I called to book an appointment for a security floodlight replacement. Whomever I was speaking with was notably unprofessional, randomly putting the phone down for a few minutes at a time telling me to «wait a sec» while I’m talking. Should’ve just cut my losses there. Anyhow, I’m asked to email the details of what we’ve agreed upon to this guy. Again, not particularly professional, and they don’t seem to care about portraying this amateur image(it was a email address FFS). I email a brief, bulleted synopsis of our verbal agreement – a few days go by and my future appointment is no longer on my mind. Come D-Day I realize I never heard anything back from these guys. I fire off a polite email off asking what their ETA will be, then I called. And I called again. No one picks up and a voice mailbox isn’t available. These guys are good at being bad. In a way I suppose it’s a plus I never had to face-to-face with these folks. I’ve got limited patience for morons and idiots, and if they can’t manage simple scheduling and customer management I’d hate to see how they handle 120v on a ladder. Don’t waste your time with this company, because apparently customers aren’t worth theirs. Plenty of local competition here in San Diego who’d gladly help you out.

This is an update to the previous review of contractor Charles Stanley, dba Charles Stanley Handymen Service. He reimbursed me for the amount that I have paid to the other contractor for fixing his problems. On 07/10/2014, he did pay me in full. Therefore, I consider that his case is closed.
