 months, the other procedures were instantly successful. Please check out my before and after photos. They are truly unbelievable!
I am looking forward to seeing the full results of my non-​surgical face lift in a month or so. By then, the Ultherapy will have had time to work.
If you are looking for a truly outstanding plastic surgeon, you owe it to yourself to visit Dr. Ha and his staff. They are extremely attentive, friendly, and seem to really enjoy their jobs! Although this may not seem important, it really does matter that they take pride in their work, and that they care that their patients are happy with the outcome.

A lot goes into deciding whom you chose to perform cosmetic surgery. It’s a huge decision! After being given Dr. Ha’s name and given the critical nature of this decision, I opted to meet with him several times before saying «yes» to a lower face lift, eyes and neck. Not only was Dr. Ha more than generous with his time, his patience and well articulated answers gave me a lot of peace to move forward. The day of surgery, he and his staff were more than caring, courteous and supportive. Who would have thought that surgery could be so good! Dr. Ha’s continued care, support and follow up were unparalleled. During my recuperation, he made himself totally available by text and phone calls. He encouraged me to come to his office should I have any concerns. He said that part of the healing was to make sure that emotionally I felt cared for and supported. Three months later, I am still singing his praises. My visits are always met with a smile and continued care. He is a true professional, making sure that his patient’s needs and cares are met before anything else. Not only does he have quite the pedigree, but his orientation is to the art of his craft and the personal delight and satisfaction of this patients. I can’t recommend Dr. Ha enough. It has been a wonderful experience for me and am totally delighted with the results. The comments have been very positive.
