Hidden GEM! Fresh Mex finest. Fruit dishes, salads, juices, frescas… FRESHANDAMAZING! Really good seafood so far. Kitchen looks clean from the take-out window. Staff is really nice. Down side is styro boxes and icky seating. There is a covered area, but isn’t really kept nice/clean. I don’t know if it is lit at night, so probably wouldn’t go after dark. Definitely not protected from the elements or road noise(seating is like 10 feet from Poway Road… main drag). Too bad, because if it was just a little nicer, I’d travel out to Poway just for this place. I guess if you live in Poway, brought your own tupperware, and took it to go, it would be great! Maybe a tupperware exchange?

This was the BEST Mexican food we’ve had in a while! The wait at D/T was long, but since they’re making your food fresh, it’s to be expected. But totally worth it! They pile in the fillings, and everything is cooked perfectly! The bread on the torts was toasted just right! The chilaquiles and eggs was DELICIOUS! The burrito was great too! We’ll be back next time we are in Poway!

This is a 3.5 review… but the sour cream oozing our of my carnitas burrito is much closer to a 5. The drive thru is slow… oh the horror. We ordered a carnitas burrito con crema, quesadilla &3 rollies with guac and queso. The carnitas burrito was sinful and magic. I always add sour cream… and their crispy carnitas with guac, cheese, pico and crema was a pleasure to eat. solid all the way round. Great to-go salsa and plenty of it. Hot carrots gratis… to go. as all taco shops are measured by their bean and cheese… this will be coming soon. Good job Briannas.

I was always reluctant to eat here and I am not sure why because after trying it the food was so good! The employee was very genuine and friendly and the price was definitely reasonable as far as taco shops go. They also serve salads such as a chicken Cesar which is a nice option that you don’t usually find at taco shops in the area.

This is by far the BEST place to get Carne Asada Fries. I’ve been going here since I went to Bellus for esthetics, which was a couple years ago. I live all the way and North Park and still schlep all the way over here to have the amazing food. They have excellent customer service and great tasting food for great prices. $ 8 for a this amount of food!

I love the service over here. They’re always super friendly whenever we stop by and grab something to eat. I guess you can say they’re like the In-N-Out of taco shops except they have like 50 items on the menu lol. The food is always tasty, and the smoothies are delicious! Definitely not low in calories though! Also, don’t forget to request the free chips and salsa… really good!

For fast Mexican food they are pretty good! Convenient location love that they have a drive through(I am lazy like that) and the food is pretty good! Had a taco salad and I would eat it again! The girl at the drive through yesterday was very professional as well!

Best breakfast burrito in town. Best breakfast burrito within 10 miles. Tortilla is fresh, eggs are right, potatoes have skin but not dry, and bacon cuts are awesome with a nice crisp. The ticket times have definitely improved from the first time I was here. I would recommend they all have matching uniforms and not wear there night shift shirts from other shops. If I would of walked up for the first time and saw some other name on uniform I would associated them with crap down the road and walked away.

The fiancé and I LOVE Mexican food. It’s our weakness. We have been to Armando’s(the barn a block or so away) a few times and have always enjoyed our purchases. We tried out Brianna’s for breakfast burrito’s one day. I’ll admit we were intrigued by the pigtail-wearing redhead boasting Mexican food. The burritos were ok, a little pricier than I had hoped for. We did not add sour cream(which I do at every restaurant I go to) because it was a lot more. We took the burritos home and I put a healthy dollop on once on my couch :) Would I go back? Not with Armando’s right there.

Tasty, but hands down the greasiest, messiest carne burrito I’ve ever fought. On bite #3 it exploded all over my shirt and lap like the final murder scene in a bad horror movie. I sat and watched in a meditational awe as I drained the beast of it’s life force, an oily puddle slowly expanding on my paper plate. Perhaps there’s something amiss about naming a mexican joint anything but a spanish name? There are mysterious forces at work in the magic of making great mexican food that shouldn’t be trespassed. I find the excess burrito greasiness to be a pattern among drive thru mexican restaurants all along Poway rd going all the way back to the early 90’s, sans Alvaro’s.(As sheltered kids, we didn’t know better.) That said, my server was really cool, nice, and gave me a large drink even though I paid for a medium. Cool move. Good if you’re within walking distance and hungry. Otherwise u may want to drive a bit.

My husband and I joked about the authenticity of a taco shop banned Brianna’s with the picture of a little red headed girl on the sign. We ended up giving it a shot and were pleasantly surprised. He had the carne asada tacos and I had the bean and cheese burrito. We were impressed by the quality of both.

Excellent & everything is fresh! I work near Brianna’s & was excited to see a taco shop open so near to me. I was doubtful due to the name, thinking it would be to Americanized. I was wrong. I am super picky about re fried beans, hot sauce, guacamole and quality of food. The rolled tacos are delish plus, they actually use the fresh white cheese as well. The carne asada tacos are on point. It definitely earns the 5 stars. I am surprised to see the bad reviews this place is always busy at lunch.

Don’t do it! In a town with more quality taco shops than Starbucks, they have to bring something to the window to make it worth the trip. Between my son and I we tried 3 items &3 strikes you are out. We agreed the new cook or management served us the worst Mexican Food we have ever encountered. We had hopes for a shop that could be successful there. If you try it bring cash or pay more.

I was not impressed and will probably not eat here again. I got the adobada burrito in the drive thru. I thought it would be good because it did actually smell really good on my way home. However it was so greasy that grease ran out of the burrito and through the bag and got all over the place. The meat was so grissley, I had to pick many chunks out because I couldn’t chew them. Finally the guacamole(i asked for it on the side) appeared to be watered down and was runny– plus it was definitely not fresh. I’m all for supporting new businesses but this place wasn’t good food. There are a lot of mexican places to choose from in this town, so if you want to make it you need to really deliver– they didn’t.
